I know that Scrub's doesn't really belong in this topic as a whole since it's just about drama/comedy week after week (best show ever to mix the two in my opinion), but I MUST mention the episode "My Screw Up". I'm also happy to see people mention the Will Smith thing.

I'm so WWE's bitch. I'll buy all of these DVDs without even thinking twice about it.

I'd like to know this also nl5xsk1. What you posted before didn't make a lick of sense to me. We must know totally different "skinheads", or we are thinking of a totally different thing.

We don't know if they punished her or not, and if they did...in what way. That wasn't important enough to dwell on to me, it wasn't the plot point that was to be focused on. All we know is that Maggie got beat down, and she didn't defeat her opponent to win the title from her. With Maggie being totally out, they couldn't just give it to her either could they? I just don't see what the big deal is here. -
The ending to that match was one of the hardest things to watch in recent memory. Here is what I think went down. -As Benoit came down from the top, Hassan was supposed to move the bell so that Benoit "hit" it. He was NOT supposed to keep on fucking hugging it all day long. -We pretty much know that is what was supposed to happen, since JR tried his ass off to get us to believe that Benoit did hit the bell, when in fact he totally missed it, it wasn't even close, Hassan was hugging it in his arms the entire time. -From what I could tell, Hassan was supposed pick up a pinfall victory over Benoit in that match, when Benoit hit the bell, it was going to knock him out. -Hassan went ahead with the planned finish, but Benoi went ahead and kicked out. He didn't want the entire world to see him getting pinned just because he hit his headbutt. That would have made Benoit look like the world's biggest pussy in the ring. Benoit knew that he couldn't be pinned right then and there, because Hassan fucked up the finish...so Benoit, on his own, kicked out. Both Hassan and the ref looked seriously shocked that he did so. -As soon as Benoit kicked out and got back up, you can see him getting close to Hassan, talking to him...more than likely about what they need to do for a new finish. Everything after Benoit kicked out looked like it was just made up on the fly. -When Hassan went for the low blow, the ref looked as if he didn't know if he should go for the DQ or not, but we all know how it ended. It was an ugly mess, Hassan fucked the entire thing up. Thank God he was in there with someone like Benoit who knew that something had to be done.

Yep, I like Katie Holmes a lot, as well as Dominique Swain. Especially Homes though, she was great in Pieces of April, a highly underrated film in my view. I know many critics liked it, but you hardly ever hear people talk about that on in conversations about film. I've met very few people in real life who have ever seen it. -

The foreign films nominated were fine, but it is a sin that we didn't have HoFD or AVLE in there. Engagement is an outstanding film, I can't wait to own the DVD! Audrey Tautou, oh yes... -

If only they could allow two more to be added to the race. Both of those guys deserved nominations, but there were quite a few great male lead performances this year. Still, even if they were in there with the other guys, they wouldn't have beat out Jamie Foxx. Just as I predicted the MOMENT I saw the trailer for Ray, he did indeed get nominated, and then eventually won for best actor. It was something that we just couldn't get around. http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...=58729&hl=jamie -

Clementine is my favorite female character EVER put to film. Nothing else can even touch that character. -

I bet that's true, but it wasn't me! I purposesly didn't read Ebert's reviews for the films I thought would be nominated for best picture. I'm going to do so later tonight though. All I know is that he freaking loves the flick, because I saw him for just a minute on Conan the other night...and most of that interview was about his porn lovin'. -

Because that aspect of his life is one of the most talked about, most well known. The film should have been just a tad bit longer, adding in a few more scenes that dealt with the accusations. It would have helped the overall story in my opinion, added much more tension to certain parts of the movie. Either way though, FN is a f'n great film also. -

M$B is NOT a "chick boxing" film...it's an emotional, dramatic story of many different layers, that just happens to have boxing as one part of the story. You could replace the boxing with any number of sports, or many other jobs, and it still would have been a fantastic film. -

ESotSM is my personal favorite film of all time, period, but never in a million years would I suggest that it should have beaten M$B for Best Picture. M$B is the best american film from the past five years, if not longer...I'll have to see it a few more times to decide. Every aspect of it is outstanding, in a very deep way. The film has a ton of layers that you can't even see on one viewing alone. As far as I'm concerned, the Academy nailed it tonight. Everything felt "right", like the films and the such that DESERVED to win, did actually pick up the awards. Clint did an outstanding job on M$B, one of the best directing jobs of all time. Martin will pick up the award one day, but he didn't deserve it this year, he just flat out didn't. I want Martin to win one because he deserves it for the film he works on in that year, not because they are giving him a charity award...for his entire body of work. I never agree with that. The only award I don't totally agree with is giving best actress to Swank. I would have voted for Winslet over Swank, just because I think Kate had to do more work, get more into the character, than Swank had to. I could have seen a number of actresses in Swank's place...but I can't say the same thing for Winslet. She owned that character, it was made for her. Still, I can't totally go against Swank, she did do a great job, which is why I'm not really pissed over that one. -
Well it's not like he had a huge part in that film anyway. I can see why people wouldn't even remember him being in that flick.

Anyone order from deepdiscountdvd.com ?
Downhome replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
I order from them a lot. I buy pretty much all of the wrestling DVDs from DDD, and I go wild over the 20% off sales. I just placed an order for this item last night actually. You really can't go wrong with this price. http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/dvd.cfm?itemID=IMA002155 -
When WWE had WrestleMania 2000, they had a special that started at 12pm that Sunday, and it didn't end until the PPV went off at around 12am that night. Me and my cousin ordered the all day pass, and we watched (and recorded) every single second of it.
-
If we're not just talking DISNEY DTV sequels, then I could think of more than a couple.
-
Was The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride DTV? If so, that one is OK. It was not necessary, but it was ok.
-
Oh boy, a feud no one will ever care about!

My God that was an awesome thing to start this show with!

I love reading this sort of topic...thanks.

Is the backstory very important when watching CSI, or could I just jump right in for this episode and still "get" everything?

I'm sure HHH is in his mid-to-late 30s. Yep, HHH still has two more decades to go before he's finished.
