If you use drugs, you're with the terrorists

Yeah, I've known a few people who loved eating Oxys like candy, and it can really mess you up. But how many families have been destroyed by someone taking their legal prescription in accordance with doctor's orders? Not many, I'd guess. Safer, sure. You can't OD on weed. But non-addictive? Please, any serious pothead will tell you that's bullshit. And "effective" as a painkiller? It can give you a mild body buzz, but as for serious crippling pain, your average Tylenol is more likely to have an effect than maryjane. Many families are hurt by oxycontin prescriptions....that stuff is highly addictive, and effects everyone who uses it very strongly. Its not just recreational usage...its a guranteed side effect unfortunately. It comes from the same plkace as heroin and thus has the same inherant results. Many many doctors will disagree with you on the last point.

Dead wrong on a couple counts. First of all, there's no such creature as a heroin-based painkiller, and methadone DEFINITELY isn't a painkiller a doctor is going to perscribe someone. I see what you're going for, but it's terribly incorrect. Pot doesn't even work in the same fashion. If your back is in terrible pain, and you smoke a joint, you're going to be high, and your back will still hurt. The placebo effect could do wonders for the patient, but it's really not a suitable analgesic. Morphine actually changes the chemistry of pain. Sorry guy, but methadone has been prescribed as a midterm painkiller while patients get hooked on other pills... Morphine, oxycontin, etc are heroin based...this is common knowledge. They all come from the poppy plant, all have the same effects, and consequences.
  4. Gotta add the thousands of families that have been hurt by massive joblosses under his watch to the list.

Cute fact- Under todays American drug laws, Thomas Jefferson would face execution for growing hemp as a 'drug lord'. Cuter fact- Marijuana usage deaths - 0 Obviously, the pharmaceutical lobby would be crushed by marijuana legalization...no doctor would continue to prescribe heroin-based painkillers that destroy families(morphine, methadone, and Rush's favorite Oxy) when a non-addictive, far safer, and still effective option were to be made available. And why wasnt that old terrorist Rush Limbaugh ever 'sent up the river'?

  11. Even that doesn't prove much. If you're not a high-ranking general, you don't have experience leading large groups. And you certainly wouldn't have much in terms of tactical experience to fall back on in a situation where military force might be needed. Anything less than a general and their war record is of little benefit. -=Mike I disagree. Simply because you have stars on your shoulders doesn't mean you have any real experience. Having stars on your soldiers usualyl means you have led troops in battle, which at least indicates some ability to lead. Senators, by nature, don't lead much of anybody. No, they know how to follow orders --- which is wonderful and all. But it's not the same thing as leadership, something Kerry has yet to demonstrate. -=Mike That's almost condescending to field leaders, Mike. Blanket orders don't cover everything that happens out there. If those guys didn't lead out there, they'd be completely slaughtered. Field leadership takes quick tactical reflexes and instinct. Mike knows...he recently retired after putting in his 20 years service.

    Another 9/11 conspiracy..

Right, I agree... Just looking for some info on the debris, or lack thereof...seriously, I dont even know how accurate those photos and videos are...Id just like to know where the airplane went. I find it just as hard to believe that the airplane evaporated as I do that there were missiles involved...

    Another 9/11 conspiracy..

I find this 'theory' very hard to swallow... Im in agreeance with those here who offer the 'what happened to those on the plane?' thought. But can somebody, one with knowledge of aircraft or explosions, debunk this theory? I dont believe it, but would appreciate reasons for the lack of debris and other facets of the theory video...

It has EVERYTHING to do with it. Any man who could endure what John McCain did in Vietnam doesnt need to 'grow any skin'. Its a sad state when so many people will worship a man whose only military experience is dressing up like GI Joe, and disregard the actual heroics of a John McCain.

    Willie Horton II

Nah, I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about things like the Veterans groups saying "he [McCain] forgot us" as though he was in Kerry's place doing Winter Soldier testimony. I'm also talking about Republicans for Clean Air. McCain would do the world a favor if he would simply, for the love of God, grow some skin. Jesus, he and Cleeland are the poster boys for the perpetually embittered. McCain slammed Bush far worse and lied about it far more often. So be it. He also bashed the Republican Party --- which, in a primary, is about as dumb a move as basing one's Presidential bid on 4 months of one's life that occurred 33 years ago. -=Mike ...John McCain just likes to bitch about things --- you know, like Nero... It appals me that a duder with no military experience or any known background in being courageous like MiketheRepublikid can say this about a man like John McCain... All in the name of following Bush like a sad lil pet goat.

50 Cent Booed Offstage At Reading

Clearly you only speak of the European festivals...which I have little knowledge of... But here in the states, we have Coachella and Bonnaroo. Theyre pretty good...Roo has zero radio/media affiliation, and an incredible lineup each year.

It would probably behoove the Kerry campaign to get a little dirtier themselves... If the Republikids can bring up 15 year old voting records and have their politico donors denounce Kerrys real military service...then the left should be getting Bush's 'we cant win' statement, awol military record, and economic/social record and Cheney's business corruptions, failed politics, Congressional voting records, and six consecutive Nam-era draft deferrments onto every television in the country. But alas, such facts are nothing but unpatriotic...one is not to question a sitting leader.
