http://www.newsweek.com/id/118240 How long before the Hillary line becomes "the less votes/delegates you get, the better you are!"
-
I really want to punch Smirky McAsshole in the face.

Boys, avenge me! Aveeeeeeeenge meeee!

He should be hitting her on- 1) Domestic issues: If she's the best bet for healthcare, why did she fail miserably when she actually had the chance to do something? 2) Foreign policy: If she's the one to be trusted, why did she refuse to look at the evidence/information before voting to go to Iraq in her only major decision on this front? How can she be the experienced candidate when her only major foreign policy decision was an uninformed failure. 3) Honesty/Integrity: Plenty of options here, beginning with the taxes. he should also- 4) Make a commercial out of Bill Clinton saying vote for thought/hope rather than fear in 2004

Repeating what I just said doesnt answer the question. Obviously, Americans tend to be incredibly gullible and naive when voting. But, why is it apparently impossible to consider their own actual lives? Is it really just that, gullibility?
-
I cant think of many other states that lost as many jobs as Ohio but still vote the direct opposite of their personal lives. None, actually.
-
It will end when we elect a president that doesnt think that attempted nation-building is really neat.
-
Has there ever been a state more gullible than Ohio? They lose so many jobs/soldiers yet go for Bush in 2004 and Hillary (whose "experience" includes NAFTA and supoorting the Iraq War) now. Why is it so hard for so many Americans to just look at their own lives, situations, and bank accounts?
-
See, they literally rolled out a red carpet for the arrival of Ahmadinejad, the "most dangerous man on the planet." McCain can say watever he wants but that's some pretty strong evidence that the surge hasn't done much more than cost more lives and cash.
-
Go ahead and re-read the post where I talked about McCain's chances vs. Hillary. I'm pretty sure I said hes "no worse than even-money" but I'm getting a bit old/crispy, maybe you're right and it does say something completely different. The post after Marvin's is the same mocking tone I take just about every single time I respond to anything he said. I needed to calm myself down much earlier in the day, though. I'll admit my immaturity over the Brett Favre news.
-
Was that supposed to be posted during the afternoon when I actually was spazzing out?
-
Glen Beck probably told him Hoover was among America's greatest leaders. And Frank Roosevelt tossed Stalin's salad on a regular basis.
-
Obviously, Marvin. We're a CULT! Of course there will be riots, what else is a cult led by a black Muslim in cahoots with al Qaeda supposed to do?
-
That was a pretty nice red carpet rolled out for Ahmadinejad. The surge is clearly working.
-
"You know what you're getting with Hillary" That's really dumb.
-
The longer this goes, the better McCain's chances become. He's already no worse than even-money against Hillary. Could very easily be four more years of the biggest government in history.
-
After watching it a couple more times, I think last Saturday's fight was the best I've seen since Corrales-Castillo 1, nearly three years ago.
-
Troy Aikman, Leroy Butler, and others seem convinced that Favre will still play in 2008. In Aikman's case, multiple concussions are a reasonable excuse.
-
If they go ahead with the 'W McCain' thing it'll be really dumb. It's a pretty simple task to cast McCain as a third term for Bush's huge-govt policies without looking like you're fucking five.
-
I would consider Huckabee to be the GOP frontrunner for 2012/16.

Reading Sometimes A Great Notion again. Never gets old.

He already admitted he's not really keen on politics. That pretty much leaves 3 options: 1) Avoid it all entirely. Clearly, not happening since politics has some interest for Czech. 2) Take cues from dipshits and be a Marvin. Czech aint that un-keen. 3) Be a contarian. So, just enjoy the Milky vibe that we all nuthug so tightly here.

She doesnt lead a cult, though. That's enough to be president right there!
