I disagree...there hadnt been very much tension between Shawn and Benoit really, just a weird handshake and stuff. Nothing that built to HBK coming out and hitting his superkick. And it was always promoted as HHH-Benoit signing...I never heard any HBK teases, though Ive only been watching Raw the last few weeks and still no Heat/other shows. Yeah...that was a very good heel promo...until he kept going about 5 minutes too long. A heel doing ALL the talking and the face saying nothing is not good wrestling business. I know Hunters a better speaker than Benoit but there is no excuse for Benoit to be COMPLETELY silent while HHH talks for over 10 minutes. If he cuts it off about 3-5 mins earlier and lets Benoit say a sentence or two...I would call it a classic promo, on par with vintage Ric Flair. As it was, it was very good but long.

Has there actually been serious talk out of the WWE about this already? Or just rumors?

You really need to give 'thought' a try there duder If most fans were not interested, there's a strong chance they'd have changed the channel when HBK showed up, thus decreasing the numbers. If you're trying to disprove my theory, perhaps YOU should more thought into it, "duder". HBK was there for the last few minutes of a 15 minute segment. The ratings dont reflect by the minute or what happened exactly when HBK arrived. All this shows is that a HHH-Benoit contract signing which was heavilly promoted and no mention of HBK had ever been made prior drew a big rating. HBK means nothing to the rating...this isnt really that hard...is it?

Garvin got that lameduck reign because noone else wanted it. It was obvious that whoever got the belt than was just a transitional champ so Flair could regain at Starrcade. If my memorys accurate, I dont think Garvin ever defended the title on television.

Mesi has shown a good enough chin so I dont think Jirov can put him away. Jirov has the shakier beard, imo, so Mesi has a shot at a quick knockout. I honestly expect a classic, bloody war with Mesi getting a close decision(fairer than the Barrett fight). Theyll rematch in an HBO main event this spring/summer and Mesi gets the big KO. Thats my prediction but obviously it can go alot differently.
