He talks like a crotchety 50-year old. How could you be surprised?
-
The Hardy shirt is the only one in the initial post I'd even think about twice. The Orton shirt however, is priceless.

Goddammit, Marney and I agreed on something. (goes off to check Hell's thermostat)

Where's the part that says "believe everything people say?"
-
Umm, no, they aren't shooting for following the law. They're teaching them to how to get the most attention --- you know, spit and slap at cops, then scream "peaceful protestor" when they attempt to cuff 'em. -=Mike The worst I saw in that article was pie-throwing. Try again.

Thank you for bringing this "news" to our attention.

Maybe it's just me being a "whiny bitch," but it was awfully nice how quickly what I said was dismissed without proof of the counterpoints and turned into posting of pictures. I'm remembering again why I stopped actively posting in here.

A well written column: "Cold Turkey"
Art Sandusky replied to CheesalaIsGood's topic in Current Events
It's really more along the lines of enjoying reading literature by individuals who don't seem to be suffering from advanced schizophrenia and / or attention deficit disorder. Man, you must not read a lot of good works if you don't want to read anything by people who are completely and totally sane in your eyes. -
Has there ever been a 5 star match?
Art Sandusky replied to DangerousDamon's topic in General Wrestling
Eh, these matches (watching the DVD again now that I've brought it up in my mind) are certainly good, but I'm not seeing what takes them from good to great. -
Jeff...Hardy...Acting. 90% of WWE acting. Am I the only one who never thought of Jeff as gay once?
-
At least they're nice enough to try and train themselves to be civilized in what will end up being lawlessness on both sides of the protest line.

Whee, the regional destabilization is already underway. The Middle East is so fucked after we pull out of Iraq it isn't even funny. And couldn't some quick photographs show if Iran was building their military up or not? It isn't something like a plan that can be kept in someone's head, a military buildup would be a clearly visible thing. Iran denying is like saying there's no elephant in your living room when a large, gray, fleshy wall has blocked off the entrances to the room.

yeah, the fact that they are awesome.... No, but seriously, I thought the same thing the first time I watched them. Then a few weeks later i watched again and I thought they were pretty good, and then I watched again and I saw what the hype was all about. Try doing that, see if it helps. I've been trying to "get" these since I got the DVD back in December. I can't even figure out what makes his Rumble performance so special other than how long he was in there. The one match on the DVD I've enjoyed most by far is the Flair/Funk match. I mean, I love his character and his promos and general presence in the ring (as well as the mannerisms and selling of just about everything), but his offense-minded wrestling itself just hasn't struck a chord with me yet. -
They were actually pretty entertaining in the thread about their Smackdown trip to Toronto in the General Wrestling folder. Much, much funnier than the WWE fan-fiction they write. I mean, anything that makes me laugh is funnier that that shit, but the Smackdown trip piece was pretty goddamn funny.

I'm still watching these Flair matches on the DVD and wondering why they're so revered. Am I missing something? -
This thread hasn't been locked/deleted why?

If your assessment is that structure is equal to quality, go right ahead. It speaks more ill of you than his readers to say that you can't read something that doesn't have a visible blueprint to it. -
My guess is that since the place is probably damn near ringed with battlements and filled with loads of defense systems, it isn't too bad to reveal its location. Were someone to assassinate Cheney, chances are they'd get him when he's not in that underground fortress described above.

I try to keep my interpretations of things in the simplest way I can, because the later books get really abstract as far as Dave and his actual state go. I read all of them, but damned if I knew what the non-narrative part was about that involved Dave and HAL floating around.
-
His new shirt and the Scarface-inspired Eddie shirt are the two I really want.

As much of a fudgePackerbacker as I am, the '96 team shouldn't be on a top 25 of the last 25 years list. One of the best Packer teams ever and one of the better teams of the last 25 years in the NFL sure, but not overall in all of sports.
-
Shouldn't I be the one telling you that? Regardless of what side of the fence you're on with the subject, it just looks a little odd, doesn't it?
-
The utter lack of evidence that he wasn't involved.
-
If you can't prove he wasn't involved, don't comment either. And am I to believe that once I leave a company that I'll never have anything to do with it or talk to any former colleagues ever again, despite being one of the bigwigs in it? And no, there is no requirement for Cheney to prove anything, nothing illegal was done. It's just something that looks a little sketchy in the ethical sense. I could care less since the contract's been awarded, I'm more opposed to the "he said he didn't have anything to do with it, so he must not have had anything to do with it" viewpoint being so readily taken.

Anglesault's back, up in the WWE folder. I wonder when he'll come down here to see how all this went. It'd be funny if he expected us to wait for him to come back.
