  1. I think we need to have a funraiser for all of us here at TSM. The footage of these hurricanes has brought many of us down I'm sure. This latest episode of The Office was just about my favorite so far.
  2. "Because I like to, and, I think it's funny."
  3. I don't totally remember, but did Jack in fact get married to Sarah? If so, have they explained why they got a divorce as of yet? Whoever or whatever has power over the island can help and hurt people, just how Locke was allowed to walk again...then how it was almost taken from him. Maybe part of a backstory that we do not know about yet is that Sarah's ability to walk was taken from her at some point in time, leading to her and Jack's breakup. I think Desmond has something to do with that possible backstory, which would explain why Jack knew who he was so well. I'm just waiting for Locke to revel his secret to Jack, that will be fun. Everything is going to go full circle with those two. Obviously Jack tries to explain all of this using science, and Locke explains it all using faith, thus Man of Science, Man of Faith.
  4. His commentary is not included for the match.
  5. I got my Suspiria LE in the mail yesterday, a great deal. The rest of my stuff should be here any day now.
  6. Whoaaa... That's worth seeing. Hogan isn't one to go around admitting mistakes and weaknesses. Or does he blame someone else for it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He totally admits that it was his fault, and that his own screwup fucked the match up. Everyone totally bashes that match, even Bishoff and Hogan himself, it's great to see.
  7. I'm sure any number of martial arts films, and certain action films, show them for real. I've seen it many times, but I can't name any specific films off hand. But, wow, this is one weird topic.
  8. The first time I saw Kennedy, I knew he was going to go all the way. The only thing that's going to keep him from reaching the top is his self, and from what I hear, that isn't going to be a problem at all. It's about time we had a new star who I actually cared about, and who looked like someone who could really be a major player.

    HOSTEL

    That's an awesome review, thanks.
  10. I found an easter egg: Go to the extras menu, then go to Warrior University and press right two times: -It's the "Choose the path of the Warrior, The Journy Begins..." commercial about the blind black guy and another guy who almost ripped him off, but decided not to. That's the only one I see on this DVD.
  11. I find it weird seeing Mean Gene, Heenan, the wrestlers in WWE now, Vince, and everyone else just blantly saying that most of Warrior's matches just flat out sucked and painful to watch. I especially loved Mean Gene talking about Warrior's matches with Hercules. I can just imagine in 10-20 years time seeing people looking back on the past few years and talking about some of the recently horrible bouts. One of my favorite quotes from the DVD, it's not exact but you get the idea: "We had to change his name. I mean, a DINGO Warrior? No one hardly knew what a dingo was in the first place, much less a dingo WARRIOR."
  12. Well, I've added My Name Is Earl to the short, but growing, list of TV shows that I actually watch every week. Here were my favorite parts: -"Yeah he's gay, but he aint gonna bite me...He aint gonne bite me is he?" -"I know this might sound crazy in this day and age, but we live in a small town and I've never been face to face with a gay before. I understand now the runnin' probably wasn't necessary." -"Oh no you didn't! Tell me you didn't just go old school!" -"I didn't wanna be the only non-gay there so, luckily Randy agreed to go as soon as he heard there were gonna be bubbles." -"...so we named him Dodge." Jason Lee is awesome on this show, Jaime Pressley is perfect for her role, the maid is fucking smokin', and the brother is awesome. This one is a keeper in my book.
  13. I watched every single thing on this DVD last night, except for any possible easter eggs. Here are my favorite parts of the main feature: -Talking about where "Parts Unknown" is located. -The Ultimate Warrior interview showcase part of the show. -Anything that Heenan or Mean Gene had to say! I loved hearing him tell the story about the Andre incident. -Hogan talking about his match with Warrior at Halloween Havoc '98, including talking about, and really pointing out (even in slow motion), the fireball fuckup. I thought it was a great DVD, that didn't really say much of anything new, but it's all pretty much true. We've heard most, if not all, of what the wrestlers and guys say from other people like Meltzer over the years. At times while watching it, I just sat back and looked at it amazed. I couldn't believe that this was something that WWE actually put together, it's very weird. It's not all bad either, most everyone pointed out some positives of the guy as well. I don't think Heenan ever did though, he just based the shit ouf of the guy. The Brain is still, and forever will be, gold! I still say pick this DVD up, it was well worth it to me.
  14. I'd put the match he had with Scott Hall that same night (the one that where if he won he could get the title match in the first place) on the DVD as well, just to help build up that entre, and the main event. His title win in WWE would be needed on the DVD also. I'd also include some of his work with Bret Hart, especially the iron plate under the jersey angle. I know it makes Goldberg look stupid, but I'd love to see it on a Goldberg DVD. You could do a doube disc set for Goldberg very easily. One of the bonus features could be a quick video showing him winning all of the matches in his streak or something, of course staring with where he put down Hugh and then looked into the camera and said "that's number one", or whatever it was exactly. Anyway, the entire point to own this Warrior DVD is for the main feature, and it is really worth it if you care about the guy at all, either in a good light or bad. I really can't wait for the Roberts DVD now, the main feature on that one is going to be one of the best I bet.
  15. I never had a problem with the guy in the business itself. When I was younger I was a huge fan, and even when he went back to WWE that last time and even when he went to WCW, I couldn't help but mark out for the guy since I liked him so much at one time. He was a part of two of my favorite oldschoo matches, both of which are on this DVD, and I also liked some of his other matches. I only started to mock the guy after we all started to see how he was in reality, how he beleived that he really was the character, coming up with something of almost a religion based on himself. I mean, come on, THE COMIC BOOK, heh. The guy is a moron, and even though I liked him in the ring, I can still say that proudly. He's not the kind of moron I'd like to see go away though. I get a kick out of his unintentional comedy. The world needs people like that, just for the laughs. As far as Warrior being better than Goldberg in the ring: Had Goldberg been pushed the right way, and booked differently, and put in matches with the right guys, I still believe we could have seen some truly solid matches involving the guy. We got bits and pieces now and then, like in his matches with DDP, etc... but they never really let him get that far. They thought of him as only a monster, so that is how he was booked. Goldberg had enough talent, and in ring charisma, that he could have had more historic matches than he did. I've seen guys a lot worse than Goldberg in the ring go a lot longer and do a lot more than he ever did. If you want to talk about a connection to the fans, Goldberg could equal Warrior in that department, if not beat him out. I'd say at Goldberg's height, he was a lot more ove than Warrior ever was.
  16. It may be trip, but it's fucking fantastic tripe. I'm having a ball watching it so far.
  17. I haven't kept up with the release date, so when I went to my dvdaficionado list to add it to my collection, I saw that it wasn't supposed to be released until next Tuesday. If you want it early, then check out your local WalMart. I'll try to watch the main feature tonight sometime, after checking out the matches.
  18. I just picked this DVD up at WalMart for $13.xx, so surely I'm not the only one.

    HOSTEL

Count me in the "loved Cabin Fever" group, that movie gets hated on way too much in my eyes. I can't wait for Hostel, it looks great. I saw a preview for it in a magazine also, but I don't remember which one. The pictures really made me want to see it that much more. Maybe we'll get lucky and the DVD for Hostel will be just as great as the Cabin Fever one also.
  20. I think he'll win it also. I know it would be retarded, but if he does they have about a million different things they could do with it.
  21. I can't believe this, but I just fucking loved that match! I actually enjoyed most of this entire RAW, so I'm very happy tonight.
  22. What about the tag team titles? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's not even close to being the same... Him coming out to his music, alone, a single title, ya know?
  23. Fuck what everyone else thinks, and I know that Flair doesn't technically need that belt, but damn it's been too long since I've been able to see him remove the robe and a title be underneath! Woooooooooooooo!!!
  24. Damn you.
  25. Holy shit what a DDT...
