And the site is already having problems.
-
No, I bet they do that with Coach and the Spirit Squad. I forgot all about them, I bet you're right. Or heck, we might see both of them go through that.
-
Probably somebody who's been investigated for steroid use in the past. But Vince has been on RAW every week for a while now.
-
I want to see The Gymini and Simon Dean do the spot where Gymini are at ringside, and every time Deat gets toseed out they catch him, and put him back into the ring.
-
I guess the final spot will go to Taker. I can't wait to see Goldust and Hacksaw again as well.
-
If they are going to pull shit like that, I wish they would just start saying that the RR winner gets something like the Money In the Bank thing.
-
Nah, only if we have Live Sex again.
-
I can't believe they haven't been paired up any more than they have been. Also from Cawthon's site, talking about the December 2, 2000 - Rebellion match I mentioned before:
-
Angle/Orton doesn't even sound decent to me on a basic throwaway PPV, so the talk of it taking place at WM is horrible to me. There isn't even a tiny part of me that wants to see that match on that PPV. I wouldn't even want to see it if it wasn't for a title. I just don't have any want to see that match period.
-
Is the December 2, 2000 - Rebellion match the only one-on-one match between Taker and Benoit? How was that match?
-
Everyone, try to pick out all of the errors in this Wikipedia post from above: Nope - Vince McMahon won the Rumble in 1999, and he was 53 I do believe.

** 2006 WWE Televised Win-Loss Standings **

A link to the 2005 thread, and other years if we have them, would be really handy to have in the original post of this thread. -
Word going around is that Tim White is going through all of this to debut New Jack. On an upcoming show, Tim White will finally cut a promo in the middle of the ring, and proclaim that since he can't get the job done himself, he has brought in someone who can do it for sure - then out will come New Jack. My guess is that someone will come out to prevent New Jack from killing Tim White, which will then lead to White being the manager of Jack, to take on whoever it is that will interfere.

Here is an old report from 1wrestling Off the Record report, with Mick Foley: -
That shirt has been on TV for weeks and is the #1 selling WWE Shop item, and has been for quite some time now. It came out not too long after Eddie died, and they said that all the money made off of the shirts would go to Eddie's family.
-
Wow, they edited out the entire long speech by Rey Mysterio that he gave right before Mark Henry came out, where he went on, and on about Eddie being on his side, and dedicating his RR win to him.

-I wish they would bring back the original Goldust character. I loved the comedy bits as much as everyone, but the very original Goldust is one of my favorite characters ever. I hate that they aborted his push back in the day. -I can not put into words how much I hate the Mick Foley that they put on TV. Mick Foley hasn't hardly been worth anything since WM2000, with only a time or two here and there since then where I have enjoyed his work. I wish he could go back to a character like Mankind or Cactus Jack, because it is then when he is one of my personal favorites ever. It's like day and night though, how he has been on TV and his wrestling characters. Yes, when he is motivated he is fantastic, but when he is not he can be horrible. If he is motivated, and we get the good Foley, then I want to see him vs. Hogan. -I'm the biggest Hogan mark here, so I'm all for him showing up anytime, have it be in a match or not, I really don't care. -
She mainly does stuff on WWE Unlimited now, her "thing" is the Kiss Cam. Go check out the Unlimited videos if you really miss her.

The problem between Dean Visk and Ted DiBiase was covered at PWInsider the other day. They said that Visk models himself after Kerry Von Erich, and The Ultimate Warrior, and DiBiase came to him and told him to get over Warrior, because the only reason he was ever popular was because of guys like himself, who made him look good. He went on saying that style wouldn't cut it, etc..., and that he needed to change how he looks at his work in the ring. However, Visk then either refused to change in the ring, or actually said something to someone about how DiBiase was wrong, and that pissed Dibiase off, and it eventually led to his release. -

I'd rather Foley never come back again if he keeps coming back like he did last time. I'm sick of the guy, and all of his unmotivated work, and I'm talking about both on the stick and in the ring. That feud with Carlito was horrible, and it was not just Carlito's fault. I'd love to see him come back as a heel, and as the same guy that he was years ago (I'm not even talking about him taking huge bumps, it's not about that), God knows I would. -

I don't think hardly anyone would call Henry a good/great worker. It is however pretty obvious that he has improved, and he's really proving that he's worth "something" right now. To me, it's obvious that he's decided to really bust his ass, since his contract runs out later this year. I've enjoyed his work since he recently showed up. I'm really, really shocked that I'm saying that also, but it's true. He's not great, but he's a hell of a lot better than he's been throughout most of his career. -
Since 1993, I have not missed a Royal Rumble, so I just went ahead and placed the order for it on Dish Network. I believe that if I had put it off, I was possibly going to change my mind about buying this show. Here are my wants/predictions: Who I Want To Win: -The 2006 Royal Rumble Match To be honest, I don't have a single guy that I want to win. I'd be happy with RVD, Benoit, Rey, or even Chavo Taker or HBK. As long as Randy Orton or HHH do not win, I'll be happy. -WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena I'll be pulling for Edge for sure. For the love of God, do not just put the title back on Cena. -World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry I think that just about everyone wants Kurt Angle to win, and I'm no different. -The Boogeyman vs. JBL Does it really matter? I like The Boogeyman in a very weird way, but I'm a huge JBL mark. I'll be pulling for JBL in this one. -Mickie James vs. Ashley - Trish Stratus as special guest referee I want to see Trish turn heel and help Mickie James pick up the win. I don't really know why they would do this, but whatever. What I Think WWE Will Do -The 2006 Royal Rumble Match Ok, I don't think HHH or TBS will even matter in this match, since I see those two guys being eliminated because of one another. I don't see them giving Benoit another win here, so count him out. We all know RVD's history, so why in the world would they have him come back and instantly win the RR? I do however think they want the finish of the Rumble to be special, yet again. I see them actually giving the win in this one to Rey Mysterio. However, I think he'll lose his title shot in a match to Randy Orton, which will the put him in the Wrestlemania title match instead. I think the final four will be Rey, Chavo, Orton, and RVD. -WWE Champion Edge vs. John Cena Since Cena lost the title to Edge, the main event storyline has been a lot more interesting, ratings are up, and both Edge and Cena have really improved overall. I see Edge beating Cena and heading to WM as the champ, with a face trying to finally beat him there. I just don't think WWE would go back to how it was before, with Cena as champ...at least not anytime soon. -World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle vs. Mark Henry There is no way in hell that Mark Henry is going to win the title, period. -The Boogeyman vs. JBL I think they'll actually give Boogey a big win over JBL here, but I really don't see the point in it unless it's leading to a Boogey/Taker match down the road. I don't think the job will hurt JBL either, since it's all so stupid anyway. -Mickie James vs. Ashley - Trish Stratus as special guest referee Blah, I think Mickie will win, but it'll be pretty clean and Trish calls it down the middle. The storyline is going to continue, and isn't going to end or really evolve that much at all at the PPV. Because of Trish counting the pin, Mickie will look at it like Trish did it for her and will continue to be crazy over her, and Ashley will continue to show signs of being really pissed at Trish because of what Mickie is doing. To me, this is leading to a 3-way match at WM for the title, or at least on a RAW before then.

Snitskymark, you are totally wrong. Alrighty, here we go... The above is not true. That is not what they were saying at all. I have no idea how you got that out of what they said, unless you just weren't listening at all hardly: That part is true, they did report that in one of their latest audio shows. However, here is what they went on to say: They were talking about why CM Punk is not on the main roster yet, and it went like this: -WWE creative have been coming up with a ton of ides for CM Punk to make him a part of the main WWE roster, however... -Stephanie's nickname for CM Punk is "King of the Indies". That is her attitude towards him. -She has given him that nickname, because she doesn't think that he is on the WWE level right now, and that he is not ready for the main roster. -She wants to keep him down where he is now, until he can fit in with the WWE style. I'm listening to it right now, once again, just to confirm what I'm saying is true.
