That's just another reason I am not too fond of him now, I hate that pose. It's more laughable a pose than Kamala's in my eyes.

Awwww, Shannon Moore is still a little MFer at heart...taking the hit for Matt.

Ha, Metal Gear: Acid only got a 6.5 at IGN. http://psp.ign.com/articles/597/597863p1.html

Check this out, from the latest GameInformer. Please note that only the three smaller pictures on the bottom of the first scan is screenshots from THIS generation. The others are a look at what it may look like on the next-gen consoles, but they still give you an idea about what this game will be like. Click on the thumbnails to see the full image:

Many may have just started to like the guy, but the moment I saw him debut I knew that he was going to go all the way. I even wrote something on Batista, and his future, not too long after I first saw him debut. He's simply "got it", I knew it from the start.

Same here. I don't think the streak should ever end, for the reasons I stated earlier in the thread. It's not because I'm a Taker mark, it's just because it's one of the few things that still mean something in WWE. However, if they decided for some reason to end it, I would be more OK with it if it was Edge, even though I hate the guy. If someone does do it, it should be someone who would go on to be a huge superstar for years to come, without a doubt. Someone like an Austin or a Rocky. If Taker had had a WM streak like this, back when Austin and Rocky were just starting to bust out into superstars, then I would have been OK with them doing so. There simply isn't anyone around who is on that level, there isn't really a "right guy" to feed something that important. Like someone said, IF Taker finally jobs at a WM, it should be on the level of Hogan defeating Andre. Orton is not on that level, Edge is not on that level, no one is on that sort of level. There are only a few people, who are currently in WWE, who I could see reaching that point: -John Cena (I hate the guy, but he is over. The only problem here is that I don't think he'll be able to keep everything he has going for him right now up, he's already getting stale in my eyes. Besides, can you see Taker falling to that shitty FU?) -Eddie Guerrero (If worked just right, Eddie could reach a level that few people ever do. It wont happen, but it's more possible than an Orton or Edge.) -The Big Show (This guy has been around for a while, but he's still young. Again, given the right push, he could be the sort of monster and gimmick that people would actually buy as the one who ended Taker's streak. It wouldn't be able to happen now, or even months from now, but it would be possible.) -Batista (This guy is the next Goldberg in terms of being over. I don't care what any of you say, this guy is over now...and he's going to be over from here on out. The only thing that can hurt him now is a VERY shitty angle or a major injury. If WWE played their cards right, and had him face Taker next year, I'd be more than OK with Batista taking out Taker.) -Chris Jericho (This is a lot like Eddie in my eyes. He could reach that level, but it will never happen.) There are others who I'd like to mention like Angle and Kane, but those wouldn't work for a million reasons. Kurt Angle looks like he's already heading towards the end of his career, so that is out. As for Kane, he is the logical choice to be the guy to end Taker's streak. He's Taker's "brother", they have a long history together, and who better to take out the Dead Man than another of the same kind, another sort of monster. But they've shit all over that one too many times. No one would ever buy Kane ending Taker's streak anymore. My pick would be Batista if I had to pick someone though. If I had to pick someone to end the streak, who I feel is able to rise to the level that would be needed, yeah, he'd be the pony that I'd bet on. I'd have him win the title, and just power over everyone he faces. Then, finally, Taker steps up to try and stop Batista. However, Batista is able to defeat Taker in "the biggest match of his career". It'd be something like Hogan defeating Andre. The new champion defeating the monster, the giant, the legend, proving once and for all that his time is over, and a new time has begun.

Is it a nice life in fantasy dream land?

Taker's WM streak is one of those things that just shouldn't be broken. He should end his career undefeated at WM. It's more than just a number to me, it's one of the few things in wrestling that has a true meaning anymore. For them to put Orton over Taker at WM, it shits on one of the only things that is "pure" in WWE anymore. How many titles someone has had doesn't really mean shit anymore. The length of a reign doesn't mean anything anymore really. Hell, even being a champ doesn't mean as much as it did, especially the lesser titles. Let this stay around, there is nothing to be gained from it ending.

Well, now that he's an all out heel again, I'd laugh my ass off if HHH and Flair just picked HIM to be that new member of Evolution.
-
I didn't think it was that great either. If HHH really wants to show up Batista, he should show a video of Batista being D-Von Dudley's "Decon", holding that case, and then play up that Batista was nothing before HHH. I'd enjoy that.

You should have titled this thread, simply, "You talkin' to me?". I loved that one, my favorite so far.
-
I also really like films like Airplane, Naked Gun, etc... so that might be another reason why I like this show.
-
I really like The Sketch Show. It's something like a mix of Laugh-In and Flying Circus. I love the quick sketches. If one doesn't work, that's ok, they jump right into another one. Almost all of them, if not all of them, have a punch line at the end, instead of like on SNL where their sketches seemingly just end for no reason, with no purpose, etc...

I think we'll see Hassan at the HoF thing. We have Hogan's part being televised that night, so I think they are actually going to have an angle play out on that program, where Hassan shows up, and challenges Hogan to a match for the next night at WrestleMania. Having Hogan's induction televised is the perfect opportunity for them to set up that match, which could get quite a few more people to order the big show the following night.

In the latest issue of NP, they say that Katamari Damacy DS is on the way! Also coming soon to the DS is 007: Rogue Agent and Age Of Empires II: Age of Kings. Here are screens from those last two games, but it's pretty low quality:
-
Well, there IS a reason this flick only has 26% at RottenTomatoes and a 5.5/10 at IMDB.
-
That's a good way to put it...just not even a GOOD parody. For my thoughts on the stinkfest that was The Grudge, dig up the old thread on that one.

Oh Jesus, that was one of the most anticlimatic scenes in the history of film. I felt like literally standing up and screaming at the screen when that happened. This film filled me with unmeasurable rage. I wanted to scream right back, ugh... This is me, DOWNHOME of all people, saying this. This film made me instantly not care at all about the upcoming Dark Water. All excitement I had for that one went down into the well with Samara. EDIT: Also let me say, the first scene of the film, that's when I knew this one was going to suck a load. From there on out, it was all down hill.
-
I could shit a better movie than Ring 2. I can't believe just how much it sucked, since I enjoyed the first one. I mean, I hated this one AS MUCH, or even more than, The Grudge. I cringe just thinking about how much I hated Ring 2. OMG ATTACK OF THE KILLER REINDEER~!!!!!!!! As bad as the movie was, that scene was one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life. I kept thinking of: Tommy Boy! When the highlight of a HORROR film is the above, what does that say?
-
It also has one of the best "final scene/shots" in recent memory. It wasn't really "scary" to me, just more f'd up in my mind. Get the two-disc R2 DVD set of the film, it's a great DVD set, and you can get it for around $8.
-
The American release of The Grudge is nothing more than a pile of horse shit. Flies wont even touch that shit in my mind, that's how little I think of that flick. Here are three from me, off the top of my head: Halloween (For some reason this film still makes me more paranoid than any other horror flick. Even after watching it a million times, it still makes me look over my shoulder after I finish watching it.) NoES (I think this has to do with my seeing it when I was very young, but the same could be said about all three of these picks. Seeing that girl be dragged up the wall and onto the ceiling, I'll never forget that.) TCM (The original, of course. Just the overall feel of this one does it to me. So gritty, so real. The debut of LF is one of the most disturbing scenes ever to me.) Then I have to mention The Eye, which has the single scene/moment that sent shock/fear through me unlike any other.

Amen to that. From where I sit, it was a flat out solid and exciting match. I really hate many of these new people that WWE has brought in, and I couldn't care less about them when they wrestle. Luther Reigns vs. Jindrak? Who gives a fuck? I love those exciting moments, like when Regal/Tajiri won the straps in Japan. Those solid matches like HHH/Benoit from this past RAW. The things you never thought you'd see, like the reunion of The Rockers. And yes, those matches that come from out of nowhere to shock the hell out of you, and ends up producing some quality...like MJ/Angle. The moment that I realized that WWE had me believing that MJ just MIGHT pull it off, I knew that I was watching something that was working. I knew MJ wasn't really going to win, but I was so caught up in the build of the match, the emotion, that I in turn became a total mark, if only for that one match. That is one of the things that WWE doesn't do nearly enough. They don't produce enough of those moments, where they turn the "smarks", back into the mark...without them even knowing it's really happening. Like I've said before, it's why I put up with all of the shit. Sooner or later, you'll become a mark all over again, if only for a single match.

Maybe HBK will just toss him through another window then.
