New Japan Upset With WWE Over JR's Comments Plus other New Japan/WWE notes.... Many in New Japan Pro Wrestling are upset with the comments Jim Ross made last week on WWE Byte This. Ross said that Japanese wrestling is currently "sucking pond water." Antonio Inoki was apparently extremely upset and may have told his staff to sign former WWE talents such as Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, and Goldberg as a way of showing the world that New Japan is the world's top wrestling promotion. Some of the heat may also be due to the fact that WWE hasn't shown interest in working with any of the Japanese promotions and have no trouble drawing huge gates for their Japanese events. Meanwhile, WWE is in talks with New Japan about buying out the footage of Chris Benoit's matches for the promotion. WWE wants to use the footage in the upcoming Benoit DVD. Credit: PWInsider.com

Triple H Delays Movie Shoot; Wrestlers Happy Austin Is Gone Some backstage WWE news items.... - WWE has decided to push back the movie they are making which will star Triple H in order to keep him on RAW. Shooting has been pushed back a month or two. With all the major departures from WWE, the company feels it is important to keep Triple H on TV right now. - The Triple H vs. Chris Benoit match is still set to be a key part of WWE this summer and should be one of the major matches at Summerslam. - Most wrestlers are happy that Steve Austin is gone from WWE. Nobody liked having to sell for a "retired" wrestler who never really put any of the active guys over. Credit: PWInsider.com

Let Flair play the part of the Jackal. And Vince can play the part of the Green Goblin.

Well time will tell how well the Foley feud got Orton over and I haven't seen the hardcore match yet. But, I thought the feud was shitty. First, why should I care that Orton beats up retired wrestler Foley when HHH has already done it countless times. And Foley was always looking like a dumbass by walking in to traps and, of course, with the way Orton was always beating him at every turn there was no doubt he was winning the feud. And I'm just sick of Foley always talking about how he doesn't like the way the WWE is but, then the minute Vince offers him money or a chance to plug one of his book's Foley is right there doing the shit he says he doesn't like. Like when he first came in to replace Austin. What was the point of that? He added nothing to the product or the storyline and it was just more of the same shit that we had with Austin.
-
After the shitty Foley/Orton angle I rather Orton stop going after retired wrestlers and start having feuds with current wrestlers so he can grow and the fans can see what he is made of.

I like last week's ep with Chole being bathed in that green stuff and everyone had to tell the truth around her. And was anyone else shocked that Pete kissed her and told her he loved her? I never would have guessed that. This could lead to either something very interesting with Chole and Pete or it could be a lame shakeup thing.

Well since everyone has done current shows I thought I'd go old school and say Miami Vice. From the opening scene with Peter Gabriel's "Rhythem of the Heat" to the gripping gunplay, the storyline, and chemistry between Crockett and Tubbs. And who could forget the scene in the Dayonta while "In The Air Of The Night" plays in the background. The pilot set the tone for Miami Vice and did a damn good job of it. Another one is Knight Rider. It did a good job is setting everything up. It was dark compared to how the show would become more campy later on. Devon was more of an asshole, Michael was pissed for having his life taken and wanted revenge, and Kitt sounded more like a robot. And I love the way they first showed Kitt by having only his red scanner appear at first in a dark garage. And it showed all the cool things Kitt can do. Michael Knight had a kinda Batman/supercop thing going on in the pilot and the first couple of eps.

I believe Vince's stepmother died a few years ago. This is his biological mother. Question didn't Vince also say that he was abused by his stepfather?

More WWE Notes: Dudleys, Bradshaw, Gates, More Even more WWE news items... - The Dudleys got strong heel heat at the house shows over the weekend and most in the company are happy with how they are doing as heels. - Many are still upset and frustrated backstage over the push of John Bradshaw Layfield. The general feeling continues to be that he won't be able to draw PPV buys and everyone knows it but nobody will say anything since Vince McMahon is behind his push. - The 4/24 SD! house show in Tulsa drew a bit over 4,000 for a $100,000 gate. The 4/25 show drew a bit under 4,000 paid for a $120,000 gate. - WWE has sent a cease and desist letter to AWA Stars concerning how they recently advertised that they could book matches between "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. The Shield, season 3. Official Thread
EdwardKnoxII replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Yeah that's right he did tell her I forgot. But, anyways I still think she is going to find Julian jerking to gay porn or in bed with another man. Like his old "boyfriend" from Season 1. -
Saved By The Bell Questions That You Asked
EdwardKnoxII replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
Here's another question for you. Do you think any of the gang did drugs after school? Now, I'm not talking about the Johnny Dakota ep, or when Jessie was hooked on coffe pills, or the drinking and driving ep. I don't know about you but, I thought Zack did drink beer and did drugs but, nothing hard just some weed from time to time. He just seem like the type. He just trying to make himself look good in the Dakota ep. I also think Slater did beer and weed from time to time. Kelly being as popular as she was may have tired it once or twice but, that's it. Jessie, coffee pills aside, never did or try any of that. And I doubt Lisa would have tired weed because of the smell messing up her clothes. And, of course, Screech didn't try any of them at all. -
The Shield, season 3. Official Thread
EdwardKnoxII replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
After watching tonight's ep I having a strong feeling that Shane stole that 7 grand and it's going to lead to him or his GF getting killed off by season's end. When Julian went in to give his sperm sample I just know that he was going to jerk it to gay porn. I think somehow, someway (like maybe finding him in bed with a man) his wife is going to find out his was/is gay and then is going to leave him. And damn I really didn't think Tommy was going to kill himself. -
Simple. In The Air Of Tonight. Whenever I hear that song I always think of the scene in the Miami Vice pilot were Crockett and Tubbs are driving thru the dark streets of Miami in the Dayonta with the top down, the lights reflecting of the hood and Crockett's hair blowing in the wind. That music scene MADE Miami Vice and set the tone for the show and showed how good the show can be with music.

Star Trek Prequel Movie In The Works? The series that will NEVER die... Despite the fact that Star Trek: Nemesis was a failure at the box office and the cast has more or less split, franchise producer Rick Berman is working on another movie. "I am involved in the very early stages of what could be the next Star Trek movie. It's something I will be producing with two other producers." The movie would apparently be a prequel to the entire Star Trek series. Credit: TrekToday.com

Well how do you know? Cept for Kidman they've never really been pushed to see how the crowd would react to them. Hell Dragon got a good reaction for his first match and he was still busted down to the B-show.
-
And the crowd still couldn't give a shit about them.
-
Yeah I remember that. They were wrestling Hurricane and Rosie who are pretty over with the crowd even do they've been jobbed out alot and you have Cade and Jindrak who couldn't get heat. So, who wins the match? Yep Cade and Jindrak and it KILLED the crowd when they won.
-
I think you all are forgeting one of the most boring teams ever Storm and Regal. Lets see they had only been together as a team for a few weeks when they won the Raw tag belts from the very over BookDust after they had just won them a few weeks earlier ending a great feud. Storm/Regal were not over at all and their winning the belts killed the crowd and killed the tag divison. And it what was worse was you had JR pimping this team as being the greatest when you could see how the crowd didn't give a shit about them.

Hell why stop at old shows. Why not do a reality version of current shows like 24 or The Shield or Smallville?
