I rented DOR2 for Gamecube today, just for the sheer fact that I hadn't played it and I'm trying to hype myself up a bit for this game. Well, the idiots at Rogers gave me DOR... the first one! I was wondering why the damn game seemed so familiar. That's what I get for skipping the intro... argh.

How TNA's game will do all depends on the developer, IMO. I personally hope they get EA BIG to do it. The same guys who do the Def Jam series. They based their system off of the No Mercy system, and tweaked it a bit for Def Jam 2 to make it more of a fighting game. So if they just stepped back a bit and made a wrestling game like before, it would probably be pretty good. As for SVR2006 - I'm getting hyped. The last one I got hyped for was HCTP and it honestly didn't disappoint me. I will still probably rent this one first, though. The only downside to that is that my local Rogers usually only gets 2 max copies of whatever wrestling game in, so it's never available for the first few weeks.

I never go to McDonalds.. couldn't they have done this with Starbucks as well?

I was just like.. waiting the entire film for zombies and none really showed up since the beginning until about 58 minutes into the movie.. and then they could talk.. what the heck? I mean, I can understand the people who originally caught the virus being able to talk, but that one orderly who got bit should've just been a mindless minion of the undead. There were just a ton of continuity errors that I missed on the first viewing because I was mainly paying attention to the makeup effects, etc. I am going to listen to the commentary tonight and see if the director is humble, or full of herself.

I don't think it would have. I mean, they could have at least put the match from Tuesday in Texas in there that was hyped all during the Survivor Series that year.
