Turns out it will be Mike Mukasey.

Next Sunday will definitly be a big measuring stick for Green Bay. We will see how their defense stacks up against San Diego compared to Chicago in week 1. It could be interesting. It would be very nice to get the old Lambeau mystique going with a huge win. I'm sure today's offensive explosion had more than a little to do with the Giants' defense being terrible but Favre was on. Nice to see Bubba Franks back in top form as well.

The sad thing was making the 'comeback' in the first place.
-
Nice to see Milwaukee getting a little more national exposure. What will these be, their 3rd & 4th nationally televised games of the year?
-
The Brewers really need to re-sign Cordero after this season. Great saves last night & this afternoon. I'll be very sad if they decide to let him go & give the closer job back to Turnblow.
-
Packers vs. Giants was fun times. Favre now the winningest quarterback ever. Dr Z & skip Bayless still aren't sold on him yet, though.

I agree with Czech's assessment. The people using the bathroom technique are trying to keep it undercover for a reason. If homosexuality wasn't so despised by certain people, the felt need to keep one's sexuality a deep secret wouldn't be necessary. Which leaves the saddest element of this story as a homosexual man was simultaneously doing all he could to deny rights to people just like himself & trolling for underground sex with other men. While I did hope, and continue to hope, that something like this would drive the GOP towards personal freedom and away from big govt nanny-stateism, it obviously is not happening as yet. And the fact that Craig's party (minus Arlen Specter) turned on him so brutally while giving Vitter (who not only commited multiple crimes by hiring prostitutes, but made some of his phone calls on Federal property as a sitting Congressman) is really lame, and sadly expected. That Craig & Vitter were both among the biggest impeach-Clinton guys only adds to the hypocrisy.

+1500 on the all-important postcount.

I wonder if they'll keep Geoff Jenkins next year for his 'veteran leadership'?
-
At what point did halftime scores begin to count?
-
Craig was adamently opposed to gay people having rights/Larry Craig is gay. That's the thing.
-
That will depend on how serious Mark Antanassio is. I would geuss at least one of those guys leaves in the next few years, but at least its not like in the Selig Daughter's days when every single star player was traded off for a couple cans of Miller Lite.

I hope next week's win is by a few dozen points and our running back scores at least ten touchdowns. Then Wisconsin wont be so weak.
-
You do realize that Wisconsin took control in the second half after the new cornerback (the guy taking over for our best cb after he was hurt on the first play) right? And PJ Hill scored 5 touchdowns? Would 7 or 8 not been underwhelming?
-
While Craig's hypocrisy is worse than normal in that he was denying human rights to people just like himself, he still remians an actual human being. On the other hand everybody (both on the left & the right) that just heaped their vitriol and hate on the guy are being just as awful. I had naively hoped this might improve the ridiculous mindsets on the right but they only went farther away from actual small govt conservatism. It was an eerie repeat of the Walter Jenkins deal in 1964. When he was caught being gay in public LBJ basically threw him out with the trash...fortunately for Jenkins, Lady Bird had enough class to make up for her husband's lack and helped his fallen aide out. Also, Barry Goldwater refused to use the story in his campaign.

Pretty good for a guy in his second full season. And his rookie records of last year have already been broken by Ryan Braun. If not this year, the Brewers should be favored to win the Central next season no matter how much more popular the Cubs/Cards are.
-
Is the point here that everyone else is as big a hypocrite as Larry Craig?
-
Not a very good showing from BX there. I was in community college, dipshit!
-
Prince Fielder is now the Brewers' single-season homerun leader.
-
Yes, this season has been great compared to the last 15 years, but the bullpen collapses over the past month have been among the more pathetic I have ever seen.
-
A little off topic, but am I the only one that thinks UFC is as fixed as wrestling? Probably just you.
-
Who blows it for Milwaukee tonight? My guess- Suppan gives up 7 or 8 runs early & a strong effort from the bullpen/offensive comeback will come up just a bit short.

I enjoyed Crime/Punishment when I read it in high school. I kinda doubt I'll ever find time to re-read it again, though.

Did vivalaultra survive the ACL fire?
