I have never, in all of my years of watching film, felt an emotional bond between myself and a film. The subject matter between the father and the son, it just really felt really good, I loved it.
Spoiler (Highlight to Read):
The ending sequence, where the son finally cemented his bond with his father, finally understood why he told so many stories over so many years and the way he did it, and how the son BECAME his father in a sense by finally telling a story, of how his father really passes away, just wow. That has got to be the saddest scene that I've ever seen in a film ever. It wasn't just a part of it, it was just great. It was a feeling of both saddness and just being very happy, I loved it.
