Really, though, I feel we're abusing the star rating system. Let's let one star threads be the only one star threads and five star threads be the only five star threads. How else will we know what threads are hot and what threads are not? If I were to believe the ratings as they currently are, I would have never opened Red Hot Thumbtack's thread re his filthy dog dick and its corollary urinary problems and appreciated it for the banger it is.

Must it be pointed out to you repeatedly that no one was talking about Radiohead's discography as a whole? It must, because here I am, doing it again. Coldplay obviously took cues from the early Radiohead, specifically the maudlin balladry of "High and Dry" et al. Okay, yeah, Coldplay did so without any sense of the dynamics involved with Radiohead's more "accessible" songs, but they're still lifting the sound. I don't get why you don't understand that. Are a Coldplay fan, tired of them being bullied around?

If I had to do it all over again, I'd avoid screennames that reference anything related to art—music, books, movies, etc. It's old hat. Now, I'd very likely pick a random word from the dictionary.

Banky. Except for a brief comeback earlier this year, I don't think he's been "banky" since 2002. Still, that's what we call him. Really, Agent of Oblivion, if you do change your handle, it has to be something that we already refer to you as, like Gene or, simply, Agent.
