Rey Mysterio is Mark Henry's bitch, seriously. Isn't this the third clean victory that Henry has over Rey so far? I mean, really, holy shit. Eh, at least it's realistic, but it does tell people that Rey doesn't deserve to be champ at all. I actually marked out when Henry pinned Rey. All in all, I thought it was a decent SD.

I went to watch this tonight and there were quite a lot of people in the theater, and holy lord was it a piece of crap. To sum up the entire flick, as soon as the movie was over and the credits started to roll, one of the guys in the audience simply shouted out "Well hell..." Stay away from this one, for the sake of your sanity and your wallet. I am not exaggerating either when I say it's one of the worst flicks I've ever seen. The only "good" thing that I can say about it is that it is funny, in a bad way. It's funny in the same way that something like The Village and The Day After Tomorrow is funny. The crowd I watched it with was laughing all the way through it, and making sarcastic remarks every now and then.

From WWE.com:

That's not true at all. Here is an exact quote from the audio report where DS talks about X-Pac coming back to join DX: He then goes on to talk about how he doesn't think they should bring him in and that sort of thing.

My hard drives were dead Sunday night, so I watched the PPV just as I used to. No checking online to see what people thought, none of that shit. Just me and a few people watching the show. I enjoyed the show for the most part, other than a few stupid things here and there (Kane shit, Eugene/Striker), and I was actually shocked that so many people hated the PPV.

Shocking, ain't it?

I agree, who would want to buy a worn bra....

I'd love to see that, but only to see Cena get his ass kicked and to see how badly the fans would turn on him.

I keep hearing word about them moving Super Crazy over to RAW and moving Psicosis over to ECW. Why in the hell can't we have Super Crazy go to ECW and then have a series of matches with Tajiri!?
-
Sorry about that. Here is the list of guys mentioned: Full Time RVD Sandman Tommy Dreamer Sabu Al Snow CW Anderson Balls Mahoney Axl Rotten Jazz Francine FBI - Littel Guido & Tony Mamaluke (No big Vito as of right now) Danny Doring Roadkill CM Punk (Paul Heyman is a big fan, and he'll get a huge push in ECW) Joey Styles (Totally finished with RAW in every way, and will only deal with ECW from here on out as long as ECW is around) Paul Heyman Part Time Tanaka Tajiri Mikey Whipwreck Joel Gertner Terry Funk The point of all of this is not to live off of the past. One one hand it's to create new talent, and the second is for it to become a long term brand like RAW and SD. No word on who will be with Joey in the booth, but there is word going around on that, and will have a report on it later. Word going around is that they aren't going to do separate ECW tapings until they get an actual TV time slot, so for now I guess ECW will be taped at RAW or SD and be aired on the ECW website. Much of this is in the Observer thread, but there ya go.

Yep. Here is the report from PWInsider:

And here is more from PWInsider on this subject:

On the latest PWInsider audio DS went over a list of guys who are now locked in, and others who are coming in for dates here and there, if not full time. He also mentioned that CM Punk will have a huge role in ECW once it starts up.

I know JBL isn't the best worker, his character makes up for anything he lacks in the ring in my opinion, but to say that he can only have a good match with Benoit and maybe Finlay is pretty damn stupid. I really liked his matches with Taker, I loved his matches with Eddie and Cena, he's had one or two pretty cool matches with Mysterio, he won a six-way match a while back that was pretty entertaining, etc... There are certain guys who shouldn't work with the guy since his style is a brawling type of deal. The guy isn't a great wrestler in any sense of the word, but that doesn't mean he can't have a pretty good match with any number of workers. Hell, if I remember correctly I believe the matches he had with TBS and Angle were pretty good. The only two feuds that he's been a part of that didn't produce a good match at all would be the Boogeyman feud (come on now), and the horrible, horrible Batista feud.

What has he done in the past year or so to warrant being in, much less staying in the ME scene? That's the point. I don't see why they've ever had him be a midcard guy, or even lower at times. He just looks like a guy that should always be pushed hard. If not always in the title scene, and I'm not saying he should always have the title or always be fighting for it, then at least always in somewhat high profile angles. They have a perfectly fine main event worker, and they never hardly use the poor guy in that role.
-
I'll never understand the Booker T situation. To me, he's a guy who should almost always bee in the main event scene.

And, for what it's worth, let's not forget about Harry Smith making his debut in the next few months.

Imagine a world where Eddie Guererro wasn't dead and Batista never got hurt. Do you think they would have ever given Rey the strap? I'm starting to question that big time. I always thought they would give it to him, ever since he debuted in WWE, but now I'm not so sure. Even with Eddie and Batista being gone, there are a number of guys who I'd rather see as world champ right now. Angle, Benoit, Booker T, and I'm sure I could think of a couple more.

Holy shit! His kid looks just like Rey Mysterio!

Just want to say that I was totally wrong about Mysterio. I thought that if he won the strap that I'd be into it in a big way, and I'm not. I love the guy, I've loved his work for over a decade now, but I just don't give a shit about him being the champ. If I could have my way I'd have Mysterio back in a really hot cruiser division, putting on great matches with some of that talent, while still taking on guys like Angle in grudge match angles and the such every now and then. When I see him as champ, I just don't see a world champ. I want to really be into his run as champ, but I just can't. I hate to admit it, but I think his size is even getting in my way of accepting him as world champ...and his voice doesn't help matters at all. I've been rooting against the guy ever since he won the strap, and I can't wait to see JBL beat him. Then again, I'm a huge JBL mark as you all know so maybe that's getting in my way also. I dunno, I still like Mysterio and his work, but a credible world champ he ain't. I'm not even saying that because of the shitty way that he's been built up, but that didn't help him at all either.
