  1. Yes, it's been very good. Most will say it has sucked though, but fuck em.
  2. Holy shit. They better be paying Ric Flair a hell of a lot for him to do this match. This is insane.
  3. She'll turn on him and then claim that Edge is the father of her unborn child. OMG!!! God, I love when Flair really gets into it and just goes crazy selling in the ring. It's always been fantastic.
  4. Make that October. That's when we got that fucked up RAW with Goldust, Vader, etc...
  5. It wouldn't shock me at all to see Cena help Flair win this match. *prepares to possibly mark out*
  6. *holds envelope to forehead* Three words we never thought we'd hear on RAW again. *opens envelope* "Shelton wins again!"
  7. Why are we perfectly hearing everything they are saying? A bit odd.
  8. Murdoch is now saying that incest is good for people, but not for dogs. And he took a sack full of puppies and beat them on a rock. Saying it was torture for him, like in Hostel (I think that's what he said).
  9. People ask me why I still watch WWE. That match is one of my reasons.
  10. This RAW has been some hot shit so far. It's too bad that it can only be downhill from here though.
  11. Watch HBK lose tonight, then sign a contract with SD.
  12. Kurt Angle is cutting one hell of a promo right now, holy shit.
  13. I predict the ratings will be less than they were last week, and on par with what they were the week before "live sex".

Fight Night Round 3 is perfectly fine when you actually learn how to play it. It's very slow at first, and doesn't seem like much, but once you sit down with it and get into it, you get a feel for how to fight and you can start blasting away punching very fast. I'm sure the speed will be picked up, at least a little bit, for the final version of the game. I've completed all of the achievements for Madden 06 (I cheated and simulated most of the 30 season thing), but I haven't went online with that yet. I beat CoD2 on the default difficulty setting, and just started going through it on the veteran setting, which is an absolute bitch, but it's very fun. I bought PG3, but I don't really know why. I don't really like normal racing games like this, so it's really a waste with me. It was an impulse buy just because it was one of the cheaper games, and I wanted something else to play on the system. I'll more than likely trade that game pretty soon. Any of you guys up for a trade for that one? Geometry Wars rules though, that's one insane game. I bought the full version and did the 100,000 points and the 60 seconds without shooting achievements pretty quickly, but I seriously suck at that game. Now I'm just waiting for the next wave of games. I might end up buying Kameo for cheap, but other than that, there really isn't anything else I want to own right now. The system is worth buying, obviously, but there isn't really a reason to be in a rush to own one right now. Don't do something crazy out of impulse, and wait a month or two for the next wave of games. To me, the premium system is also the only way to go. To get all that you can out of the 360, you need the wireless controller, hard drive, and everything else. That's my advice.
  16. I just got finished watching the PPV, after downloading it. Had I bought this show, I would have been pissed about a few things, but I'm not sure if I would have thought it was a waste of money. Sitting here though, I'd have to say that's pretty much how I'd feel. A few quick thoughts: -Sean Waltman almost had his career ended, so he's very lucky that didn't happen. That was a very sick bump he took going off of the stage, and it could have ended up really hurting the guy. -I don't really have much against Larry Zbysko, but oh my God I hate him in his role right now. He looks horrible, he acts like he can't decide what to say half the time, and it's just horrible work all around. The ending where Raven was leaving was just plain bad. -Jackie Gayda was even worse in that same segment. Talk about nails on a chalkboard. Her acting there was horrible. -Joe/Daniels was awesome - the finish was very lame. Didn't Styles technically throw in Joe's towel? Wouldn't that, in theory, make Daniels the winner? It's not like Daniels and Styles are best friends forever or something on the show. It just didn't make any sense to me. Why didn't they just have the Ref stop the fight, have Joe refuse to stop beating the hell out of Daniels, then have AJ do a run-in to make the save? -I liked the 3D/AMW match, but the ending was just about the most horrible ending to any match in the history of all that is pro wrestling. I'm not even going to comment on it any more than that. -Many people complain about BG James, but he cut an awesome promo in the back, it seemed just about real. I don't remember the guy being that good on the stick. -But then they have a match with the DitR? I don't see how they could focus on anything knowing that Konan and the others were in the same building as them. Instead they go from a fantastic promo, to just doing their normal deal. -I enjoyed the main event. I'm a blind WCW mark, and that translates into my love for Sting. He did look great in there, especially for his age. He didn't really do much other than his normal spots (some of those were even missing), but he didn't need to do a lot in this match. Let's save that for some one on one matches. He looked fine though, and the rest of the match was decent as well. I thought for sure that Christian would pick up the pin on JJ, but oh well. I guess it's fitting for Sting to be the very focus in his first "return" match. -The moment of the night to me was the fans chanting "HE'S STILL GOT IT!" after Sting's first burst of offense. It felt very sincere, and I really felt good for Sting right there. It was one of those few truly special moments in wrestling to me. -Overall, most of the action in the ring was absolutely fine, but almost every match had a horrible finish. Who are the masterminds behind the actual finishes anyway? Especially the title matches and main events. I'm so sick and tired of overbooked main event finishes in TNA. I know it's nothing new, but still, it's about my least favorite part of the entire TNA product.
  17. Fuck a wrestler's age, that's always been my line of thinking. As long as they can entertain me, and as long as they can go in the ring, I don't care how old someone is. Hasn't Finlay been wrestling since the very early 80's, if not the late 70's? I think his debut was back in '78. I have a good feeling about Finlay. I've been a fan of his for years, so I'm excited about seeing him get in there with Benoit, Angle, Regal, etc... I could even see them eventually give him an on air role as a manager/coach for a stable.
  18. What were his numbers when those ratings were releases that told how many viewers were lost/gained for certain guys?
  19. You can buy this at Target for $59.99, so keep that in mind (and go buy it damnit). My cousin picked it up at the Anderson, SC store Friday night. NOTE: The game was not over with the other PS2 stuff, or with any of the other video game stuff either for that matter. All six were on a shelf, two rows of three. They were on the other side of a shelf that had the Atari systems on it, in the same section with the CD players and all of that. If you don't see this game right with the video games, then keep looking around the electronics department. We almost left before we found them. Matt, I tried to PM you, but it says that either your box is full or you have PMs turned off.
  20. I'm no HHH basher, I actually like the guy, but I couldn't help but laugh at what it says about him:
  21. Yeah, we're not talking about building WWE around him. Even I think that would be foolish. I just think it would be cool to see, and it would pretty much guarantee us some fantastic main events.
  22. Chicago's punter is having a fantastic day.
  23. Oh God, I thought for sure we were going to get another bullshit call right there.
  24. Yeah, Carolina can win this game. That Chicago defense has been a bitch so far today.
  25. They could've put the belt on Benoit that very night on Smackdown. They could've still done the program with Booker T/Orton, and had the same finish to that match, then in the main event Benoit could have been in the battle royal (maybe even being the first guy in) and win the world title. It would have had the same feel as Wrestlemania X, where Bret Hart lost to Owen early in the night, then went on to win the WWF championship later that night. I loved seeing Angle come to SD and win like that, I really did. But it just seemed like a rush job to me. When WWE has their back against the wall, they do stuff like this out of nowhere instead of actually thinking the situation through. Why not have Benoit win the title, then have Angle make his way to SD the next SD after the Angle/HBK match? Now when it comes to Rey, I've been behind him becoming the champion for quite a while now. It would be very easy to do as well. He wouldn't have to be in there beating guys like Batista or Taker either. I would love to see a world title feud with Rey taking on a guy like HBK, Angle, and as I've said over and over and over again, Benoit. If Rey ever won the title, the pop would be unreal. The fans would just go insane over his title win. The guy sells tons of merchandise also, so to me it seems like a good decision. I wouldn't let him hold it for too long, but having him holding the title for a few months taking on guys that we know he can work well with would be fantastic. I still think it will happen one day.
