I will be surprised to not hear 'flipflop' at least a half dozen time...probably at least ten... Unless Bush was told what killed him in the first debate, and what seems to have hurt Cheney's performance in the minds of the American public, he will probably continue to dodge questions and revert to 'flipflop, flipflop, flipflop'...

When was the last time they used WMDs as the reasoning for war?... Hasn't it been 'Saddaam was bad' for awhile now?

DC is grand...electing crackhead mayors...but the police force will lock up a quadriplegic for a small amount of marijuana. Then allow said handicapped person to die. DC is like all the worst aspects of Harlem combined with the Mall full of shitty tourists...ugh.

Well, looking at the city of DC, you see why Congress removed the power of the local gov't. Man, does that city have NO ability to govern itself. -=Mike Obviously. It is pretty embarrassing that our nation's capital seems to be about 75% slum.

As does Bush, but his record and errors are more high-profile. When Bush will begin talking about the positive recent economic numbers, Kerry will fire back with the emotional anecdotes, and state that we're "still worse off than we were prior to 2000." Then he'll say he "has a plan for the American people." And Bush will simply mention that he was given an economy where the dot-com bubble burst, 9/11 happened, a recession was already underway, and the biggest corporate corruption scandal, caused in part due to some LAX enforcement of laws on the part of a certain administration that came before him. And Bush could also mention that his policies minimized the damage and shortened the recession so that our numbers are even better than the "economic powerhouse" Clinton ran on in 1996. -=Mike You actually expect Bush to make a statement like that? Upon having his economic failures questioned his response will be more like: "Uhm...er...(weird scrunchy face)...my opponent is a flipflopper...(smirk)"

The city of DC never shocks me...a town where you can clearly see the Capitol Building just up the street from a nasty ghetto.

This has been a pretty interesting game... Its nice to see ScrapIron Garner seeing some managerial success after leaving my pathetic homestate favorites, the Milwaukee Brewers.

Im a libertarian volunteer for Kerry and Feingold, so Im seeing a wide range of retardation... The nuttys on the left are calling Bush a new Hitler, shouting at me for being libertarian, etc... The crazies on the right are saying that the gays and blacks will take over, Kerry is a robot cheater, and calling me a 'queer Russian'... But these are the handicapped exceptions - Most people I have encountered are pretty thoughtful people, on both sides.

Oh, come on 2Gold...these are random acts, I dont think the majorities of either campaign's supporters are acting like this.

Might as well do it before...then you can free your Friday evening up for recreational drinking.

True story - I was called a 'Russian queer' for working on the John Kerry campaign.

I think the boss was actually John Kerry in a mask...

It seems to have been corrected now... I enjoyed the Badnarik mention, I think it goes without saying that a Libertarian could cause great harm to Bush...since Bush's economic 'conservativism' has led to quite the spending.

The growth of Wal-Mart-esque jobs is absolutely booming.

"Mr. President, you speak often of 'flipflopping'...what are your thoughts on not being for a Dept of Homeland Security than changing your mind, not wanting to testify before the 9-11 commission then changing your mind if VP Cheney could join you, saying that America should not going around dictating the ways of other nations and then changing your mind to attack Iraq, and claiming to be a unity and then changing your mind to divide your country?"

Because real life doesnt matter...words tell the whole story.

Laws or issues that you support or want adopted

Allow most felons (depending on the crime) the right to vote after they have been released Legalization/taxation of marijuana; funding for the medicinal studies of marijuana and MDMA Create an extradition policy between the United States and Taiwan (or any other nations where currently have none) Lower the legal drinking age to 18 Have a mandatory voting/civics class for juniors/seniors in high school Mandatory minimum sentences for violent crimes Legalize and provide better/safer control for prostitution and gambling Increase the minimum wage by at least 1.50, with help of the business tax-cuts, so that poor/middle class families can exist in far greater living conditions (yes, this is the major issue where I disagree with my libertarianism) -
Considering the route that the polls are taking right now, both popular and electoral, Bush really needs a hugely good performance on Friday night... If not, any lead he might have right now will probably be completely gone by Monday morning....perhaps he should take Friday off entirely from campaigning?

Dean would have been better....but he would have eventually gotten McGoverned by the Dem establishment. Of course, Kerry seems to be doing quite well these days...unfortunately for Bush, its the American public that decides the election and not the Republikid characters here at TSM...and the polls definitly show Kerry evening the race up with the President.
