I doubt Orton will show up next week. Evolution will give a promo about why they did that to him while Orton will be selling the injuries, so then the week after people will still tune in to see how Orton reacts. EDIT: I would keep Orton a tweener though, as I think tweeners are the most real and interesting characters.

But Triple H trying to buddy up to Orton for a few months is more logical than Triple H immediately convincing Batista and Flair to turn on Orton. Sure Triple H wants the belt but it's also illogical that Batista and Flair would have no loyalty to one of their own. No. Triple H wants HIS belt back NOW. He's not going to play fucking children's games with Orton for a few months then decide that "it's time". Flair and Triple H have been together longer than the other two, so that's Flair's loyalty, and Batista always seems to have Flair as a manager, so he just followed him. Plus Triple H will probably say that Randy betrayed not just him but all of them when he won the belt.

Triple H wants the belt for himself. Why would he wait several months to kick Orton out of Evolution so that he could get a title shot? A logical story is better than a long one.

Orton has been getting good face pops lately anyways. As long as they keep him the same basic character and not have a sudden personality change, I think he'll remain over. He'll never be the next Austin or Rock, but I think he can been top face. As long as they do that and give him a good theme song and have him lose some of the submission/rest holds he does in the middle of the match, he should get over pretty good.

Waiting to turn Orton would have killed the story. Trips would never play the lackey and he probably felt betrayed that Orton won the title, and pissed that he beat Benoit cleanly, something he couldn't do. Waiting too long to do the Evolution beat down would have made Trips look like he was going into evolution's "past" role with Flair. Orton did the promo at the beginning of the show because that was his character. He's an arrogant prick. After doing something like winning the WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE, an arrogant prick would be gloating and saying how much better his is than everyone else; just like Orton did last night. Having him suddenly change personalities and make a generic "I like Benoit because we shook hands" promo would have been the problem, not what he did.

For all the people saying that they should have waited until January to do the turn: What sense does that make? Triple H (the character) is a selfish asshole who wants one thing: The World Heavyweight Championship. If they held off on the turn it would have made no sense for his standpoint. However, I also doubt that this will be the WM21 main event (That will be Cena/Orton).

I'm going to try the rehab thing. I'm getting killed with injuries here. Corey Dillon is now out for 5 weeks and the next game Tyrone Pool gets a career ending concusion. My whole schedule will be rehab pretty soon.

I'd be mad at the crowd too, but to be honest, I also got bored after watching three hours of people laying down and pretending to try to make their opponent(s) "tap out".

Only a few guys in WWE can work the submission style without it being boring as fuck. Most of the guys seem to think that now they can just rap their legs around the other guys head and lay on the mat for a few minutes instead of actually performing. The submission style would work but they need to keep moving while on the mat.
