Didn't think spoilers were necessary since it also aired live in the US and I'd assume Canada as well.

I'm Jeff Harvey . . . Good day

They had a backstage altercation ending w/ Piper slapping Santino and it's gone from there.

JBL would likely be the next best guy, not sure if he's faithful. If so, then Finlay. -
Smackdown Spoilers for June 6th 2008

I'm thinking Mickie (or whomever the Women's champ is on 6/23) will just end up drafted to Smackdown thus transferring the belt off Raw. Don't worry, I'm sure Cena and James will be broken up by then anyway. -
Just watched the 9/20 Raw. The Bobby Heenan cold gimmick was a thing of beauty. McMahon selling the cold during the segment at the commentary desk was cold . . . I mean gold. Also loved Ludvig Borga's promo "Look adees feelth, dees polluuution".

King of the Ring: The Early Years

Taylor did a CV exclusive interview w/ the Steiners and the Gunns repeating such classic lines like "That's a good point". He also hosted Wrestling Spotlight (the poor man's version of PrimeTime Wrestling) during this time. And trading in his tights for a microphone magically turned him face too. Good call on the title-match graphic, I think they also had graphics for the qualifying matches as well. -
King of the Ring: The Early Years

There's something about the whole production/presentation of the KOTR 1993 ppv that I dug. I can't really put my finger on it. Maybe it's JR/Heenan/Savage doing commentary w/o togas being the focal point. 1. I think the tournament was booked just fine. To nitpick, maybe I'd have Doink and Hughes switch roles. Hughes loses via DQ in a qualifying match as Perfect defeats Doink in the 1st round. 2. Oh boy, it's been a while but I figure Hart/Perfect is a safe bet, though I remember Hart/Bigelow being pretty good too. Didn't mind the dusty finish since it created an eyebrow raising moment w/ the heavy underdog Bigelow seemingly winning the KOTR. Plus, the face didn't get hosed over. 3. Hogan/Yoko is such a classic spectacle. Much better than Taker beating Hogan for the title a year and a half prior. HBK/Crush and the 8-man didn't do much for me. 4. Yeah, that Perfect/Hart promo was awesome. I loved how Gene had Hart tongue-tied. IIRC, he pitches it back to the arena anticipating a heated match and it seems he can't fathom why. -
Once our great WWE fans were finally able to locate Raw on Spike, they are having problems trying to find our product on the USA Network.

IIRC, that 11/87 MSG card was rockin. All 3 of those matches are awesome. Plus, Bockwinkle's commentary is a nice change of pace and keeps Gorilla on his toes.

I dont see it going up more than .3

Gotta admit, I laughed at Adamle marking out for that Damn.

Right that's what I said, Scarpoochi. Finally saw the 8/2 and 8/9 Raws. I was sweating just watching those 2 shows. It looked like it was 110 degrees in that warehouse. Interesting for them to have aired Luger citing his wrestling start for Championship Wrestling from Florida back in 93. And hot damn, did Cornette ever steal those shows. From wwe.com I'm pretty sure that Hart/Michaels match is from Wrestling Challenge. After seeing the debut Bobby Heenan show, I don't know what I think about seeing another ep of it. Could be worse.

Definitely a nice lineup this month. Haven't sat down and watched any of them yet (hell, I still haven't finished some of April and May's vids . . . working sucks) but I did notice an annoying and fairly large 24/7 Online watermark at the top right of the vids. Yuckers. Maybe they want to be able to ID rips on YouTube. *shrugs* As for the specials, here are the lineups (I suspect all these matches are complete): History of IC Title Part XII IC Title - Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat - Maple Leaf Garden 2/15/87 (Different from the MLG match from 7/86) IC Title - Ultimate Warrior vs Andre the Giant - MSG 9/30/89 (They really should have thrown in the 10/89 MSG rematch but I guess they didn't want to show Warrior making a fool out of Andre) IC Title - Mr Perfect vs Roddy Piper - MSG 12/28/90 IC Title - Bret Hart vs The Mountie - MSG 11/29/91 Next Month - Bret Hart's 2nd IC Title reign including the Ladder Match vs Shawn Michaels (At least that's what Scarpoochi says) I must say I'm a little salty they didn't have any Warrior/Rude matches considering they skipped 1989 for whatever reason. Wrestling's Hot Beds - Strange Places APA vs Benjamin/Haas - Tribute to the Troops 2003 Bret Hart vs Mankind - Shotgun from Webster Hall 1/25/97 Hulk Hogan vs Big Bubba Rogers - WCW Nitro from Mall of America 9/4/95 24/7 Hardcore Title Video Rey Mysterio vs Psychosis - WCW Road Wild 1998 WWF Championship - Empty Arena - The Rock vs Mankind - Halftime Heat 1/4/99

AWA Wrestling back on the air

I believe Killer Kowalski's 1st name is Walter. -
I used to have the Jake Roberts UMD. It had the full documentary and 3 extra matches.
-
And in the 513th and final main event of Heat, Charlie Haas battled Robbie McCallister. Far cry from Kane & Mankind vs The Rock & Owen Hart.

Jamie Noble + Vickie Guerrero = True Love

Sad to think that it was just 3 years ago when seemingly the entire IWC was in a buzz about the original ONS and very very very few came away disappointed.

3,607 days until retirement. Good luck Jimbo. And I'm digging the paper bag gimmick.

Jesus. Vince will die before he ever unearths that match. The finish of the match was shown on the April 28, 2000 edition of ECW on TNN. Paul Heyman was not allowed to show the entire match and no footage of Tazz was to appear on the ECW Cyberslam 2000 home video. Actually, I don't believe any footage of the match was shown on ECW on TNN. IIRC, the only footage shown on TNN was Taz putting over Dreamer on the mic and handing the belt over before Dreamer gave his speech and you know the rest of the story.
-
Maybe since ECW is going to be taped w/ Raw, they'll have the BIGGEST DRAFT SELECTION OF ALLZ TIMEZ by having Raw draft the entire ECW roster.

AWA Wrestling back on the air

I'm thinking if there were rumblings of a Shawn Michaels AWA Title run, they probably would have ended up giving it to Ricky Morton instead. -
For an inaugural promo, DiBiase Jr hit one out of the park.

I think they should reference the fact AJ already had a golden chance to bang Karen when they went out on their "date" and AJ passed it up . . . granted he was more oblivious to it than anything but still.
