I figured I didn't have her, but I'm surprised I didn't have any golden girl.

EDIT - Jingus got it.

WWE 24/7 Classics OnDemand General Discussion
MillenniumMan831 replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in WWE Multimedia
It's been a long while since I've seen World Tour 1996 but I must admit, the New Rockers' stooging had me laughing. -
I don't mind the Edge/Alicia/Vickie storyline the way it is as long as it doesn't take a backseat to HHH. Let HHH come out and pedigree whomever he wants as long as he doesn't take up more than 10 minutes of the show so La Familia can dominate the rest of the show as they should. It would be so awesome if somehow Edge/Vickie reconsiles ("But baby, I was trying to spear Alicia because I was concerned for you.") and Alicia still ends up in their group (maybe she can fuck Hawkins but sometimes she'll fuck Ryder if he puts on Hawkins's tights). Edge, Vickie, Chavo, Bam, Kurt, Zack, and Alicia. The Magnificent Seven of Smackdown.

What about Tony fuckin Atlas? I try to refer to him as that as often as possible as I used to work w/ a gymrat several years ago. Another co-worker then started going to the gym and casually mentioned the weight he was lifting prompting the gymrat (who I had no idea he watched wrestling at all) to say "One week going to the gym and he thinks he's Tony fuckin Atlas". The randomness made me chuckle.

I think that ending proved that no one gives a fuck about HHH.
-
Well, at least HHH didn't answer the question by asking the same question over like WWE-style dictates . . . "Do you have any regrets?" "Do I have any regrets?"

Where has this business gone where a flaming car is only good for a nearfall?

Let's Talk About...Battle Royals

I'm a huge mark for the last minute of that match w/ Funk chairshotting Kane followed by Funk straddling the middle rope after Mankind's chair shot. That crowd was insanely hot for the finish. -
I thought they'd have the midcarders there cheering them on like the Guerrero/Cena parking lot brawl from five years back.
-
Ending aside, Punk came out of that looking really good. He outclassed Batista at every turn and basically kicked the shit out of him w/ Batista's only 'strength' being his 'strength' as Cole put it.
-
I suppose this could put Dreamer in a feud where me may actually win a match.
-
My suggestion would be keep things the way they are and if a piece of news garners eight or so comments, make a thread out of it, regardless of how minor the item may be.
-
IIRC, it was just the World Champ and Women's Champ.
-
Not to mention the follow up at War Games . . . the nWo B-Team defeating the Horsemen.
-
Was that the reason Orndorff was sent out? I always figured Roma kept not wanting to lose to himself and just sandbagged Wright during the match.

JBL could have also threatened that Cena wouldn't be so lucky at the parking lot brawl at the Bash. -

And the winner of the 2008 Bret "Hitman" Clark award goes to "Stoned" Steve Austin. -
He won it with a poke in the eye when the ref wasn't looking. Good tactical fighting.

I remember that. KK was busting Cornette's chops for referring to the 25 guys as a quarter hundred. And ragging on Papi Chulo sliding into a 3/4 full ring. -
"His precision is very precise" Thanks Mike. And ouch, I owe my brother $1 since I bet him for his free Big Mac coupon.

MillenniumMan831 replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
Yeah, that pretty much summarizes my opinion of battle royals. For me they're like pizza, even if they're bad, they're still pretty good. And if I saw a battle royal listed on a CV box at Mom's Mega Video, it was an automatic rental . . . well, they all were but that got 1st dibs. I'm a big mark for the WM2 battle royal. I thought the football players were used very well and it was neat to see the Hart Foundation face off w/ Andre at the end. I remember in 1992, there was an indy show (GLWA) at the park down my street. The main event was a 10-man battle royal when some Russian guy won it when he eliminated former WWF jobber Ron Cumberledge . . . who was also in at least one of the 40-man battle royals. And needless to say when I'm playing FPR, I'm all about the 8-man battle royals using random select. Fun shit. -
Saw the clip of the HHHijinx on wwe.com. You guys weren't kidding about Alicia, she seemed stiff as a board. Actually intrigiued to see how Sunday plays out.
