The second WCW game from EA Sports was scrapped the moment McMahon bought the promotion. Could've been a good game.

I really enjoyed Austin vs. Angle. Kurt had a pretty manly bladejob in there after Austin rammed his head into the ringpost. Angle played the babyface so well, as Austin lead with his psychotic heel. So many great moments in that match. I enjoyed it when Jurt would just keep coming back time and time again. The Benoit/Jericho ladder match will always be in my memory for that sick Walls of Jericho on the ladder.

I'm wondering...why my player has decided to stop using his speed to steal bases. Also, did the lack of running cause him to drop to fifth in the order? Also....the BBs to Ks ratio is outstanding.

Meh...Equalibrium. -
Meh. I do watch ATH and PTI every now and then. They aren't bad or anything. I like Jay Mariotti. Probably just because I read his work as a kid.

The Cubs need to sign Rocker now and just keep him sitting around until/if they make the playoffs. Those numbers astound me.

Pete and Pete hold up well these days..I'm sure Salute Your Shorts could still be decent. Most of the cartoons I would imagine ould be fine...but there are some other shows that could blow now. I enjoyed Welcome Freshmen very much..like to see it again. -
This girl I know at a party once made a mixed drink that smelled and tasted like Christmas. It was nice. Oh, and cloves are evil, but Dunhill Reds are awesome.

I know what you're saying. I took to trip down to UT last weekend, and while we were sitting around in some girls' apartment, "my sweet 16" or whatever the fuck it is came on. There was this one girl with a party..so some poseur punk rawk kids decided to streak...in their boxers. Buncha pussies these kids are. Rich Girls made me laugh at least by how stupid those girls were. I mean, not being able to read a road map is prety fucking funny...just seeing how they knew nothing that was essential to everyday life. -
The guy was just too erratic. I don't give a damn about strikeouts if you can't get batters out when it counts. When the guy was in a tough spot, you could see fear on his face....not good. But meh...he'll probably do well in the AL Central.

Yup. I usually forget about the draft picks in the first off season, since they are some sweet young players to buy up. Usually you give up a 1st and a 3rd round pick.

"It was a glitch in the system that was still paying him." "So, are we going to fire him?" "Well not exactly. We fixed the glitch." "Fixed the glitch?" "He'll just leave after he stops getting paid."

Magglio Ordonez still available? Or, am I out of the loop?

Awesome. I never knew that the Greeks invented anal lube. What is amazing is that for the most part he had pretty good grammar.

Be objective. Also, you have made a damned good decision getting an internship. Makes it much easier to get a job out of college. This is what I hear. I also plan a career in newspapers. Looking into sports as well. How did you get the internship? Also...and most importantly. Get a Vince Lombardi hat. Get a piece of paper. Write "press" on it...and stick it in your hat. You need to walk around the office like that.

Same here. I discovered the show back when I moved to Texas in eigth grade. It was golden then, and golden now. However, I don't really talk about the show outside of my friends who have followed it as long I have. I fear a lot of the people that are into the show, and claim to be religiously, are just doing it because it's the thing to do. But eh...the new fans along with the old fans are what brought this thing back to life. Two more seasons? Fuck yes.

I was surprised to see a promo for the show featuring Larry Bird? Was I the only one who remembers that Bird was lying on his stomach for the last few years of his career, trying to fight chronic back problems? Hell, he retired in like 1992 anyways. Any mention of the Bulls Dynasty?

You guys are arguing about who is more lazy? Jeeze. This thread has had a false start.

I live in Denton County, Texas. The town I live in is right smack dab in the middle of Dallas and Fort Worth, but just a little north of them. DFW Airport is ten minutes south of here. Anyways. This place is maybe the most conservative metropolitian area in the country. Kerry lost every county around here, and he was only a few thousand behind in Dallas County, which of course has a formidable gay, liberal population. People here love the status quo. And they're young. And they have money. In my neighborhood (town as well), nearly every home had a Bush sign. And down the street, a girl I know put a Kerry sign out in front of her house, and after a confrontation with the soccer mom next door, the sign was gone.....it was taken during the night. I'm sure there are other examples of this in the area and with both dems and pubs across the country. My town is well...it's named Flowermound and has three Sonics, three Starbucks, and countless other "money places". It's well funded police department likes to get hummers and then use these hummers to terrorize people who smoke pot. Almost the type of conservative town the stereotypes bring out. As for I. I am liberal. I care about the unfortunate. I am against pro lifers who say that people getting abortions should get them in the back alleys so they can die on the spot. I find that hypocritical. I hate abortion but I think it's better to have it legalized because it is going to happen anyway. I support gay marriage, or at least civil unions that give gay couples the same financial benefits that straight couples receive. None of these views I have are shared with people who have power. The only people are my friends, family, and community college professors. It's the Bible Belt, so what exactly should I expect? -

Yeah....I gotta write something. So who does Crowe have incriminating pictures of in order for him to be on CC? This is right out of left field. And the opening promo slot is stupid IMO. Sure, I've done it....and I'm sure it was lame. Whoever gets the slot feels like writing a 2000 word speech and then have their character drone on and on. Then, someone else comes out and insults are exchanged. Nothing of note ever happens when I read them, which I admit isn't very often. Also, the league has very young promo writers, so you have faces coming out and getting cheap pops and using buzzwords. Meanwhile, the heels do the ordinary heel shit. The opening promo slot is lost on me. -
Ah...to be 16 again... Wait no, being 16 was shitty. Happy Birthday, Mike.
