Y2Jerk had said something like, "Hillary thinks she campaigns like Bobby Kennedy, but, really, she's more like Ted." I found that superior to the student council joke. And, I honestly don't get why more Republicans/conservatives don't vote Libertarian. It covers all the actual bases of conservatism (legitimately lower taxes, smaller gov't, less rules/laws, personal freedoms, etc) but without all the Republican trappings of massive gov't, heavy taxes, and focus on banning homosexuals and such. I can see the real difference between Democrats/Libertarians being the tax issues...but with Republicans, is it just that these social wedge issues are just too important to some people to let go?

OLN tonight... Zuniga-Zertuche was really fun to watch...I thought Zuniga did win by a point. A third fight would be fine by me. Kid Diamiond just demolished poor Jairo Ramirez. It was two brutal knockdowns, some slow torture, and a horrible gash to the eye to finish things off. And, Wally Matthews is an annoying dick.

Edit - Looks like it was the great team of Biden/Durbin/Grassley/Leahy/Hatch that spearheaded the RAVE act and kept America safe from bottled water and glowsticks.

Yeah, it was Lautenschlager that had the dui. Her opponent in the primary was intrumental in banning electronic music from the Coliseum as it would have killed everyone or something. Pretty good choices. The judge in the county I live in is notorious for drunken driving.

We're getting the old standby again. Herb Kohl doesn't have time for platforms. I was really intrigued by the rumor of Tommy Thompson running in this race. Kohl, and Gov Doyle as well, were really let off the hook this year.

Here is Wisconsin we have a libertarian choosing to enter the Dem Senate primary than go the third party route. Hopefully he can get on the general election ballot for the party he really should represent, as he won't put a dent in Herbie Kohl.
