Well, it was a big semifinal episode leading into this Saturday's TUF Final leading into the 12/29 Serra/St. Pierre fight that will see the winner fight Matt Serra in the spring. Masters's death is just poor timing on his part. -

I got a Max Drive but had to use a regular flash drive as the one I bought only came w/ a 12MB memory card. I put the .max files on the flash, put it in the PS2 as well as the cd and it said there were no files to uncrush to the memory card. Well, I got dicked out of $30.

In all fairness, on the 3/1/93 ep, McMahon shilled "Still to come, Rob and Scott The Steiner Brothers in action!"

I'm guessing they had a "great new storyline" for the "unemployed" Senshi but since he'll be gone, I'm sure Christopher Daniels will be proud as punch to inherit it. -

I kinda know where you're coming from. I was never much of a pre-WCW Sandman fan but loved his work after it. I dunno, maybe it was the fact that he dumped the sweat/pajama pants in favor of painter pants and slicked his hair back. I dunno. -
Regal said it would be non-title when he made the match.

If there was one team I didn't want to see beat the Patriots, it was the Ravens. God bless HD!

I love how PWT noted that Joe went 5 minutes too long when his promo was about 5 minutes on the dot.

I know this may be too obvious but Jake Roberts' promo at WrestleMania VI may be my all time favorite. Scoured You Tube for it w/ no results.

While we're not on the subject, here's Bill Belichick showing the world how to make delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwiches . . .

I forgot to add, the pic on the 24/7 Online page of the Tatanka/Miz match is priceless. -
How the fuck did that ref now call a force out at the end though. That was a hell of a catch by Winslow, he was clearly forced out and the ref calls nothing. Yeah, I thought it was a force out as well. But I figured it's just the homer in me thinking that. The Edwards TD at the end of the 3rd Quarter should not have counted earlier so each team got burned by shitty officiating. I will say Winslow getting even got one foot down w/ possession was pretty amazing. As an aside, I think the rule is pretty dumb and just begs for controversy. Either the guy gets two feet in or he doesn't regardless of a force out or not would be a lot easier on everybody. Or if they insist on keeping the rule the way it is, at least make it reviewable.

That Browns/Cardinals game was quite nostalgic. Now, THOSE were the Browns I'm familiar with. Costly penalties, giving the ball away at almost every turn, and most importantly coming up short at the end. Nothing against the Cardinals cause they played a helluva game w/ all the injuries but the Browns handed them that game on a silver platter. And by the time Cleveland changed their minds and decided they wanted to win afterall, it was too late.

The Edge vs. Eddie match was great! I had never seen it but remember reading how it was one of the best matches ever on SmackDown. I can see why. The real gems of the month again is Raw and History of the Intercontinental Title. I liked how they didn't just feature title matches this time and told a little bit more of a story. I wonder what other kinds of matches will be featured on the 15th? Personally, I'd love to see the Jericho vs. Triple H last man standing match. I doubt we'll get that though since it would need to be blurred. I watched HHH/HBK in a Cell and the Edge/Guerrero matches back to back and must say I enjoyed the hell out of both matches. Maybe I was feeling mellow but HHH/HBK didn't feel like 45 mins. Though I will say it was pretty silly seeing HHH stall SO F'N LONG on the one arm cover after the 1st Pedigree. As for the Edge/Guerrero match, that DDT off the ladder/top rope was sick indeed. Raw and the IC Title ep were both solid. Fatu and Hart tore it up and I'm a mark for both evil Doink and The Narcississt. I wouldn't be too surprised to see HHH/Jericho on the 15th. Though I'm guessing we're gonna get some Santa related segments/matches. As for January, I'm thinking they may stack about 5-10 Raws to celebrate the 15th Anniversary. That or hopefully a Rumble or two or three or more. -
