    How does that work?

    4,000 dead Americans

    Good one?

    4,000 dead Americans

Where was Rush's "say it to my face!" badassness back in the late 60s/early 70s?

George W. Bush is completely right.

Not a particularly well-planned 'comeback' there.

So why no posts about Burma?

Try the 'GWB is completely right' thread.

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

Just ordered my Neil Young ticket for 12/12, third row.

NFL Week 4 Failed Rexperiment & Chat

Maybe La Crosse's Mississippi River Killer will take a break this year.

I don't know if Kyle Orton holding the keys is the safest scenario.

Yeah, Brady/Favre/Romo are probably the MVP leaders in that order. Of the three Brady has the best chance for consistent considering the weapons he gets to work with. Keep going, Slayer!

At least the Brewers finally have a winning season in my baseball-viewing lifetime. Bullpen may die now.

Let's start talking Best Album of 2007.

If it's a limited release the sets will be traded for newborns on ebay.

Are they even doing an in-store release? The whole thing is confusing me. I like every new song I've heard, though.

Let's start talking Best Album of 2007.

I hope Chrome Dreams II ends up contending for this title.

Let's start talking Best Album of 2007.

Will probably end up being In Rainbows. As of now my vote goes to Brother Ali's 'The Truth'

NFL Week 4 Failed Rexperiment & Chat

Favre likes to carry teammates, usually Donald Driver, around on his shoulders in celebration. In that photo's case it is Greg Jennings after catching Favre's 421st touchdown pass. That's either really weird or really confusing or a combination of both. Does he do it to constantly show he's still strong enough to stay until he's 50? "Havin' fun out there."

NFL Week 4 Failed Rexperiment & Chat

Going by the current momentum of the 'experts' the Bears will probably spring to life next Sunday. Whatever happens against Chicago next week, though, the Packers future will still be far from secure. The two weeks of back-to-back road games against Denver/KC & Detroit(the dreaded Thanksgiving matchup)/Dallas will be very dificult. Next week, if nothing else of great importance, will be a good test of whether Green Bay has recaptured the Lambeau Field advantage that's disappeared the last few years.

    This Week In Baseball 9/24-10/1

MLB took back Seth McClung's entire suspension for hitting Pujols upon viewing the tape, scouting report, etc. So much for that conspiracy theory. That leaves the obvious: The Milwaukee bullpen are to pitching what Abraham Lincoln was to pitching.
