"I take a bath every day." Al Sharpton to Joe Biden yesterday.

Which pbp is this now?

Hoosier fans seem to be enjoying themselves. Good game. Big upset. Rematch at the Kohl Center should be swet revenge.

I wouldn't be concerned about him being elected if it wasn't MN. He has a very good chance. And he will be Mike DeWine levels of terrible, only on the other side of the aisle.

That's probably what the Governor candidates were thinking in 1998. "This should be sooo easy, a rassler! Wait, where are we? Minnesota? Shit!"

http://www.startribune.com/587/story/972540.html Al Franken is going to run for Norm Coleman's MN Senate seat. He could make Humphrey seem tolerable.

I'm pretty geeked for this Wisconsin-Indiana game.

This will make the State of the Union speech next year.

Al Sharpton doesn't bathe regularly.

Biden's supposed to be on the Daily Show tonight to make his formal candidacy announcement. I wonder if he'll still be in the race this time next week.

"He got it from Darryl Strawberry." -Barry

I guess he decided to eliminate himself with something besides plagiarism this time. Or, maybe Invader could be his running mate.

Until the Justice Dept/Bush Admin decides to stop raiding medical marijuana clinics/growers after states pass referendums I would be leery of participation. Much like records of Oxycontin prescriptions, I'm sure that records of marijuana prescriptions are easily obtained by the govt.

Pretty good use of Damien Rice at the end.

Without you guys there I had to triple-team the whores all by myself. That meant using my last Pringles can & a pine cone. Pure hippe shit.

You should probably just go turn yourself in now.

So you're anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-any regulation for business but supra-regulation for homosexuals, workers, or pregnant women, & anti-health care? Good 4 u!

Took a whole week to come up with that gag? -
How anyone can see/hear the word 'Progressive' and think anything besides moving forward is really odd. You should probably turn Fox off for awhile, Invader. The Republicans were really struggling with the minimum wage increase today. The Christian bloc is for it, and the Dems have added an amendment with an $8.3 billion tax benefit for small business, so the GOP angst is really going to only hurt them more & more each day. One Republican, I forget who, tried defending himself against the onslaught by saying something like "The Dems shouldnt be fighting so hard for this...there's not another election for almost 2 years!" It didn't come off so good for his Party's position. With so many Americans for it, the Christian folk included, and the small business tax cut...what possible reasons for fighting against a $7.25 minimum wage is left for the GOP?

Jack Valenti, speaking from his deep experience in a similar situation, spoke out against the Iraq War tonight on Hardball.

Yeah. They're a slowly-rising band (from the South I think) that is on the more enjoyable end of the 'jamband' spectrum. They're alot more country/bluegrass-y than the Phish/DaveMatthews/OAR type of bullshit. But they also fit into what I mentioned about most of 10KL being 'local type bands'...Hut Buttered Rum plays a bar in Madison called High Noon fairly regularly for under like 8 or 10 dollars, and last year played Bonnaroo at their tiny local-band stage that doubles as a cafe. I'm sure 10,000 Lakes is a really fun time, and alot of the bands are pretty good...I just think it's weirdly overpriced, especially compared to Bonnaroo or the bar cover charges for alot of the acts. 'Overwhelming' is a pretty good word for Bonnaroo. Lots of people, campground is huge, so much happening. But you get a map upon entrance, the size of the tents and concert fields allows for plenty of space (I was in the front row for a crazy all-night Saul Williams/Mars Volta show 2 years ago and nobody was touching my back), and there are plenty of people to help if you get lost or anything. Going with some friends is a definite good idea. But, yeah, it is a pretty crazy place/weekend. Edit - Wiki tells me they're from Cali.

10,000 Lakes is something that just goes right over my head. Their headliners are like the B-level bands at Bonnaroo, then they have some middling national acts, then a bunch of Midwest locals that can be seen for $5 or less at bars all over the area. And only 'jamband' bullshit...no hiphop, no heavier rock, no electronica, just the same ol' same ol'. It's almost the exact price as Bonnaroo, too. What do you mean by how you would fare, Czech? Is it the whole Woodstock-vibe thing?

That big finish was an internet highlight.

I'm not talking to you. You aren't typing gibberish about Brian Urlacher. Naiwf should just stop.
