Manny Pacquiao is opening as a 7-5 fave over Erik Morales for their rematch in January. Morales is being vastly underrated here due to his upset loss to Zahir Raheem a few months ago...Raheem is a far different fighter than Pac-Man and this will be a much different/better fight for Morales. My suggestion - Bet on Morales...now. He wont be the underdog by January.

Showtime and HBO exclusives? Whatever happened to ESPN's Friday Nite Fights and USA's Tuesday Nite Fights? Too bad there was little to no follow up to the boxing reality shows. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah...those guys require either HBO/Sho subcriptions and/or ppv to watch. But to say all boxing is in the shitter because its not on free tv is the same as saying theres no good pro wrestling in the world just because the wwe blows dogs for quarters. Friday Night Fights is always hit or miss...and isntback on the air until Jan. USA hasnt had boxing on Tuesdays in at least 5 years...but ESPN2 does a TNF run every summer. Also, Fox Sports Net has fights as well on free tv. Espn recently had a a show of rematches from the first Contender live from Staples Center on a Sat night. The next installment of that series is starting to hold auditions now.

Try watching the under-250 pound set... Reid still runs the label. Jay-Z only makes money off of the sales of Roc-A-Fella artists and the only Roc artist worth a shit is Kanye West. The rappers he's tried to develop on his own have failed miserably (Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So, let me get this right... Jay-Z is actually president of a label...but that doesnt count because you say hes a 'figurehead'. 50 Cent isnt actually in charge of anything....but he is on mtv ALOT with screaming children, so he clearly runs the rap game. Hope he doesnt put those preteens he runs into a 'chokehold' By these credentials, R Kelly is the Lord of the rap game. Hes got the kiddies wherever he wants em...50 cent hasnt even pissed on a child yet!

Theres not many, but a few people continue to think that Favre is struggling, or 'getting old', etc....to actually watch him play this year is just amazing. He doesnt look at all removed from his prime and clearly has a few good years left. Its a shame that Green Bays front office isnt showing him the proper respect by giving him a good team to work with...and add that to this horrible string of injuries and Favre numbers this year are even more impressive.
