Why can't Bush just focus on Bin Laden? Why was Iraq, a countrty that didn't and couldn't attack us, invaded? Why is our president focusing on an unrelated dictator while a man responsible for 3,000+ dead Americans is left free? Why do we allow the 9-11 victims to have died in vain...and continue to lose lives in Iraq? Why are there more terrorist attacks now than ever before?

Why not release this news 3 weeks ago? Why wait until rigt after the Dem convention? I have no idea how valid these tips are, nor do you...but why didnt he tell us right away? Why wait until his opposition is conveniently on their bounce from the convention? Why endagner the chance of a terror attack over the past couple weeks?

Spinks was not over the hill, he was undefeated and had just beaten the great Larry Holmes twice...the only spot against him vs. Tyson was his inactivity. The Ruddock fights were after Tyson got beat by Buster Douglas. And Ruddock has been historically underrated. Berbick, I think thats what you meant, was world heavyweight champion and got totally destroyed in a matter of minutes. Thats a big accomplishment for a young Tyson. Also, remember that Tyson was an accomplished amateur boxer. Other Title fights - Bonecrusher Smith (wba champ) - W12 Pinklon Thomas(considered by experts of the time to be the next great heavyweight until cocaine took hold) - KO6 Tony Tucker (ibf champ) - w12 Tyrell Biggs(undefeated olympian) - ko7 Larry Holmes(legendary former champ, would go on to rejuvenate career years later) - ko4 Tony Tubbs (future champ) - Ko2 Frank Bruno (future champ, English hero) - ko5 Carl Williams (good contender) - ko1 Before winning the undisputed title Tyson beat a string of good fighters, veterans and contenders - Jesse Ferguson - ko6 Steve Zouski - ko3 Quick Tillis - w10 Blood Green - w10 Marvis Frazier - ko1 Jose Ribalta - ko10 Alphonso Ratliff - ko2 He beat alot more than bums...seriously, prime Tyson was one of the greatest heavyweight fighters ever.

Why did Bush choose to go public now, after the Dem Convention?...and not 3 years ago when the threat was made, or weeks ago when the administration received all this info? Pretty sad how it looks like politics is trumping national security in the Bush camp.

Tyler - Why not vote for Michael Bednarik?
-
What the hell do you THINK this is saying? Tyler and snuffy, you sound like delusional geezers. -=Mike Iran : We need nuclear power... for energy US : No...terrorist states shouldnt possess nuclear power Iran : But...we need energy! US : We will supply you energy....alternatives to nuclear forms, of course Iran : Uh...shit.
-
Mike - I agree (and I certainly hope anyone else does as well) that we shouldnt be providing nuclear fuel to Iran... However, it doesnt specify nuclear fuel, it could easilly mean 'call their bluff and give them (a different) fuel'.. And youre acting like a completely deluded nutcase.

That sounds about right... Those were the days.

Mike is beginning to show the terrible signs of a meth habit...

What was Russo's pseudonym at this time? Vic Viper or something like that...

Mike fought in every great American battle from 1812 to Iraq... Listen to him kiddies, the man knows courage...

Thomas Jefferson is largely regarded as our only libertarian president...and would thus today be a leader in obscurity.

Seriously, How often does the preview ever pertain to what the major angles really are on Raw?

Strange.. nobody else mentioned Clinton. Care to provide some proof to this claim? You mean short of the video of him, while at Monticello on the way to his inauguration, pointing to a bust and asking "Who's that?" The guide replied with "That's Thomas Jefferson" -=Mike And this means what? And, to patronize you Mike since Clinton's mention is necessary to you, who would Jefferson be more likely to hypothetically support - Bill Clinton or George W Bush?

I think I read in a readers digest about a year ago that John was hooked on Speed and that Jackie may have been too... There have also been rumors of cocaine use... But I think the cortizone is acknowledged as established fact.

I met Draiman before the first record came out...cool bloke, very intelligent... Disturbed > Finch
-
I like the JFK referance here... Jack was propped up on cortizone shots to be able to give all his famous speeches...New Frontier, Inauguration, etc... This story, true or not, is completely moot. Anit-depressants and medication is a GOOD thing, the only good that could come of a story like this is further studies of the value of new medicines(marijuana, mdma, etc).

I'm going to be in NYC on August 20-22...should be interesting.

Pretty brilliant posting, duder.

Riiight Mike... Rudy won't overshadow Bush at Madison Square Garden...
-
First off, thus the quotes, moron. You made it quite clear that Michael Moron wasn't your hero (and I'd feel even more sorry for you if he was). WAAAAAAAA, some chump told me to go fuck myself. How will I live? Oh the horror! This would be a prime example of intelligent posting... And Mike, seriously, youre beginning to type like a babbling lapdog...Kerry got a good response, and so will Bush next month...these observations should be in the realm of the obvious.

Am I the only one who thinks Tyson was NEVER that good? He never throws combinations, his form is terrible and his reach is ridiculous. He has freakish might behind his power punches and a true heavyweight's chin - but that's ALL. He's a boxer in name only. Find tapes of him from 85-89....possibly the best ever.
