This is the first time I've seen this series of State Farm commercials and I'm already sick of them.

Wait...is UW a #4 seed to UConn's #1? FUCK.
-
That's been my proposal for a while. The play in game should be a true play in game between the last two bubble teams for the last #12 seed. It would be a hundred times more interesting than the current set up. I agree. I dunno if I'd even give them a #12 seed, but the play-in game should be the last two bubble teams, not some small conference teams that won their tourny getting fucked by not even getting a real #16 seed. And damn an at-large for Maryland too. I'm not liking this so far.

God damnit a #4 seed for UW. I was praying for a #3 seed. I knew losing to ASU was going to bite us.

I just need to say bullshit to that Arizona bid. That's a lifetime achievement award bid right there. Should have made them do the play-in game.

I'd just like to point out that Street Fighter placed 22nd this weekend, its 3rd weekend, making a measly $400,000, bring it's total up to $8,128,000 domestic and a whopping $9,724,718 worldwide. It also is up to 46 total reviews at RT and still only has 2 positives (damn critics ruining that 0% I was hoping for) for an oh so impressive 4% rating. Ahem. FLOP! I'm not even sure anymore Dragonball will be a worse movie than it, and I'm fairly certain it'll make more money. Maybe not net, but it's bound to draw more it's opening weekend than Street Fighter makes over it's entire run. A movie that does NOT walk through the raindrops.

Top 100 MLB Players of My Lifetime: #80 - #61

I commend you. It would have been hard for me to include Mike Cameron too. -
And wow I just saw the ending to the SEC final, that was pretty whacky. Of course I thought the clock said .8 and not 9.8 or whatever it was, because ESPN sucks and the game block and score bar were half covered by the allmighty ESPN sports ticker. Thanks worldwide leader. And now I'm hearing that that game probably cost St. Mary's their bubble. Eat it!

So I was wondering why St. Mary's played EWU on Thursday in the midst of every other game being a conference tourny. Apparently the St. Mary's coach scheduled it last week to show case that player that got injured and tanked their season. So if St. Mary's somehow gets an at-large they can thank EWU for sucking and agreeing at the last minute to let them kick their ass all in the name of getting St. Mary's into the tourny.

And it was proposed two days ago, I just needed time to think about it.

I saw Race to Witch Mountain yesterday, it wasn't bad at all. Nice to see the Rock is still a draw.

So what time is the selection special? I always love me some selection Sunday, partly to see where the teams I like get seeded, but also to watch everyone on TV whine and bitch about the teams missing out they thought deserved it.

The Agent of Oblivion question of the day
Smues replied to Agent of Oblivion's topic in No Holds Barred
Halibut, Ling Cod, Flounder, and one more I'm forgetting (I really know dick all about fish so as I caught each I had to ask what the hell it was) that was possibly another type of cod. No bait. And on the dip net trip it was red salmon, and again no bait. -
I'd complain, but Wulff brought the program a lot of success and some playoff wins, so whatever. Plus if I'm lucky he'll keep doing this, and get WSU hit with sanctions, that'd be nice. Only beat you to it by about a month or so. I'll try to do better next time. But like I said last month, Wulff made the team a contender, and I can't wish too much ill-will on him. Well, other than going to the prevent defense and blowing a large lead in the 2nd round of the playoffs in...2004? But other than that I'm ok with him. And if he gets WSU in trouble I'd do a dance of joy.

I remember watching that show while I was at the office, and I really enjoyed it. Until the ending, that just killed it for me. The Vince walks by everybody part I liked, but once the Limo exploded I suddenly felt like I had wasted three hours of my life. Was that the last thing you got in the arena, or did they do a dark match or something to send the crowd home not scratching their heads?

The Agent of Oblivion question of the day
Smues replied to Agent of Oblivion's topic in No Holds Barred
Fishing is HUGE up here. I'm not the biggest fan, but I have managed to have fun the two times I've gone. Last June after doing an inventory count for a village client they took us out halibut fishing and I was surprised to find that I had fun, despite basically just sitting on a boat for 5 hours waiting for fish. It probably helped that it was an isolated native village area, so the only other people out there were us. I caught about a half a dozen fish and other than getting a really awful sunburn it was a lot of fun. And while we were out there we saw some Dahl's porpoise's, the benefit of fishing in Alaska I guess. Then the next month I went dip net fishing with some co-workers down on the Kenai river and had a blast with that too. Dip netting sounds boring, but damnit I found it enjoyable. Caught some large red salmon and then camped out on the beach and we all got drunk and just had a fun time. If I ever go fishing again that'll be the way I'll want to do it. Go do some fishing, then camp out and what not, makes the whole trip more worthwhile. So yes I do enjoy fishing, but in limited quantities and with friends and booze and whatnot. I'm not a fishing maniac like most residents of this state. It's just about getting too warm for ice fishing, which means that will stop soon and everyone will gear up to spend every free minute they have fishing. Oh and I need to say that I HATE cleaning the fish. And I don't like eating fish either, so all of my enjoyment comes from the thrill of the catch, and hanging out with friends while doing it. -
I'm not sure why that one was there, but I've removed it. The Marvin WW(f)e filter isn't going anywhere though.
-
If the crowd was made up of Alaska Natives he'd have been cheered, since Chavez gives them all 100 gallons of heating oil each year. Anyone else though, yeah he's getting booed.

Resident Evil: Survivor was awesomely bad because it was not only a bad light gun game, but it didn't use the light gun! The controls were awful, the voice acting and dialog were bad even by Resident Evil standards, and the plot was stupid. I'm Vincent! No wait I'm not! Am I? And did I mention it was supposed to use the light gun but didn't? I rented it two times, the second just to see if it was as bad as I first thought. A Wii port would actually be playable because of the Wiimote as gun, so fuck that let it stay as an awful awful only PS1 game. The sequel for the PS2 on the other hand was quite decent.

Actually I'm a PDP.

At least it wasn't Bobby Flay.

I love the custom music option, EXCEPT that the song ends abruptly before the 1st pitch. Would it have been so hard to fade it out like they do in real life?
-
As much as I love Duke they don't deserve a #1. That would have required beating NC last week, or at least during the ACC tourney, which can't happen now. Solid #2 seed though.

What didn't you do?
