I take it Crazy Max has been 86ed or moved. Don't really know where else to go.

Ohhhhh, you mean Scarpoochi.

As TSM's resident WWE 24/7 Online whore, I should note that they have announced in two weeks they are unveiling their "most exciting surprise EVER". I haven't got a clue. I know they just bumped the content up to 20hrs/mo. I don't know if they're going to double that again, offer full length ppvs (which can be good or bad depending on which one it is), give away free shit, or something else.

I'm guessing in six months, he'll be a guest on F4Daily.

I usually wouldn't bump a thread in which I had the last comment but WWE 24/7 Online posted a preview of sorts for the Aug 1st update . . . I can only assume The Fink will be hosting a special. And if Finkel puts his voice on it, it can't be bad. I'm guessing the dominant diva is Trish Stratus. Eh. Looks like the Bret/Owen cage match from SS94 is getting posted since both Mankind/HHH and Warrior/Rude have been put up already. A fine match, but it seemed like more of a race to the floor than a fight to the finish. Plus, I've seen it a handful of times already so that never helps. Samoans almost always get a thumbs up from me. Not that I expect it, but I'd love for them to pull a brutal Headshrinkers squash. Those two were so much fun to watch murdering shlubs. And the SummerSlam Spectacular 1993 should be good times. I saw most of it years ago and it was plenty solid. Steiners/Money Inc in a cage was innovative with the whole leaving and re-entering the cage. Plus, not allowing for escape through the door made it a whole lot better. Slick ending as well.

Yeah, he had some nifty braces on.
-
Ironically, according to Flair's dvd, he offered to put over Barry Windham on his way out . . . the man Luger beat at GAB91.
-
Oh yeah, thats where Morton gives Bubba a love tap on his johnson. Fun times.

I must say I marked out during the Noble/Katie meeting when Noble spit out the ol "Lots of respect" line.
-
Thanking sponsors and plugging after-parties is annoying enough on ppv but 10x worse on broadcast television. So goddamn bushleague.
-
Not sure if this belongs in this thread or not, but in Feb 09 when tv goes digital does that mean that anyone w/ a HDTV receive HD programming anytime a station airs something in HD basically rendering how many "HD channels" a cable/satellite company offers useless? Yeah, I know that wasn't worded very well.

"This man has stepped into the cage and lost to (endless list of fighters)" Thanks Gus. We love ya.

So Shields thinks he's ready for GSP? Well, I don't know shit so for all I know he could be . . . but I doubt it.

AWA Wrestling back on the air

Last night's ep was nothing special other than Dennis F'N Stamp opening up on Adonis like a house of fire . . . before getting kneed and pinned in under a minute. Easy come, easy go. Oh yeah, they showed DJ Peterson in one of his first matches looking like a dead ringer for Magnum TA rather than a dead ringer for Brutus Beefcake like he would later . . . and no the match wasn't intended to be a flashback, just shoddy post-production. -
My heavens, Mauro Ranallo sounds exactly like the AWA's Mick Karch. And by the looks of things, there were some bloodbaths during the undercard. YEEOUCH! The Queen of Spades hit like a ton of bricks.

Totally agreed on Poffo's shoot. One of the my 5 favorite shoots and one of the few I've saved after I listened to. As for Unforgiven in Cleveland, it looks like tickets don't go on sale until Aug 9th: http://www.wwe.com/schedules/events/eventdetail/?id=7726630

Unforgiven is in Cleveland this year and I think ticket prices actually went down since the last ppv here Survivor Series 2004. I got 1st row seats, center ring, in the upper deck for $80 . . . the prices for Unforgiven are: $150 $85 $65 - I would guess those same seats I got four years ago cost this much now. $45 $25 Still no bargain but it'd be the 1st show I've gone to since a SD/ECW taping a couple weeks before WM23.

Weighing 240 pounds, Bradley Russell Binford.

I would have sworn JR made Kendrick/Pillman comparisons last week.

Is that cut on Snow's head ever going to heal? Seems like he's had that band aid on for the last half a dozen episodes. That jobber teaming w/ Snow isn't just any jobber . . . it's Art Washington, the same guy Ted DiBiase hired to wrestle in his debut. He lost to Chris Curtis and got beat down by DiBiase and Virgil. Rich/Adonis was good classic rasslin. The crowd digs Rich, that's for sure. The Peterson/Madusa/Nailz stuff is a little confusing. I didn't even know they were feuding . . . next thing you know they're fighting in MN's answer to the Mid South Coliseum and now Madusa is Peterson's "slave". And the pjs he made Madusa wear . . . I don't get it. I figured she'd come out lookin like a Poison groupie but oh no. Going back to Wed's show, it was quite humorous how Adonis didn't feel like working so he splashed the shlub in the 1st minute and forceably held him down for the 3 count as the jobber was kickin away. Better for all of us. -

Havent watched last night's show yet but yeah, those squashes were terrible. Jumbo Baretta, Rick Gantner, Pete Sanchez . . . were these guys even trained to wrestle? They can hardly take a bump which you would think would be the one thing they'd have down pat. The title change was definitely fun. Surprised they picked up the phone shot on the replay . . . and nice continuity of Heyman showing up for his next promo w/ a taped together cell. -

Zoiks, they replayed the six-man tag w/ The Dangerous Alliance vs Rich/Wahoo/Blackwell from a show last week as last night's main event. The tribute to Mad Dog Vachon was pretty well done for the time. Verne was kind of just rambling there during his interview but it seemed he meant well. Soldad Ustinov scaring the bejesus out of Larry Nelson was precious. I love how Paul E has become a regular at the studio interviews. Him laying down yucking it up on the phone was awesome. And yes, I pretty much FF past all the matches to get to the studio hijinx. -
Hardly anyone watching WWE knows/cares who Brian Danielson is at this point.

The Miz annoys the fuck out of me . . . not in a good way. I tried sitting through a Dirt Sheet but couldn't make it through.
