I'm talking about merchandising period. Owners give a pretty big damn about it. Yes, it is risky in drafting him. But say you make him a tackle for you team. Marks would turn around and buy his stuff and see his first game as a member of whatever team which would bring in a profit that will probably make up for whatever guarentees are given to him. Then what if he turns out to be a good tackle. He doesn't have to be all-star quality. Just so long as he does his job well and does it effiecently, you more than justified bringing him in because you get the marks there consistantly for your team. You can't tell me that someone wouldn't be willing to take a shot at the upswing. Might be risky, but the upswing is there to be good.

Can I just say bullshit to the extremely improbable? If a team out there thinks that Brock Lesnar is worthy enough to be drafted by the NFL, trust me there ARE teams out there that would. I'm specifically looking at the two teams that didn't get to have him the first time around. You think that just because Lesnar did a two year stint with the WWE that they would go "well, geez, we don't want you now. Even though all you probably need is a good amount of time to get ready for the next season say from now till then." Besides, as I said before, I don't doubt that there are teams that wouldn't try signing him. Think of the merchindise they could sell by having former WWE superstar, Brock Lesnar's jersey. And if he actually does a hell of a lot of good which could very well happen? Expect a lot of stuff of his to sell. The owners are sitting there and definitely thinking about it. Hell, for Lesnar to consider going to the NFL indicates that SOMEONE has interests in him.

As I had made mention before. If a team wanted to make a go at selling some more merchandise, they will sign Lesnar. However, I believe that they'll probably sign him as a tackle for defense or running back, if someone does. Big IF here.

Oh yeah, if Angle wins at the second match of the series it really doesn't matter. But taking the belt off Eddie that quickly would be a real shame at this point, and I think most people would prefer Angle taking a break from Eddie for a few months before coming back and challenging fo0r the strap again. Losing two PPV matches in a row and THEN winning would also deflate the audience considering the match and feud would be 4 months or so long by that point and they would need to mix it up before then. Um, I was actually refering to their third match as where Angle cheats to win. And I never specified when those two would have to meet each other for those matches. Just saying if you want those two to face each other, that's the plan you should follow. But what would keep it fresh is also if both men sign a legally binding contract that doesn't let the other competitor near the title whilst either A) The other person holds the title. or B) An extended period of time. That way you build it up as that Eddie won't have to worry about seeing Angle again should he lose.

There can be only new stars if old stars are around to make them. If not, you get WCW2000 again. they'll prolly have to reform DX to save the company eh prof. chaos?.... I think what chaorage was saying snuff, is that unless there are older guys to put over the younger talent as the guys the marks should be regarding as the stars, we end up with how WCW in 2000 couldn't get a single pop going in damned crowd. It took nearly a year to make Booker T and Steiner look good enough that people could once again rally behind them (with boos or cheers). And frankly, it was just regular pops, nothing like what would normally be heard on WWF at the same time with Austin or the Rock.

But what if Eddie actually wins it fairly, and Angle does everything possible to get that return match and announces he'll win it "fair and square". Yet, right as Eddie seemingly has it won, Angle cheats his ass of to win the title. That might work.

Angle could be out or down the card. So that makes a total of 7 guys possibly leaving. Yah, the outlook doesn't look good on the main eventer front. Is there anyone in either roster that could step up right now to be a main eventer, not realistically. Which makes it even worse if you think about it.

If it is a work, then as all the wrestling sites said, the roster would totally either be lying their asses off or have no clue. If the roster has no clue and all this animosity between Lesnar and the business is a lie a lot of people aren't going to be happy and you might end up with five or six people like Lesnar instead of just Lesnar.

Ok, first are you a complete insane? We are saying that too much shit is going on behind the scenes that this isn't good. You have the backlash of Lesnar leaving that it isn't good. The morale of the roster probably took a hell of a nosedive because of it. Are you insane? Everyone hates Brock remember? Why would the morale go down if he left? Everyone may hate Brock (I say may, cause I doubt everyone does), but this still doesn't look good for the morale. Because why would Vincent Kennedy McMahon want to promote new talent when his newest star goes bye bye on him after everything he's given Brock? Besides those given their pushes before hand and those that the company desperately is force feeding us, it most likely will revert to the old guard being on top for a very long time. Hell, I'm more convinced now that Benoit isn't walking out with the World Title and that he won't win it in Edmonton either (probably get a Montreal like screw job in Edmonton). I think Eddie might keep his title just because he's proving (if everything pans out) that he is a draw and hence, Vince won't risk losing that potential. Benoit isn't an assured chance, so I doubt they will.

Plus you've got a lot of time between Judgment Day and SummerSlam. If the issue between Eddie and Kurt is kept alive, it wouldn't be all that hard to for fans to accept a third match between those two. Kurt would probably have to win that one though if he plans on staying around. And we of course assume that the WWE keeps Angle as a Main Eventer, this idea becomes a very plausable one. Still doesn't help with the Main Eventer problem they are having (but helps not make it as bad).

Loser leaves town match. Austin calls for a Double-DQ. That would have been great They can still add that stipulation by making that announcement right as soon as the broadcast begins.

I think Brock and his wife split up before his WWE two year stint (I think, don't quote). At some point Lesnar and Sable took their friendly relationship and upgraded it to lovers. That's about all I know of it.
