Seriously, would it have been all that difficult for the WWE to go a 2-hour show without making referances to death? Is death really that integral to professional wrestling that it simply must be used storyline-wise in a building where a popular and loved man tragically passed away just 5 years ago? The WWE couldnt have left death out of the show? The writers couldn't remember the sad history of that building? For me, Owen Hart will always be the first thing I think of when I hear about that venue...why cant the people who are paid to write about wrestling capable of the same? Why is implied rape an appropriate storyline? Woman-beating? Constant eferances to 'killing, dying, death'? I agree with TripleR, there is no legitimate excuse for why the WWE does such things...it makes the company and fans look terrible to the public, it can hurt the people directly involved, its damaging to young viewers, and it doesnt increase business any(if one looks at it from that perspective).

I really enjoyed (and by 'enjoyed' I mean 'was sickened by') a missed passintereference call in the GB-Indy game because the nearest official tripped and fell on the sidelines...

The only person that Roy shouldve fought, but didnt, was Dariusz Michelchzweski...and D.M.(WBO 'champ') didnt want to fight in America, and why should the (real) champ travel?

speaking of Don King, he is making his heavyweight client Lamon Brewster, give Holyfield a title shot next......UGH. Seems to me the next logical fight should be Klitscho, seeing as Lamon has been talking the shit about Vitali.....but that is Don King for ya. Holyfield is scheduled to fight Larry Donald on a Nov13 DonKing ppv card. http://www.boxing-central.com/modules.php?...rticle&sid=5008 Also being reported on Boxrec.com schedule...very reliable sources. If Holy gets a rare victory then hes penciled in to fight Brewster(WBO 'champ') next. Also, no revsionist history, Roy Jones is one of the most talented boxers of all time, and probably the best 'all-around athelete' to ever fight.

Unless Letterman retires as well, it would be a really tough decision at that hour for a lot of people in 2009... -

Im pretty sure that going up to heavyweight, then moving back down to 175 hurt Roy...he reached a peak with that Ruiz fight, then went downhill steep in the short time since. And, Hopkins has said he wants to reach 20 defenses of the middleweight title, so he will probably fight the winner of Tito-Mayorga, or someone else in that weight neiborhood before fighting Tarver. This is mere speculation of course...and Tito/Mayorga's Don King affiliations might hinder a Hopkins fight anyway.
