He can write a book about Pearl Harbor and work at Fox News.

Do we still think that "looking into the soul" is a viable foreign policy?

I had long predicted that Johnboy would be Obama's AG, if he wins. I scratched that when the hilarious Enquirer story broke a couple weeks ago.

I believe John Cleese wrote the legislation.

Three consecutive MVP awards isn't a lifetime achievement thing.

If people don't give a rat's ass about those green things in their wallet or their own or their family's physical selves and instead wish to be led to care solely about abstract bullshit that will not have any bearing on their actual existences, then Glen Beck would make as good a candidate as any.

Ouch. After seeing the replay, Margarito-Cotto has to be the fight of the year so far.

He almost always struggled in Tampa Bay back when they were in the division.

If the Democrats were the ones speaking in an empty House, how many times would the Liberal Media have referred to it as 'political theatre' by now?

James Jones? Didn't he single-handedly lose a game to Chicago last year?

I don't know. I've seen Radiohead and I can think of a few bands that I've seen that have put on a better show... Kings of Leon, The Strokes, Oasis, The Black Crowes, The Raconteurs... all come to mind. All of those bands? Really?

They're trying to outdo last season's implosion.

Some lady on Hardball today accidentally referred to Bayh as "Birch." She didn't even look like she was old enough to vote when Evan's dad was blazing a bland trail throughout Indiana.

Latest polling indicates that the American electorate is living up to its reputation. It's tied up under the assumption that Obama is really Paris Hilton in Al Jolson blackface.

Glen Beck told you that Obama is a bad speaker now?

Brewers finally won a game.

I wish I shared your optimism about the American Voter.

Probably. But I'm definitly not going to delude myself to thinking that his policies are better than Bush/McCain's, not because they actually are but because I like the letter by his name. If I disagree with anything he does on the campaign or if he becomes president, I will say so. I do not give free passes to one party for doing the exact same bullshit as the other. Will he be better than McCain or Bush Jr? Absolutely. But I am not so blind to think that what he does is perfect even when it is no different than what we might otherwise view as evil.

Wait, you actually think that by changing the label given to their mission that the idiots over there will stop setting up roadside bombs? Do you really think that the supply and support vehicles that are most often hit no longer will be, simply because a different term, in English, has been given for what they are doing?

Unrelentingly dumb. Where do you expect these people to find the money to move into a city? When the cities become impossibly huge, will each block have a train station? Will the fed. Govt force people who've lived in their smaller communities for generations to move to a new big city? Will the magic trains be built first so people can afford to move the truckloads of belongings to their new homes? Do the factories and farms in smaller communities get torn down or are they left to erode? How much pollution and congestion are we looking at with everybody living side by side? As an environmentalist, how can you condone destroying all of the outlying land that will have to go to make room for these exponentially expanding cities? Do the people living in the cities already have to move to the the expanding outreaches thereof to make room for all of the trains that will be needed? Will there be any concern for all of the historic and scenic buildings, parks, and such that will have to be overrun for the city expansion? Are family vacations going to be prohibited? Will roads be maintained despite the lack of usage thus wasting more taxpayer money? If they are not maintained, does that eliminate anybody's freedom to wander elsewhere by any means other than the magic train? When a train, as the only allowable means of conveyance, experiences technical/mechanical problems will it be a day off at every concecting office, factory, school, etc? Will all food be grown in factory settings within the cities?

Again, I'm not, under any circumstances, voting for McCain. I have absolutely no clue where you got the idea that I am. Why the fuck would I disagree with Obama's enjoyment of domestic spying & desire to stay in Iraq but vote for a guy even more infatuated with those concepts? Whether you're obtuse or plain dumb, I don't know, but, please, just stop.

I'm saying you're an idiot for thinking having a large force being used in a foreign country magically becomes cool only because of the letter next to a politician's name. I then provided an e-historical precedent to show how you tend to consistently form opinions solely based upon that letter.
