If you feel you have such a wonderful "real life", then why did you take the time to cuss out someone who YOU don't really know who more than likely lives so far away from you, and in doing so telling him to stay out of your threads? To me posting shit like that crying like some pussy is a lot more pathetic than everyone else here putting your ass in line for being a twat.
  2. I just read more about it, and it seems it was a type of Twilight Zone series, and not all of them showcased the Freddy character. Interesting.
  3. It aired from '88-'90, so simply put, I never watched it. Hell, I had no idea it ever existed untill about an hour ago. Did any of you guys ever see this? In the time that it was on, there were fourty-four 60 minute episodes aired and Robert Englund was Freddy for the series. It looks/sounds like it more than likely sucked, I have no idea. For the pilot, titled "No More Mr. Nice Guy", they present a prequel for the films, going over the case and all of that. Go to this website to read about it, see a few pictures from the episode, and to view the opening of the show. Would it even be worth my time to track down either just the pilot or the entire series, if I'm a huge Freddy hand? Or on the other hand, if I watched it, would it only smear the series in my eyes? Sincerely, ...Downhome...
  4. I wish Jericho would bring the hair with him down to the ring for a while, around his neck or something, like he'd do in WCW after he beat someone for their mask, etc...
  5. If you sign up for an unusual ammount of CCs, it can hurt your credit. I've always left those alone.
  6. Here are some simple questions to discuss. I'll dive into this in a few minutes or so, I just wanted to go ahead and get it started before I run off to take care of a few things tonight. 1) First off, what in the hell does it all mean? 2) Is this the begining of the return of WCW...yet again? 3) Am I the only one here who felt a bit uncomfortable with it looking like Bishoff was about to RAPE Linda? 4) If this is them bringing back WCW, how in the world can WWE pull it off succesfully? 5) Are any of you against WCW, if that is what this will lead to? ...as we all know, there is a WCW show scheduled for a Thursday night in Ga. in Jan. some time, if I remember correctly, the time slot of Smackdown. Anyway, let's really get into this, and have some fun. Sincerely, ...Downhome...
  7. I'm currious about this also. I found it funny that right after that, they cut to Linda. I though, WTF, because I thought she was in the locker room, and was asking myself what in the hell she has a desk and everything in there.
  8. You can do WONDERS for cheap, if you know what you're doing. I'm sure he can find someone to put him out a professional looking website for $50 a month. There are tons of teens who know how to do this sort of thing that would love to get paid for it, even if it's only $50 a month.
  9. Do you think he'll just keep his hair like this for now on? By the way, damn you Biff. I was going to post a thread just like this when I got home tonight. Just a lot better than this one.
  10. I want that also, and from the looks of that small scene at the begining of Vs., it looks to be the sort of Freddy we'll get. My only question about the prequel, is just how will they show his transformation? What could they do at the end of the film that would be shocking, a suprise, or anything like that. Or would they just figure that everyone will be pleased by just seeing it period.
  11. By the way, I don't care if Freddy tosses out a wise crack here and there. However, instead of lauging at it, I'd rather it be presented in a way to where I am purely angry and afraid of him and then say something like... ..."How dare that mother fucking bastard say something as sick as that!"
  12. How could you just ignore AoD seeing how Evil Dead II ended?
  13. Thank God that others agree with me about Freddy, and also Hannibal Lector seeing that I feel the exact same way about him. I know I'm no longer a ten year old child, but I want to fear these guys in the film, I want to experiance horror and suspense. If I wanted to laugh or whatever, I'd go watch a different film. In The Ring, I fully was in fear of Samara. Call me a pussy or whatever, but that was a character I really feared, I love to hate that character. Hell, I think that even Freddy in original NOES (I haven't watched the second or third lately, so I can't comment on that really) and in New Nightmare were to be truly feared for the most part. I know that NOES and FT13th have turned into "fun" films, but I want to fear them again. As for the Vs. series, they can do what they want with it seeing how I mark out for them all being in the same film. For a prequel to Freddy though, it MUST induce fear in the viewers.
  14. Sorry about that, it's the first thing that came into my head when I saw this topic, heh. I know some people who could help you, if you wish for me to give you a few names and emails.
  15. I think it's possible. Besides, I wish they'd make it so that we all DO end up hating him, turning him back into a true source of horror. Not someone that we all do not want to see, simply, someone that we'll love to hate and fear, and someone that we'll want to see be destroyed. That's the Freddy I wish would come out of all of this. I want to fear him again, I want to love to hate him. He's been a comedic character for long enough.
  16. There should only be two sets of Tag Titles if both shows, RAW and Smackdown, are totally seperate. I'd prefer one to not be called WWE also.
  17. He wears makeup? Kidding of course but without the makeup you can still see the resemblence. I think that's the idea, seeing how all FREDDY is, is a burned up demonic version of himself with scars, heh.
  18. If they decided to do it the right way, it could be one hell of a FILM. I've wanted it for years, so I really hope we get it. I loved the first scene showing Freddy before he became FREDDY in Vs., it was just so cool. Hell, it was one of my favorite parts of the entire movie. As has been said here before, I also am not sure if Hollywood, or the viewing public, are ready for such a mainstream film with the topic that the film would have. It's one thing to show a little girl without eyes in Vs. done by a monster, it's another to have a real man to be killing children throughout a film. I want it though, I'm 100% behind the idea. It's going to happen, just like Vs. will now become a series of it's own. The current Vs. did way better than most thought it would do, and because of that, it's opened up the flood gates for all sorts of new stuff involving Freddy, Jason, and every other horror monster.
  19. I am the KeyMaster, are you the GateKeeper? Oh, sorry, you said WEB master, not KeyMaster. Sorry, wrong thread. *runs off like a ravage beast*

I didn't consider it a dream match either. It was just another feud/match by the time it was all said and done.
  21. i think it was more around 30mil$ Not according to BoxOfficeMojo.com.

    Brock Lesnar

    In my eyes it was.

    Brock Lesnar

I don't think it dented anything. People screw up, have a bad match, get hurt really bad, and all of that at times in their careers, and it eventually just becomes overshadowed by everything else they eventually did. Had it ended his career and that was that, then it obviously would have hurt his imagae, and that would be that. As is though, he'll be ok in terms of it hurting him. I just say people remember it, I don't think many, if any fans who are not hardheaded, allowed that event to hurt his image in their minds.

    Brock Lesnar

Eh...I stand corrected. *brushes off salt* Still, I don't think it'll be career defining. If he ended his career doing the move, maybe, but as is it's really not that big a deal. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it'll hurt his stock in the Pro. Wrestling industry at all all. Not in the eyes of the fans, promoters, other wrestlers, anyone. Still, it was a huge moment. The up and coming rookie sensation, the big fan favorite, finally main eventing WrestleMania in his first year of performing, and then almost killing himself going for his much talked about secret weapon, the SSP. It wont hurt him, but it'll always be remembered as a side note. Like I said, I don't see how anyone could ignore or just forget such a moment.

    Brock Lesnar

Whenever I think of Brock Lesnar for the rest of my life, I'll always instantly think of the time he almost killed himself as he tried to do the SSP for the first time in WWE. I don't see how anyone could help but think of that.
