When I lived in Washington I used to joke about there being something about Idaho that made people in it act retarded when they were in Idaho even if they were fine outside. Maybe that's really true of Wisconsin. Vacationing women arrested for 3 DUIs in 3 days Also, only 30 days jail for THREE DUI arrests? In that short of a time span? And to think I was complaining with a co-worker's boyfriend only got like 3 months for his 3rd over the span of a couple of years.

So I finally just watched the Punch-out teaser. I'm excited for it, but the coolest part is they brought back the fat black guy as Mac's trainer. They even re-did the bicycle training scene! Awesome.

Something I just thought of, did they specify if the new Zelda is going to be DS or DSi? Because sure I'd upgrade to the DSi for Zelda, but I'd rather not have to.

Clearly we voted GG off the island for not liking John Cena.

I really hate that move. I mean it's not like the Rays are hurting for pitching, but still. Price is obviously ready.

I also heard that there's another Tom Brady rule in that you can hit the QB in the legs or something. Damnit, my dream of seeing Brady go out two seasons in a row isn't looking likely.

Greatest ever, see my comments in the roundtable if you care about specifics.

Are they both more Crystal Chronicles Crap? (I'm ok with CC, I just like alliteration) or something else?

Another DS Zelda? I am so there. Looks good too. I don't know what to make of the train stuff, but I never know what to make of the new 'oh that doesn't look so hot' Zelda addition and it always ends up being ok to good, so I'm not worried.

You WILL remove that joke NOW!

Yeah, I'm sad this isn't GG vs Enigma, I might actually have to stop and think on who to vote for if that were the matchup. Goldengreek.

What will be the worst movie of 2009?
Smues replied to Obi Chris Kenobi's topic in Television & Film
My wife (but not me!) will be seeing New in Town this weekend. If (when) she comes back and says 'it was good' do I need to have the divorce papers waiting for her? -
What's so great (see: not great) about those pre-season games that cost so much is that as far as I understand most teams require season ticket holders to buy pre-season tickets too. I could be wrong on that, but I think it's true.

One benefit to sucking ass is you can take silly shots and not care because your score will suck anyway. I've gotten a strike in another lane when I threw really hard and lost control of the ball, I've gotten a strike having set the ball down, and pushed it to go as slow as it could without stopping mid lane, and my favorite was I picked up 9 pins for a spare by hurling the ball hard into the gutter with a lot of spin, and it popped out at just the right place and took out all 9 pins.

I love bowling, and I suck massive ass at it. How bad? My lifetime high is 119. Yeah, I blow, I know. I used to bowl fairly often in Spokane, but up here despite having an alley with a nice bar connected to it right near me I can never find people to go with me.

On PTI they said the owners want to expand to an 18 game season, which would also push the Superbowl to President's Day weekend. Thoughts? My opinion is fuck a bunch of that 16 is a fine number, the league is profitable, they don't need 2 more games of money. And a 16 game season takes enough out of the players as it is.

A variety of reasons. The traditional family thing, it's just wrong, it's sick, it's a mental disease, and all gay people are crazy.
-
I just want to point out that I know a lot of people very opposed to gay marriage who aren't religious at all. I don't quite understand why, but they do exist.
-
Oh motherfucker I was up in plenty of time and actually just waiting for SP to make a pick or it to be noon but then I got sidetracked. One of these days I'll pick on time again! John Smoltz Because I needed an ace closer, and he can work as a starter too.

Unfair to Flair: Celebrating The Worst of The Nature Boy
Smues replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
No one has mentioned yet that Flair was the Black Scorpion? One of the worst angle's ever, and they end up sticking poor Ric in the suit. -
What I mostly remember about books we had to read in High School was that I wanted to read Catcher in the Rye but no my junior year only the AP class did. So of course my senior year the non ap junior class read it. But I read it on my own and managed to use it to get some bonus points in my vocab class, so that worked. Books I remember being forced to read: To Kill a Mockingbird - Didn't like it at the time, but I was 14 and stupid. It's really good. Romeo and Juliet - Not my thing. I don't like Shakespear. And of course the other classes got to watch the movie version where you get to see Juliet's tits. My class had to watch the Decaprio one. Lame. Stotan - I think that was the title. I don't expect anybody here to have heard of it. We basically had to read it because the guy who wrote it went to our highschool and loosly based it in our high school. It sucked. Julius Ceaser - I actually remember enjoying this somewhat. Of Mice and Men - Awesome. The Scarlet Letter - Awful. I'd read a chapter and instantly forget every word I read. Borrrrriiinnnggg. The Adventures of Huck Finn - Awful. Trying to read the parts where Jim was speaking just made my brain hurt. It's like Jar Jar Binks in print form. Kaffir Boy - Beyond awful, and to think I was happy originally that I was assigned this instead of the Diary of Ann Frank or Black Like Me. Would have been more but I took Creative Writing and Vocabulary class my senior year to get out of senior English. (Didn't want to have to do a senior project.)

OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU. I haven't been able to find that, well ever. Haven't seen it since I saw it live at WM19. It's just as awesome as I remember.

I wasn't going to bother voting this round, until I saw this: Goldengreek Enigma

One theory I've heard about why the California thing passed was because of all the black voters that turned out to vote for Obama. Supposedly most of them are anti-gay marriage so getting them to the polls helped Obama and hurt the gay marriage thing. I have no clue if there is any truth to that though.
