  1. A few things from Smackdown I don't get why these guys aren't allowed to book most of their own matches anyway? Maybe we do complain too much about certain guys work in the ring when their being danced around like puppets by management.
  2. Here's an update from 1Bob For those who wondered about Ric Flair’s injury last night, it ended up that he only suffered a cut nose and lip. It appeared that he hit the ropes with such force that he could have broken his nose, but he didn’t. Steven Richards sprained his shoulder taking the finisher from John Heidenreich last night. He isn’t expected to be out any long period of time with the injury.
  3. Management was said to be very happy with what they saw of Christian working as a babyface with Lita at the house shows this weekend. I don’t know where they are going with the angle between the two of them, but the company now has some confidence that they could turn him babyface and have it work. Speaking of management, I heard that they are very happy with the recent work of Test and Maven, but the talk is that they realize that during her time out recovering from neck surgery, Lita was passed by the other divas. That is understandable since during that time, Fit Finlay made the women’s division his pet project and helped improve the quality of work performed in it noticeably over the last year. The feeling is that she will do the work needed to reach the current standard of women’s wrestling on Raw and be fine in the long run. HHH was carefully testing his injured leg a lot at the house shows this weekend to prepare for his match last night with Goldberg. He was said to be happy with how it held up and had, in my opinion, a solid match with the champ last night. Kane worked the house shows this past weekend with a really bad case of the flu. In Tacoma, WA on 11/22, Tommy Dreamer and Mark Henry got into it a little bit during their match. As best as I can tell, they were ticked at each other due to something that happened during the bout and got hot before eventually calming down later. It’s no secret that a lot of guys have gotten upset working with Henry, for what it’s worth. There were some somewhat scary moments on the ride back from the Yakima, WA house show on Sunday when the caravan of wrestlers had to drive through a snowy patch on the mountain road. Having had to do that myself in the past, I can tell you that it’s not fun, especially when you are not used to it. Credit: 1wrestling

    The O.C.

Hmmmm, maybe the kiss between Kirsten and Jimmy?
  8. A note on Stevie Richards from Raw last night. When Heidenreich dropped him, he didn't really get him extended, and Stevie landed on his neck, rather than back. The ref immediately put up the X sign to the back and went to a quick finish. Trainer and Doctor came out, and were checking Stevie for a neck injury, including checking his ability to grip things with his hands. A stretcher (Real medics) came down, but, eventually they fitted Stevie with a Cervical Collar and helped him walk up the ramp....obviously upset and in pain. A couple other notes. They used different pryo for Shawn Michaels than they usually do, and it just about smoked us out of the arena. We couldn't see about 1/2 of the main event as the smoke was too thick. The fight in the stands was right behind me at the time as well...some guy and girl trying to go at it. They were being detained by police when we left. When Flair got caught up in the ropes, the crack of his nose was audible throughout the arena. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he really did break his nose. Attendance was probably 6-7,000...a lot of area on the camera side tarped off. WWE didn't do a real good job of getting crowd noise on TV, I watched the tape last night when I got home, and it was much louder in the arena than it appeared on TV. They also failed to do anything to make sure the crowd was live. I attended two Nitro's at the E Center, and, WCW always made an effort to have David Penzer keep people going, and, let them know when they were coming out of a commercial break...WWE never let anyone know what was going on, and, a couple of times it was hard to tell....still, much better than the house shows they've run through here in the last 4 years. The O.C.

Here's this weeks preview Wasn't there suppose to be some big shocking secert exposed this week?
  10. Only time Beyonce doesn't lip synch is when she starts yelling and screaming and trying to go all James Brown "WOOOOO" stuff. The rest is all backing vocals and over dubs.
  11. Moonshine is the work of the devil!
  12. Alcohol!!!!!!
  13. I remember when SNL wouldn't let artist perform on the show unless they sing live and had a backing band, or used SNL's. A few years back when the Spice Girls were big they performed on the show and there was a big deal made over it because SNL made them sing live. What happen to the rules? Now I see Britney, Beyonce and others lip-syncing and music being played through DJ's and mp3's on the show. I'm sure there are other things that can be said about the show these days, but this really bugs me.
  14. I think he meant "Get A Grip" was Aerosmith's biggest triumph because it's their biggest selling album. 12 Million. It may be their top selling album, but it sure as Hell isn't their biggest triumph musically.
  15. OR, the guy, Angle, could just refuse to take the chair shot while their planning the match out. I mean, they have a good 8 hours to think these things up before TV.
  16. The Hell? KISS has been playing the same set for 20 years. Night after night. Take the make up off, put it on, bring clowns on stage, whatever, it's still the same songs. Aerosmith's set list changes every tour and every night.
  17. Rock and Triple H had too much stalling but Bret/Shawn didn't? Anyway, I don't think Angle needs to retire, he just needs to learn what he can and can't do.
  18. Fred Durst took a blow to the head while performing at a Back 2 Basics tour stop Friday, resulting in a trip to the hospital and seven stitches to his face. Near the end of Limp Bizkit's set at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom, the scrappy frontman climbed up to the first-level mezzanine while performing "Eat You Alive," the first single from the band's latest album, Results May Vary. While he was up there, an unidentified object was thrown from the crowd, hitting Durst in the face, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson. Bleeding profusely, Durst still had the wherewithal to finish the remaining two songs to cap Limp Bizkit's set. After the show, Durst was taken to St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital in midtown Manhattan, where he received treatment and was later released. The incident occurred nine shows into Bizkit's co-headlining trek with Korn, which began November 10 in Las Vegas and continues through Friday in Toronto. This report is provided by MTV News
  19. I think Bret's been away from the business too long to call a good match. A Bret Hart farewell speech I'm still up for.
  20. But, but, but......... Dames said no death threats?
  21. From Bret Hart's recent column over the weekend. I remember my dad, in his sixties, standing on the ring apron as my tag partner when we teamed up against Stomper and J.R. Foley. For me, those dreams are gone forever and it might sound crazy but it’s not my battle back from a stroke that makes it impossible, it’s only because Bill Goldberg nearly kicked my head off my shoulders. That one mule kick is the sole reason that I’ll never be able to come back and have classic dream matches with the likes of Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit or Brock Lesner. Then again, I’m just happy to be alive and I don’t dwell on these things much any more.

    Trish + Jericho

Jericho would never lose all his heat. He could BUTT rape a 12 y/o boy with Michael Jackson in the ring and still be over.
  23. Randy Savage's run was the best. He was easily the number two star in the promotion and many people think that his drawing power at the time was almost as good as Hogan's. He also had the best blowoff to end his run of any IC Champion ever. That's true, but I don't remember Savage having as many good matches as Hennig did as IC champion. Also, I agree with Savage/Steamboat blow off match, but Perfect/Bret was nothing to sneeze at either.

I have no idea where the Jericho/Trish/X/Lita storylines are going and I love it! Entertain me and keep me guessing ya bastards!
