2009 TSM Worst Poster Tournament: FINAL ROUND
Hitler Cubano replied to 909's topic in No Holds Barred
For those awaiting goldengreek's return, he will be unsuspended on February 3rd, 2025 at 9:52AM. At that point he will most likely be persuing middle-aged wang and be darn proud of it. -
That's funny, considering your IP is coming out of Dublin, which is nowhere near China.

Fuck Trevor Ariza, that douchenozzle.

BWAHAHA There's a match made in hell. Isiah and the Clippers? Oh man.

But Roho, I thought that generally speaking it's pretty taboo among a lot of Asians to date interracially. That getting old now?

2009 TSM Worst Poster Tournament: FINAL ROUND

goldengreek. I think Roho is definitely salvageable. -
I figured TSM had a penchant for complaining and nitpicking, but after watching that episode I knew there had to be no way anyone could complain about it. It was just incredible, definitely the best episode in a very, very long time.

See, I told you guys. Chris if I see you on, we're doing a multiplayer duel buddy.

This must be in Wisconsin and not in Illinois, I take it? Everything gets better when there's not smoking allowed. Here's that super duper fancy schmancy bowling alley near my house, by the way. Even their special is stupid. It's $3 per person per game, and then of course renting shoes cost like $10! That's borderline extortion if you're taking someone on a date like I was when I went there. It was like $40 for an hour, maybe a bit more, when playing time, shoes, food and drinks were all taken into consideration.

"Mama Said Knock You Out" tied "Mo Money Mo Problems" 17-17 "Criminal" tied "Buddy Holly" 17-17 "Nothing Compares 2 U" ties "Ghetto Superstar" 17-17 "I Only Wanna Be With You" ties "Brick" 17-17 "I'm Only Happy When It Rains" ties "Hey Jealousy" 17-17 That's a lot of ties, but I think I am okay with all of the coin flips except for Mama Said Knock You Out going over Mo Money.

I enjoy the atmosphere of bowling, going there and drinking a beer and eating crappy fried food and hanging out with friends. The closest bowling alley to me is way too swank- they renovated the hell of it recently and it has all these big screen TVs and pool upstairs and top-shelf liquor in a full-service bar in the middle and nice food and all that. As a result, the lane rentals got ridiculously expensive so I don't go as much anymore, and I haven't checked out the other two bowling alleys in my area. As for myself though, I'm awful. It seems like President Obama, for all the shit he gets for bowling a 125, is probably better than most of us are. I used to go a lot more often when I lived in California and went out with the guys all the time but since moving around, I've rarely gone and as a result I'm really awful at it. It's almost as if all my ability's shifted over into playing pool, which I'm far more fond of and play at least a couple times a week.

I'll have to admit I don't follow the NHL, or at least I haven't since the beginning of decade or so, so how did Gary Bettman exactly screw over every city and fan?

I'm in favor of anything that gives us more football, certainly. Preseason is necessary, but I think teams should still get into training camp when they do. My only concern is definitely just where these extra games are going to come from without expansion. Extra inter-conference games would be kind of annoying. Football has the shortest season out of all the major sports- we only get to enjoy it from about 4 months, including playoffs (Sept.-Jan.), and they're off hopefully training or in preseason the other 8. Compare that to baseball which starts at the beginning of spring, goes all through summer, and ends in the middle of autumn, just taking the winter off, or basketball which only gets the summer and beginning of autumn off. Then again, adding more games just takes a bit more meaning out of each individual one, and not every team would profit (in fact, franchises like the Bengals or Lions would probably lose more money in operating costs) so I hope they think over the implications of that.

I'm throwing another vote David Stern's way for fucking over the city of Seattle, and partnered with that, going along with the owners of the franchises rather than the fans, who are more important to a league's success. Also for having the worst officiating in all of the major sports.

Another Agent of Oblivion question of the day
Hitler Cubano replied to King Cucaracha's topic in No Holds Barred
I do some online gambling, and I've enjoyed going to a couple nearby casinos, but going out to gamble was mostly due to my ex who was a severe gambling problem and obligated me to take her. Funny enough, I would usually be the one who'd end up winning because I'd be much more relaxed and having fun and she was always really weird playing live. -
The Things That Anger You Thread.

That practice seems really pointless, especially since you appear like you're just signed off to anyone you block anyways, or you can just do the whole "block everyone that's not on your friends list" thing to avoid people signing on alternate AIM names to check you out. Last time I changed AIM names was only because my ex was going crazy stalking and pestering me however she could because she was upset over my telling her I didn't want to talk to her anymore. -
The directing in this episode was also spectacular, as well- there was a lot of different shots, effects, and transitions used tonight I hadn't seen all year, maybe throughout the whole series... It actually felt new and innovative for a change. From the very beginning to the end. Also, for those of you who were decrying the fact I was complaining about Hiro and Ando being gone for a whole month and that they need to focus on other characters, well this episode proves that wrong. It actually did a brilliant job of balancing all the characters whose storylines needed attention, wrapping up, or progressing. We didn't see anything from Nathan, Claire, or Sylar this week but we'll obviously get more of that now that Tracy (who was mostly just sweating in a room all season) and Daphne, who was one of the few female characters I liked but her death will probably motivate Parkman a bit more and honestly now that Hiro has his powers back, she's not really necessary. That whole Paris scene was insanely cheesy, but I liked it. Tracy's "ice mask" winking and/or shedding a tear as her last shot was REALLY corny, but she definitely went out in style... Pretty similar to how her sister went out. I wonder if Ali Larter is going to return as Barbara, the third triplet. Anyways, Bryan Fuller knows what the fuck he's doing. He used the characters better than they had been all season, and gave them direction and purpose.. I didn't have a whole lot of complaints about the show before, but the difference is like night and day.. It feels almost as if the entire cast and crew is more motivated now or something. Everything looked better.

Wow that Thanksgiving line-up looks awful. Happy to be on primetime for the first week two years in a row. NFC Championship appearance, 6-10 season, what's the difference? Titans-Steelers has nowhere near the same sort of appeal it would have later in the season either, when teams are at their peak defensively and beating the shit out of each other.

I am way too addicted to this Peggle game. I was at a friend's house on Saturday night and we all got drunk and played that. Found it super easy to pick up and subtly addicting, so I went ahead and bought it yesterday using 800 of the 1200 MS points I'd been saving for a while. I swept through the whole thing in like 3 hours. Maybe I've discovered a hidden talent.

Next up: A-Rod also receiving kickbacks from AIG.

We were raised in Massachusetts. Still, I imagine the sporting culture- or lack thereof- down there's probably gotten to him, especially if he's younger. Kids can never seem to make up their damn minds when it comes to sports teams.

KOAB, who's your team again? Lakers?

Ah, South Florida sports fans.
