  5. I happen to enjoy the works of Thomas Pynchon and John Barth and David Foster Wallace, so I like some post-modernism.

  7. "Bed for the Scraping" is such an awesome song.
  8. haha, IDRM cares about things.
  9. I have some live mp3s of them, circa '89. Sound quality is kinda poor, but, from what I can tell, they sound like they do on record.
  10. What was Bankywood. That was during my hiatus.
  11. I was at a CD Warehouse earlier in the day and almost bought that very album! However, the girl behind the counter was playing Modest Mouse in the store, and I didn't want to talk to her.
  12. I never read the site even when I wrote for it.
  13. Banky said him and his father were reading the board together and sharing a father-son type moment, but he (Banky) was probably lying.
  14. Last night, I stole the remastered copy of The Moon and Antarctica from a Wal Mart supercenter. My opinion on the album hasn't changed within the past however-many-years I last heard it.
  15. I'm just guessing I went to his Wendys. All I know is I saw he mentioned at WDI he worked at one in Jacksonville. So I might not be telling the truth vis-a-vis seeing him at Wendys.
  16. I think he took my order at Wendys, once. True story.
  17. I heard a rumor the Unicorns broke up. I hope it's true!
  18. Edwin will mention the Arcade Fire. He even keeps a countdown in his AIM profile.
  19. netslob and I live in the same town.
  20. Oh, post some you guys are looking forward to, I guess.
  21. Wilco, at the House of Blues in Orlando, FL, on 02/15/05 Slint, at the Metro in Chicago, Illinois, on 03/26/05 I wish there were more, but those two make up for the lack of worthwhile shows.
  22. I've said this numerous times (including in this thread), but the title track to The Bends is the best thing this band's ever done.
  23. Yeah, mine's very nice. I've added twelve more songs since last night (the entirety of the Kinks' Arthur album), so now I'm at a very Rush-ian number.
  24. Oh, I posted these to the wrong board.
