He clearly doesnt participate in this board except to do things he knows the majority of posters will dislike. He was offered to sell his board. He could then get rid of the thing that he only complains about. He chose not to. It's kind of like a poster who spends her entire day here, whines about the immaturity, then never ever leaves.

Except the part that Mike is the main owner. He did not sell the board. He owns the board. I'm going to guess that if he would take up someone's offer to buy the board, he wouldnt own it anymore. But he'd rather show up every so often to protect you and wildpegasus.

A weird thing about politcal/history books. One of my favorite books ever (from all genres) is Robert Kennedy & His Times by Art Schlesinger...but many of his other books (Age of Jackson, 1000 Days, Imperial Presidency, etc), while being very informative, are very difficult to read. It's as if he often tries too hard to make sure every reader knows how intelligent he is and forgets to write history in the gripping fashion that it so lends itself to. In the Bobby K book he somehow managed to bring forth the emotion as well as the facts.

I just finished John Ehrlichman's memoirs of his Nixon years, Witness to Power, and enjoyed it. Im proud that this thread has gone 10 pages.

Peter Galbraith (JK's son) wrote a pretty good book on the Iraq War as well and gave a great speech about it on CSPAN recently.

I never understood that complaint about Heenan. The announcers were all playing paranoid at the time and it seemed like the perfect thing to say, especially for a guy that had feuded with Hogan for a couple decades.
