Well thank God I'm not the only one who didn't notice that right away.
  2. Didn't Scott Steiner pretty much win that feud? He didn't beat Joe, but he is the one who cost him the title I believe. I wasn't watching all the time back then, so maybe I'm wrong. I liked what I saw of the two working together though. For the first time in years, I was actually impressed with Steiner's work. It really revealed just how badly WWE misused the guy.

I'm not talking about the "keep running" speed boost. I mean that I just discovered that if you do the dash attack then keep the button held down running then that gives you an instant boost right away. Forget about Crimson Helm (yes, that was very easy also), I was pissed that .
  6. I think it comes out on 11/14/06. Check out this video guys:
  7. Just don't pass judgement on it right away, and the same goes for anyone who are iffy about the new controls. I really do believe that if you guys stick it out and put in the time needed to really learn how to do everything, you'll all like these controls better than those in all of the previous SD games. You really do feel like you're in control.
  8. Yeah, you can set up a table then carry your opponent around and just slam them right through the table. Or if you want you can pick them up like you're going to do a powerbomb and then slam them into the turnbuckle, or do an Oklahoma Slam, and so on.
  9. I've just hit the point where I like the new controls better than the old way I do believe. I'm not sure why, but it just hit me all of a sudden. I love the new changes, and the "total control" moves are just awesome. There's nothing like lifting someone up for a chokeslam, then walking over to the rope and just dishing out the move over the top rope tossing the other guy out to the floor.
  10. The new controls shouldn't freak you out. Like I mentioned before, even if you don't want to use the new controls, you can still change them to how they've been before. Yeah, if anyone here is doing a fed or whatever, let me know. I've never played a wrestling game online, so this one will be my first. I never got only with my PS2, and I only just recently signed up for a year of 360 Live.
  11. How many of you guys will be picking this up for the 360? We should be making a list of everyone pretty soon.

The only way I'll ever buy a multi-platform game for the Wii is if they just do something with the controls that just totally blow me away somehow. I do think that's possible, but it's going to be very rare more than likely. The the reviews are decent to solid, I might pick up Red Steel, if only to get a taste of a FPS on the system, and hopefully for some cool battles. The game could very well totally suck though, which is why I wont pre-order it.

I hate most video game forums most of the time, ugh.

Eh, well I kept most of my games in them, and tried to really take care of them, and that almost always worked for me.

Um, no that isn't "understandable". It was poor design. Maybe not for you, but it was for me. I never had a problem with that until many years later, after games and just been sitting out in the open for a long time. I never once had that problem when it came to games I really personally took care of and kept in their cases and kept them clean.

I've been gaming since before the NES, and I've never once ever heard of any sort of mass problems for any Nintendo systems. Sure, there will be a few problems here just like there will be for any product of any kind. I'm talking about the huge problems that people like to mention when it comes to the PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. The only problem that I could even mention is the whole "blowing into the game" deal with the NES, but that's understandable all things considered. Just sayin' of course, I'm sure some had problems, but it isn't really anything worth mentioning since it's very isolated and not anywhere near the problems of other systems. The bottom line is that Nintendo produces some damn fine high quality hardware. And yeah, like you said, Nintendo is also quick to fix a problem whenever one might come up. Perhaps that's because it doesn't happen very often?

My only complaint so far is that it's just so freaking easy. I haven't died a single time, and I'm sure most of you guys haven't either. I've never even been close. Up to this point I haven't had to use any of the special power-ups at all to help in battles, not a single one. Then again, I'm only a third through the game, so maybe things get a bit harder. Right? Anyway, I don't really mind since it is such a fun game and I'm having a blast, and yes it's one of the best for the PS2 ever. I just wish it was a bit harder, since half the time I don't really feel like I've done anything all that amazing in terms of any sort of skill. Also, btw, I'm such a goof. I only just now discovered that you can get an instant speed boost by doing a dash then keeping it held down. I have no f'n idea how I only just noticed that.
  22. If MVP doesn't set the wrestling world on fire as soon as he steps into a ring (he wont), then all of this will just but total bullshit, and it could ruin this guy's career. Why are they even doing this for some totally new guy? It just doesn't make any sense to me at all. Why did Teddy Long want to sign him anyway? Why should anyone give a damn?

  24. "I've seen Jimmy Wang Yang for years!" - JBL "You've seen him for years? This is his debut!" - Cole Why the hell did they just job him???
