I'm not leaving the house today.

I hope it doesn't have to come to that!

Mike Bloomberg has donated so much money to Johns Hopkins that, I believe, he has his own helicopter landing on campus. Johns Hopkins is the biggest employer in Baltimore. The Baltimore vote swings almost all statewide votes in Maryland.
-
Bloomberg has been very good for Baltimore.

Maybe Oscar will fight Paulie Malinaggi in May.

Romney won in Nevada

This has been a very controversial tournament.

Will working-class Americans, again, believe the Republicans when they say they have/will cut their taxes? I've never been able to grasp how easily people can be led to just believe in that empty rhetoric when all they have to do to disprove it in their own lives is to look at their paycheck stubs.

Averaging out the approval ratings is probably the worst way to gauge a President. In the case of the Bushes, for examples, the averages will be badly swayed to the higher end by their one-time spikes at times of national crisis. Looking at his second recession, on top of all else (internationally & domestically), it will be very hard for any intelligent observer to places Bush Jr. anywhere but the bottom five.

ESPN says that Floyd and Oscar will rematch in September.

Edmund Morris' Dutch is the most frustrating biography I have ever read. He said he couldn't figure out Ronald Reagan so he created a fictional character to narrate the biography (and devoted at least a quarter of the book to him). This isn't really a recommendation at all.

And, really, Giuliani is the least qualified major candidate in quite some time as well. Scandal ridden, mediocre-at-best Mayor who presided over a national tragedy rather poorly but shined in the publicity end. Of course, he's always eager to remind people of all of his wonderful work in the Ronald Reagan Justice Dept. His campaign based solely on saying "9-11" a lot will definitly end up as one of the most pathetic ever.

Giuliani is done. Biting the head off a goddam chicken won't get him enough attention at this point.

Alex Haig's primary campaign in 1988. Very similar, actually, as both want(ed) to run as Superman-esque, way-above-the-fray candidates despite neither being superheroes nor with any less baggage than anyone else running during their cycles. It looks like Giuiani's bid will end just as miserably as the General's. Including general election campaign strategies, it's as bad as Dukakis' and Kerry's. Both of those guys could have won and didn't for nothing less their own personal fuckups. Kind of like Rudy. At least they made it to November, I geuss.

http://lacrossetribune.com/articles/2008/0...zealous_fan.txt Jesus Christ, Wisconsin.

Of course, he meant it. He knows that his party has proven itself very willing to bend over for any candidate labeling himself a Christian. Both the facts and their own personal lives be damned, that label melts the hearts of some of America's dumbest.

Looking more & more like it will be below zero for the game.

Does anybody but big-govt Republicans want the "Fair Tax"?

Middle ground has been found. And, Czech, I wont begrudge you a name change.
