7 Teens Killed During Police Car Chase

As it so happens, this wreck was about 15 minutes away from my house, and while I personally don't know any of the people involved, I can say nobody deserves to die for what they did. Maybe it was for the best considering that they could have killed somebody innocent, but we're talking about people's children here. Perhaps if these people have any kids left they might learn a lesson or two about how to raise them. And last I checked nobody on some stupid message board makes decisions as to who lives and who dies, it just happens.

    Schools named after Confederates debated

My sentiments exactly. Most of the people who did the actual fighting were pretty indifferant towards slavery and the black race in general. Most of the people wanting to abolish slavery were the abolitionist politicians and radical republicans. I'm sure there were some soldiers who sought to exterminate slavery, but the North's main goal of the war was to preserve the Union. Freeing the slaves seems to be what authors like putting in the textbooks so as not to offend anybody. And don't be too quick defend schools either, they're just as wrong as anybody. I picked up on quite a few mistakes that my college American history teacher made in class this past semester so many of them are pretty ignorant as well. The only true way to find out why the soldiers were fighting is by reading diaries and memoirs, many of which survive today. Since that is such a tedious way I figure that's why it's easy for most books to just slap on the "free the slaves" moniker and be done with it. Don't get me wrong, freeing slaves was one of the goals, just not THE goal. You have to ask yourself this question: If all the slaves were freed but the Union still broken, would the war have ended? No. If the the Confederacy was conquered and the Union restored, but slavery still in existence would the war be over? Yes. Good thing we had a president with common sense to deal with both issues at the same time.

I need your Top 10 Black Sabbath CDs...

First of all, I respect your opinions. That's why I need your help to make the ultimate Black Sabbath CD. Greatest hits CDs just don't cut it for me, that's why I've taken it upon myself to make my own "Best of" collection for Black Sabbath, with your help, of course. Just post your top ten favorite Sabbath songs, and I'll assign points to them (10, 9, 8, etc.) and the top songs will be chosen for the CD. This is how greatest hits albums should be chosen. If this is successful, then I'll do it with more bands. I'll post the results and the CD I made after a sufficient amount of lists have been submitted. BTW, it's probably gonna be a double-disc. Thanks!

    benoitrulz4life's Totally Unofficial Top 25...

This is my own personal top 25. Rip it apart, praise it, but remember that it's totally unoffical and worthless. 1. Oklahoma 2. USC 3. Florida State 4. LSU 5. Tennessee 6. Ohio State 7. Texas 8. Miami 9. Washington State 10. Georgia 11. Michigan 12. Purdue 13. Iowa 14. Nebraska 15. Utah 16. Kansas State 17. Miami (Ohio) 18. Florida 19. Mississippi 20. Arkansas 21. West Virginia 22. Michigan State 23. Oregon 24. Oklahoma State 25. Maryland I rewarded more for wins over better teams than average to worse teams, and did the same thing with the losses as well. Which would explain Oklahoma still being No. 1, because they slaughtered everybody they played, and lost to a good Kansas State team. Well, whatever, I'm tired of typing.

    MMA News UPDATE!

It's not on American PPV because we will be getting a 1st quarter 2004 DVD release of it... hopefully. It's going to be focused on what the Japanese people want to see, so essentially it's by the Japanese, for the Japanese. Which kind of sucks.
