You might not want to base all your opinions on Shawn's RF shoot...

People hate Tool and Nirvana?

The Roots seem pretty well liked in Wisconsin. They totally scorched a rainy Milwaukee last year during Summerfest...and seem to stop by the Rave on every tour. My last band was doing a jam of Seed 2.0 at most of our gigs a couple months back and that always went over nicely. But, radiorap is far more popular around here. Spose that goes for everywhere though.

Yeah, Ive always had to defend the Dead against retarded comments about how its 'not the same without Jerry'. I realize its not the same...but seeing as how he died before I started going to shows, its pretty cool to still have had the chance to see some amazing 4 hour shows with a very talented guy like Haynes in Jerry's place. I guess I prefer having something good over having nothing at all. CD04, do you mean The Dead (as they currently are) or The Grateful Dead version (when Jerry was still alive)? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Both. I actually really like the new Dead, especially when they have Warren Haynes playing and singing a lot. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Numerous reports from recent Audioslave shows suggest that Cornell's voice is shot. I havent seen them myself so I cant say for sure...but Ive heard a few recordings and it does sound bad sometimes, and the negative reports have been plentiful. Im guessing that hes hit-or-miss these days live...and puts in some long hours at the studio. What better way to sound good live than to follow seether?
-
Didnt they cancel their tour?
-
They dont want to risk being overshadowed by the support. Especially with Cornell's voice being rather questionable these days... Some bands (Slipknot, U2) always take out good bands on the road with them. Im sure it has alot to do with the main band's ability to put on a good confidant live show and whether or not they easilly go along with the wishes of record labels.

Gin Blossoms - Allison Road

If they go straight into Batista/Orton...does that mean we get a few dozen more Rey-Eddie matches?
-
Anybody going to the upcoming Our Lady Peace shows? NIN tour? Ministy/RevCo next year? The one show coming up I really want to see is Antony & The Johnsons and CocoRosie.

Thanks for the reports...Im just now getting electricity back in my town after a tornado nearly destroyed it entirely a few days ago.

Ridiculously overplayed in my area...along with linkinpark, crossfade, nickelback, etc.

My goal for the year was to see 150 new bands...but it looks like I'll fall about 35 short. Too many things have come lately and my concert intake has dwindled sadly.
-
Metallica would be perfect for ozzfest...they could just have linkin park, limp bizkit, and godsmack open for the again and call it a festival.
-
Ill pick that Thunderqueen match. Cant think of an example off the top of my head though.

I dont recall Slipknot rapping...
