Hasn't that been one of the main parts of this storyline? -
I'll never forget the day he taught us that Warren Harding caused the Depression and started World War 2.

The problem with the Cabinet hasn't been its size so much as its personnel. If there could be less patronage, that might help. But, as the 1960s showed, even the 'best and the brightest' can pan out terribly.

Wasn't he trying to turn a new conservative leaf just before dissappearing?

The St Pete Times is reporting that the HBO 12/2 card will have Winky Wright vs. Ike Quartey (Bazooka will make at least a million for this fight, good to see him not suffering from that 'loss' to Forrest) and the return of Jeff Lacy.

I seem to like Imitation of Life from whatever record came out around '01 more than most.

That's what the Wisco deviants do over in Walworth County. -
The ring is filling up with blandness.

The only **** matches I remember seeing on Saturday Night were Flair-Steamboat and Flair-Sting from 1994.

How 'bout people that complain about paying taxes, but do? -
McGovern became the choice of the liberal/dove/Bobby Kennedy group after Bobby was killed (Gene McCarthy couldn't seem to come to terms with Bobby's side, and Hubert Humphrey was frowned upon by any decent person) in 1968, but didn't run in the primaries. His efforts (and McCarthy's) drew the ire of LBJ's meatpuppet in Chicago, Dick Daley...that convention was the ultimate domestic abyss of the 1960s. McGovern would lead a reform of the nomination process over the next couple of years and rode a wave of brilliant grassroots campaigning to the Dem nomination in 1972. During the general election however the Dem Party couldn't quite bring itself together for McGovern, and his staff led by Gary Hart were not in the same league as Nixon's crew. The hippies as a bloc did not vote for, or support, McGovern (or anybody else). Funny picture, though.

Shouldn't that be McGovern '72?

Rohbots, get it? Hahah!
