I'll second this. It takes a lot of talent to fuck it up that badly. Ultimates 1 & 2 were great. 3 ..not so much.

Because they've EA'd it and kept running games with more-or-less the same animations since forever. With the next gen systems you can't get away with halfassing it like that, so they had to start reanimating things.

Michaels thinking he could out politic Hulk Fucking Hogan still makes me laugh. I wasn't paying much attention to WWE when this match took place, but I thought Michaels' overselling made it watchable.

I liked Clannad better than I did Haruhi, honestly. It's all by the same studio, so you may want to look into it. I finished Code Geass finally, mainly due to someone prodding me into watching the last half. Loved it. Also finished Gundam 00, which wasn't quite as good..but still leagues better than Seed or Destiny. As far as this season goes, I'll probably watch Code Geass R2, and Macross Frontier.

Lack of targeting aside, there's nothing wrong with the 360 controls. After playing Fire Pro R, SD! is kinda lacking, though. One thing I want is alternate attires for CAWs. As well as being able to use more than 30 slots for CAWing.

The only result I didn't like was Punk winning the ladder match. Ugh.

He doesn't need to. There's no point in doing it, because the guy has been gone from wrestling, and having him show up periodically would just be useless. Yes, it's great that he was a wrestler. He's moved on. Apparently the WWE hasn't. Besides showing up the current faces, and all. Cena's lucky to get even half the reaction The Rock would.

He also has the tiny little benefit of getting whatever angles he wants, getting whatever push he wants, and getting to go over anyone he wants.

I don't really think he owes them anything, either. He went out of his way to try and put guys over, and look what happens. The political backstabbing and such that goes on was clearly annoying him, and I can't blame him a bit. Plus, look at the shape guys are in that stay in wrestling for long periods of time. Austin, for one. The Rock is the smartest guy in wrestling, because he got out of it with his health and fame intact.

In a seven-day-a-week industry, Take-Two Interactive kept busy on Sunday with a quick rejection of Electronic Arts' $2 billion merger offer. Reuters reported that Take-Two has labeled EA's bid as "inadequate" and that the price valued the company at a "significant discount" to others in the game industry. Reuters also quoted Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two executive chairman, as saying that he isn't ruling out a potential deal. "We didn't slam the door, we just said, look, the price is not right and the time is wrong," Zelnick stated. The Chavo thing is being blown completely out of proportion. I mean, it's not like the ECW title had much prestige to begin with, when your title holders include the likes of Bobby Lashley, Vince McMahon, Big Show, and the King of the Indies. Besides, there's nothing saying you can't hold more than one title at a time..

Lashley =/= Vince.

Damnit. While I really wasn't fond of Lashley, I was hoping it would be Kennedy that had been Future Endeavored first.

For someone who's primarily going to be doing gaming (Xbox 360, eventually PS3) what type of TV is best between LCD, Plasma, and DLP? Price range is under $1500, if that makes any difference.

The original is getting a PS2 port, anyway.

This is Capcom we're talking about, after all. It may show up on those, but it won't be the same game the PS3/360 get, exactly.

I don't see anything wrong with Jericho. And he's -always- dressed strangely, so the "he's dressed weird so he's not over" doesn't hold water. Then again, this is the same board that was always CONSTANTLY bitching about how "stale" he was unless he was a heel, then it was magically okay. Also, it seems like the crowds (Flair show aside) have just been weak.

Before they started using actual songs (two years ago?) one of their favorite BGM tracks was this just ramdom incoherent screaming. One of the worst "songs" in any game ever.

You can switch control styles in the demo, just like in the last game. The old scheme is still an option. That said, the demo lacks some of the annoyances the previous games had. Since it has custom music for the 360, I'll be picking this up.

Considering all the other developers they've inhaled and then horribly mutilated? No. The Bioware forums are kinda funny. The only positive posts I've seen are from the moderators.

Ah, fuck. May as well send an early RIP to Bioware, because they're heading down the same path many other great companies once did. I can't wait to see Bio's games dumbed down and whored out to appear on every platform under the sun.
