  1. Without doubt, Vince Russo. However, there would have to be somebody above him to filter through some of the horrible crap he comes out with, like Vince McMahon did during his WWF run, and I don't mean Stephanie McMahon. She just seems to let any crap filter through becuase her writers are from Hollywood, so they must be great.
  2. The Hart Foundation angle in 1997. It was the best period of Bret Hart's career and, probably, my favourite era of wrestling. He was fantastic in the role of the heel leader of that group, part of some memorable angle/matches and was unbeatable on the mic.
  3. I really don't understand how this is true. I can't think of one great promo this guy has ever done. He drones on because he has nothing interesting to say.
  4. I know Jericho's contract is expiring soon but I didn't think he'd be able to go full time with Fozzy due to finacial reasons. I mean, the band has to make him a lot less money than wrestling does. Maybe, if he leaves WWE to tour more with Fozzy, he'll sign with TNA. It seems the most sensible thing for him to do. That way he can still make money from wrestling and be able to do the band thing as well.
  5. WWF Winged Eagle. I suppose it got chosen for nostalgic reasons seeing as it's belt I grew up seeing defended.
  6. "Jerk It Out" - The Caesars
  7. I'm sure I read somewhere that he works as an agent. But, perhaps he's both.
  8. Yeah, but that was bound to happen when promoting the PPV. They obivously had the matches they wanted to go with in mind and pushed them on TV. However, it was still up to the public if they agreed or not.
  9. I heard "Main Offender" by The Hives yesterday on the radio. I hadn't heard it for about a year.

  11. I thought the voting was legit? Anyway, I actually liked Taboo Tuesday. I thought it had a different feel about it and seemed like a breath of fresh air for WWE as their PPV's seem to follow the same format every time and it has grown stale.
  12. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Great JBL in another main event. I can't believe this guy has been in every Smackdown main event for over a year now. Can't WWE push somebody new? I mean, they have Christian on the show so why not push him? I don't mind seeing Undertaker/Orton again as I like their match at Wrestlemania. I do think that they need to put Orton over this time and then put him into a feud with Batista after that.
  13. Fucking typical. I really thought that Christian might end up getting a main event run and/or a title this year. Don't WWE understand that the time is now as far as pushing Christian is concerned? Oh, that's right only guys WWE says will get over can get over. If guys try themselves they let them build up some momentum and then bury them. Silly me. Fuck WWE and UPN.
  14. "Shame & Scandal" - Madness "The Back Room" - Editors "Clor" - Clor
  15. "Camera" - Editors
  16. That was great. As for the album...dear Lord. However, as much of a "Real American" rip-off that it is, I can't help liking "American Made".
  17. "The Three Pyramids Club" - Suggs "Universal Madness" - Madness Also: "First Step Beyond" - Madness "The Three Pyramids Club" is a great album. It's a shame it was overlooked when it was released back in '98 becuase it's better than Suggs' debut album "The Lone Ranger".

    New WWE DVD's

Dude, that video sucked. As for Jericho, why don't they put out a DVD for him. The guy has had a decent length career and there is a ton of freat footage from WCW in 1998 that I'd love to see on DVD.
  20. "The Business" - Madness
  21. http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk/content.php?contentid=57874 These sets look awesome. You can check out larger versions of the cover art here: http://cgi.tripod.com/lady_deathtouch/cgi-...;num=1122042927
  22. "Grey Day" - Madness
  23. I thought it worked fine for the Big Show/Giant and when he was in WCW. It was oddly ominous. The same could be said for Raven (even though his WCW music ruled). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> On the other hand it doesn't always work. Take Doug Furnas/Phil LaFon when they were in the WWF in 1997. I think they were billed as the most dynamic or exicting tag team in wrestling, or something, and people didn't give a shit about them. Granted they didn't really give a shit any other time but I'm just trying to make a point. I think no music gives off the air of a jobber.

    New WWE DVD's

Finally, a 3 disc Bret Hart collection. I just hope they don't do a hatchet job on the guy like they seem to planning with Warrior.
