Countdown to Infinite Crisis, six page preview
Lightning Flik replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Literature
Actually Matt, I did see it unintentionally. However, seeing that spoiler now makes me want to actually read the damn comics cause I hate being told a part of the story yet not the whole thing. Could spoil the biggest thign there is, and it only makes me even more want to read it. So since I will be wanting to read this now: Should I wait for each seperate release, or the tradeback (or whatever you people call it)? -
I'll likely be the same as Al, dropping out of the NBA Keeper League. Assuming I can get soemone to take over the role of being Commish and looking after the league. Cause I wasn't very good Commish. Sure, lots of real life stuff happened, yet I should've handed off to someone in the season. If anyone would like to step up to the plate, please inform me.

Actually I thought Constantine was fucking brave to pull that song out and not fuck it up. He's not afraid to pull out the stops and frankly you are right, he can sell records with his showmanship. But to win American Idol, probably not. Not if Bo keeps singing like he is. And how the fuck did Mikalah make it this far?
-
Constantine probably was a frontrunner with the votes this past week. Why? Because he sang a David Cassidy song and considering I know a few David Cassidy fans (including my mom) and they told me that he nailed that song perfectly and if they'd vote for him they would (we be Canadians, eh), I'm guessing he just bought himself a few weeks of being on the show, as now all those David Cassidy fans probably just went "We have to vote for him!" Honestly, I'll agree with whoever said Bo should already be making the album. Why is this competition still going? He's the clear cut winner in my mind.

That would be 6 x 5. OBP is a category in the league too. Personally, I think it should just be set the same as it was before the draft unless there's a good reason to change it. And I'm almost positive that those settings included losses and earned runs. Yes they did. However, I ain't running the show, now am I? Its something you have to expect when new leadership happens, it'll most likely lead to changes. And many of these changes will in fact be worth while, because it isn't some newbie to baseball running the show. There'll probably be a few more changes (hey, I'm not HQ, I'm just guessing), but you'll need to trust the new guy in charge. He's feeling out what he believes is needed to be done to make the league a successful league. Oh and the stuff has been changed to 5x5 stats. Check first post. -
Well I'm satisfied. Well of course your happy, you just fucked me over in that trade. Hard. Oh well, I've got a suitable lineup that I can live without Bonds. Would've been better with him in it, but oh well... Seriously though, I think he's just going to be gone for half the season. I mean, it is Bonds we are talking about so this probably is the worst case scenario.
-
There is no way Bonds got injuried so badly he needs nearly two seasons to heal. He's being off for a year so that no one nails him on the steroids bit. This just kills my fantasy team as I went out of my way to aquire him and I gave up Halladay for him. I'm so not impressed about that.

As HQ just asked, I'll inform everyone instead: There are 2 DL spots on your team, but until Yahoo registers them as a DL, you can't do anything about it. I know, it sucks a bunch, but it happens. -
It was probably a business decision made by Namco execs who decided "ok, we need to make some more profits here. Do we A) increase prices, B) slash production, or C) reduce it down to one system so as to conserve the amount of manhours taken to rewrite the code for this game to each other system." BTW, you wanna know which one saves you the most money? The answer really is C. Sadly. Then you have to decide on which system you would rather to leave it on. Sadly, all the major fighters are still with the PS2 as their main target, so it goes to the PS2. Even though I agree that most SC players are Xbox owners. I doubt Sony really had to toss any money Namco's way.

Ok, although I just made mention of this to HQ, I figured I'd make mention of it here. ^__^;; Remember how this is a weekly system? Well apparently, if someone lands on waivers, their on waivers for that entire week they've been dropped. So as you can imagine, HQ's quite livid right now about that. As am I cause that continues to fuck up the Rebels of Oakland situation that's ongoing. So please no picking up Sabathia and Radke by anyone or HQ says I keel your team for Week 1. Apologizes for the confusion and mix ups. -

Uh... Waiver priority is set up how it would be if you had the first pick in the draft. 1st pick gives you 18th priority for waivers. Doesn't it? HQ, we need you to resolve this situation. *really happy I don't have to make the calls anymore* -

I fucking hate Yahoo. It kicked Sabathia and Radke off of Bored's team. Fucking site. Anyways, Bored, I've rescheduled them to be moving back to your team, so please wait till tomorrow. And if anyone fucks with Bored's team, and I swear to god, I'll lock your team down and bench every fucking player, you got that!? I did not need this crap first thing. -

Rosters have been finalized, and are now officially up. Players are on waviers for 3 days, so don't think that you can just pick up anyone you want. If you want to find your team, please look on the 23rd of this month, as that's where you'll see them. Have a great day people. -

Why HQ. You should know that Yahoo would totally have all available players up, even if they might not be officially on the roster. *checks and sees he's not there* ...well, by golly gee, he's not there. Now that's a [sarcasm]total surprise[/sarcasm] in that he's not listed. ...I was planning on doing some updating after this post, but sadly my sinus infection is hitting me pretty hard, so I'm goign to go now use up like 30 boxes of kleenex as I'm sneezing and oozing pretty bad right now. No, you didn't need to know that tidbit, but I just thought I should share information on why I'm not doing what I should be doing. -

1) I just figured someone might get all hissy that I stole a decent pick should he be healthy. and 2) Ah, but you see. Now you must pray that Griffey won't be injuried for half a year. That was my plan all along. yes... Seriously, I just wanted someone to be a back up on my team. What better person than Thomas? -

Just letting everyone know that the Crimson Storm have announced that they no longer at the Crimson Storm but rather: Crimson Cardinals Thanks for your time. -
I think this isn't as bad as when I had watched Ellen like yesterday and she gave one PSP away to a kid and then told the audience that people were paying nearly double price to order them from Japan before the actual ones for here were released. That game was released early for the thousands (and yes, that is correct) of people who bought a PSP from Japan most likely. Edit: Stupid me forgot to finish my bolding tags.
