Makes more sense then Bob Barr considering Barr's past doesn't really say "libertarian" unless he has changed drastically on social issues. He hasn't. I, of course, think it should be completely legal. I have not yet heard a single good reason for the current policy (plenty of terrible reasons, though). But expanding federal powers even furthur to go after clinics that people already voted to allow is nothing short of pathetic

Yeah, NBC has not once played the Rev Wright stuff, and definitly haven't gone along with the 24/7 loop strategy. And Chris Matthews never made mincemeat of an Obama supporter on Hardball for not knowing shit about his proposals. And there is no doubt that NBC doesn't air a show like SNL that got the ball rolling on the media-for-Obama canard that the media then believed and went extra hard against Obama. And Tim Russert always throws the kind of inane softballs like was seen on the last ABC debate. Arguments based on utter bullshit are funny.

I never said he did them because he wanted to or for good reasons. The point is, he accomplished several very good things. The same just can't be said for Bush Jr. The EPA was John Ehrlichman, by the way. Other than his efforts in Africa, the only other thing I can thing of with W is his handling of 9-11 immediately after the fact. The speech was good and the country, much of the world really, was rallied behind him. Sadly, in the wake of everything we now know about his actions before, during, and after that day's tragedies, he cant really be commended too much for that either. Edit- Also, the DEA busting up medical marijuana clinics after state referendums ok them is a new thing under George Bush Jr.
