My problem with that Ethan theory is then Desmond also had to know there were new arrivals on the island in the form of the crash survivors, which he claims he didn't. He goes on to say he hasn't been out and about on the island in some time. Then says Kelvin 'died,' which, assuming it is Ethan, he couldn't have known unless he just assumes so. The only way this logically could have worked is if Ethan exited the hatch and looked for his replacements... 'died waiting for his replacements,' as Desmond said, caught wind of the survivors, took notice of Claire, retrieved (from the hatch, without telling Desmond of the survivors, possibly because it would endanger the job) or already had on him some of the medicine to inject her with, then was shot and killed later. Then when he never came back, Desmond assumes he caught the disease and was thus a lost cause or was captured by the infectees and killed. One thing we know now from the transcript, though, is that Desmond has opened the hatch door and possibly has been outside occasionally, though probably not far from the hatch. It could have just been to let Ethan back in when needed, like in the scenario above, or to dispose of the body if Kelvin died while in the hatch.

Ouch. I think it'll be better than Anarchy Rulz, but in whose eyes, it depends. I expect something a more serious than their typical game, but it'll still be too arcadey in a misguided attempt to capture the X Division properly. Sadly, I have visions of what the Smackdown series used to be on the PS1, but with the obvious stuff like a larger roster and more moves, and better impact and sensation, since Midway is at least good at getting that down. And actually, they made the old Wrestlemania arcade game, but yeah, it may as well be their first.

Denver finishing behind the Lakers? I mean, I think LA will make the playoffs again, but nah.

You know, while AKI would likely be the front runner to develop the game, EA by no means owns them and there would be no guarantee that they would develop it. Anyway, EA has been awful the past few years in regards to business tactics and on the consumer side with stuff like Catwoman and Marvel Nemesis, and their previous WCW games left a lot to be desired. They really couldn't miss before that. I'm sure some would just rather not buy from them.

Your. PS1 also had the fighting games Nintendo didn't. And the third-party support. Give it up. The Atari has just been so completely eclipsed that it isn't really relevant or worth including beyond an honourable mention and a pat on the back. Not to mention the ugly stigma of being associated with the crash and indirectly causing it. When that happened it handed Nintendo everything on a silver platter, allowing them to reshape the gaming industry, with all games afterwards being crafted in their image. Atari wrote themselves out for good, despite futile attempts here and there to revive themselves. Even the 7800, released a couple years after the NES, just couldn't compare (though it was also years old technology, since it had been delayed and was sitting on shelves). I truthfully consider the Famicom/NES to be the true start of the industry, with Atari and others of its ilk being aberrations in a sort of Before Nintendo chronology.

How is the Dreamcast not higher. Surely it has to be higher than the fucking X-Box. I'm still surprised it got sixth, though, since I routinely question the intelligence of a lot of G4 fans and am shocked they can tie their own shoes. 10) Game Boy 9) X-Box 8) Saturn 7) N64 6) Playstation 5) Genesis 4) PS2 3) NES 2) Dreamcast 1) SNES I love the N64 as much as anyone, but the way it was designed and marketed did a great deal of perhaps irreparable damage to Nintendo. Still, 5, 6 and 7 on my list, I wasn't sure about, and you could probably move any of those around with each other. I'm not big on handhelds, but the Game Boy deserves to be in there somewhere, and I wasn't sure what I could replace it with since the Gamecube certainly isn't deserving and I have limited experience with everything else.

Common sense, hyperchord. The damage comes from the quick snap in twisting the neck and then impacting the jaw on the shoulder. Does that mean you don't buy the Diamond Cutter or Stunner at all? Because that's essentially what it is, just with a different set-up and a more impactful end result.

TNA's funeral home skit actually, you know, did something with storylines and furthered plots, involving actual wrestlers. Not to mention giving America's Most Wanted personalities, for once. That's far more than any of WWE's stuff does, especially tonights "comedy." See, I don't mind being crass and immature. But it has to actually be good, which tonight's skit wasn't.

That's why you just use someone else's video... for instance, my Paul London caw looks cool as shit coming out to Jindrak's video. Just to chip in, I got an unexpected demo late last week by way of Playstation Underground, although it was a stand alone with nothing else on it. I enjoyed it enough, but I'll probably just rent it or rely on a pal to buy the game before I do, with a purchase later once it gets cheap.

I had the home versions in mind with that statement, but ok, I'll take your word for it. I was really just going off the notion that it could be rushed with 'only' two years between home releases. I wouldn't know about arcade releases, since they don't exist here beyond a couple out of the way places. Plus my time with SC was brief and it's been a few years, and unless it's drastic, I don't typically notice gameplay changes anyway.

You're forgetting that both of those guys took over TWO YEARS to become champions in the WWE. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They also came in as completely unknown rookies and had to be built completely from the ground up in order to gain legitimacy and a fanbase, which Rhino already has, even if he had to wash off some of those bad WWE vibes first.
