  1. Yuck yuck, RotK will beat Titanic's record, I just know it~! I can't believe so many thought it would happen, it didn't have a shot.
  2. I know it will not happen, but if Ultimo Dragon just happened so someone win that battle royal, it would be one of my favorite parts of the PPV.
  3. I was going to post my 10,000 post in this thread just for the heck of it, but, ya know.
  4. My least favorite thing about WC is that you are not allowed, in any shape or form, to ask about any specific matches on DVD unless the WC store sells the item you are talking about. You are not allowed to, say, ask what DVD or tape has a certain match on it (like Dynamite vs. Benoit), you are not allowed to talk about any WWE DVDs, you are not allowed to talk about ANYTHING that they don't sell personally. I can't begin to tell you how many times I've had a spat with those morons over this same issue. Just go to the site, and do a search for the word "DVD" or something in the subject title. Every topic that is asking about where to buy something, specific details, or what they thought of whatever tape/DVD is either locked or has been locked. Just check out the following threads if you don't want to search... http://wrestlingclassics.com/cgi-bin/.ubbc...t=044051#000000 http://wrestlingclassics.com/cgi-bin/.ubbc...ic;f=1;t=042666 ...ugh. I just love this part, posted by Mark Nulty... ...that's just wonderfull, such a class act he is.
  5. To to this page on WWE.com to see what bars and the such near you air their PPVs legally. http://www.wwe.com/ppv/blastarea/
  6. Everyone, click here to read about it and to watch the trailer. I'm just about to do so myself.
  7. I think it aired on ABC.
  8. *marks out again* It was called Re-Boot, and I'd buy it on DVD if I could...I loved that freaking show.
  9. *marks out*
  10. You are in denial if you honeslty do not see your frightening obsession with male homosexuality.
  11. That pertains to this topic of discussion.....how? Because, UPN is going to make a crap show, and you have a crap sig. Seriously, it's disturbing. You need help. Or friends. One or the other. I second this. I'll check out the show, just because I'm currious.
  12. Gee, ya think?
  13. This just can't happen, it would kill Benoit's heat and re-establish him as a loser. Look at what happened to Goldberg: The fans at Summerslam were RABID for him to win...the fans at Unforgiven didn't give a shit. You have to strike while the iron's hot, and holding it off one more month will just kill things for me. Why can't HHH ever lose first? 1) In the buildup to the first match, build up HHH as a coward, doing everything he can to stay away from Benoit. 2) When they finally meet in the ring, have HHH just BARELY defeat Benoit, be D/Q, get counted out, or just something like that. Anything to build up that HHH is worried about Benoit, and fearfull that he is going to loose his precious World Title to him. 3) When they finally meet again, make it a straight up one-on-one match, the match to determine who is actually the best performer of the two. Ban everyone from ringside, make it so that HHH can not get counted out or D/Q, and in the end have Benoit come out on top, cleanly...finally, once and for all. I promise you that the fans would be so excited for the moment that Benoit finally defeated HHH cleanly for the title, it would be amazing.
  14. Then don't have it be built up that Benoit did it himself then. Build up something where you show Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar actually being somewhat afraid of Benoit through their actions, which leads to an actual official "trade" or contract buyout between RAW and Smackdown. Have Bishoff say that he doesn't want Benoit on RAW either, but then have Austin get in the way and say something like "I'm the sheriff and I'm for what's BEST for RAW, and the best thing that could happen to fix the slump this show is in is Chris Benoit". Build it up so that HHH actually acts afraid, doesn't actually say it, but through his actions he shows that he doesn't want Benoit on the show seeing how deep down he feels that Benoit could be a guy to topple him. You can make Benoit seem important, very important, by going to RAW. I'll agree, if it's done he MUST win the title eventually, within just a few weeks or very few months, but it would work. I'd even be ok with HHH defeating Benoit once, with help from others, only to build towards a much bigger and much more important match where there "must be a winner" and no one is allowed to get involved. If you don't like that, then there are a million other ways that any one of us, much less those on creative, could come up with to make Benoit going to RAW a very good thing.
  15. I see where you're coming from, but I'd rather Benoit go to RAW and win the title there, than to see this continue for months and months of Benoit trying to pester Heyman and Brock just to get a title shot. We've seen that so many times, I'm ok with someone just going "screw it, I'm too good for you chumps anyway". Still, as I said, I see your point and agree with it in theory.
  16. So Jackson is LATE to court today, pleeds innocent, and then is having a party for all of his fans of all ages at his Neverland Ranch today? Muy interesante.
  17. Nevermind, I just thought of my favorite/least favorite. 1997 Fall Brawl - War Games - Curt Hennig slamming the cage door on Ric Flair's head as Mongo and Benoit are cuffed to the cage being beaten and taunted, turning his back on not only Ric Flair personally, but also on The 4 Horsemen. In all of my life of watching Pro. Wrestling, that single moment is the most sickest, disgusting thing that I have ever seen in the industry. I'm not saying it LOOKS all that bad (it was pretty rough though), but when you add everything together, the emotion of the moment, the cage door shot, and how much it REALLY pissed me off (pissed off in terms of me REALLY hating a heel and what he had just done), this moment tops the list for me. I've never been as angry, in a mark way, over anything else. It's one of the best/worst moments in wrestling history to me.
  18. Spike didn't miss the table, that's what was so bad about it. That's got to be one of my favorites, that tough lil' guy.
  19. I'd love to see that happen, but it really isn't WWE nostalgia. If we ever see Flair/Steambot, it will be on a PPV like No Mercy or something like that.
  20. I think a really good* angle would involve both shampoo and milk. * = Replace the word as you see fit..
  21. Happpy birthday Canadian "whatever your real name is" Chick.
  22. I didn't think anyone here actually wanted to be happy. I'd be pleased with the card that's been given in this thread, I'm perfectly ok with it. Although, I do wish that they would have SOMETHING nostalgic added to it. By that, I do NOT mean Austin/Vince, etc...
  23. I'm more shocked that so many of you have accepted this as the gospel than at the card itself.
