  1. Readers digest Michigan was number 1. in both polls headed into the bowls. They beat Washington St. Nebraska number 2, looked like the runners up until Tom Osborne announced he was retiring. The coaches than decided they'd vote for Nebraska if they beat Tennessee.
  2. Series of the weekend. Twins at White Sox. The first series of the season between these two rivals. Who look like they'll be in a two team battle for the AL Central title.
  3. Why would CBS consider hiring Neal O'Donell? They already have Boomer Esiasion and former Dolphin VP Dan Marino. Two QB's not enough?
  4. Gammons seems to think Boone will sign with the Dodgers.
  5. I choose it's May. Reguardless of the Deion thread this poll is out of season.
  6. Not that he needs the money, but Deion could make big money has a public speaker.
  7. Come on Tyler. Hezbollah is condeming the timing of the act, not the act itself. They also think the U.S. was behind the murder.
  8. The White Sox wouldn't be hurt by a better 2nd basemen.
  9. It's early but has any team ever lost 100 games one year, had a winning record the following year, only to follow with another 100 loss season? I'm speaking of the Royals. With no pitching, and the possibility of Beltrane, and other players being traded before the deadline. I think it's entirely possible that scenario might happen.
  10. Verne Gagne is a local wrestling legend. That, and I knew the chances were good no one else would use it.
  11. He's always been an underachieving dog. The prototypical 5 tool player, he's never lived up to the potential.
  12. That WAS sarcasm..right? Funny, the same question could be asked about all your posts.
  13. The Packer dynasty of the 60's. Bart Starr Paul Hornung Forest Gregg Willy Wood Herb Adderly Ray Nitchke Henry Jordan Jim Taylor Willie Davis Vince Lombardi
  14. Suprising Palmerio is second in Walk to K ratio. Does anyone have any idea if they keep a stat on most times on base. That would include reaching on an error, a fielders choice or any AB that's considered an out on the boxscore.

    Bye Bye JIMMAH~!

How Jimmy Haynes survived in the league this long is really unexplainable.
  16. Didn't Ramirez move to New York City with his family when he was a kid?
  17. I keep getting this message when I attempt to use the audio file. Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly. I'm almost certain it's not functioning properly. If someone who could please help me getting the audio to work. It would be greatly appreciated.

  19. Send Lohse to the minors. I'm serious, he needs a wakeup call. Twins get the lead, and Lohse hands it right back the next half-inning.
  20. Luke Appling, Joe Jackson, Ted Lyon, Red Faber deserve consideration.
  21. I guess a win is a win, but the Wolves still haven't put together a truly good game since maybe Game 1 against Denver. They can get past Sacramento, but they don't pick up their game against the Spurs they don't stand a chance.
  22. I think the "Shannon Stewart for MVP" campaign is a good indicator that Jayson Starks is full of shit. Its worth noting that Crosby is still outhitting Rich Aurilia and Derek Jeter. How is Starks full of shit for writing what scouts told him about Crosby? Derek Jeter is in probably the biggest slump of his career, and Rich Aurillia has proven he was a one year wonder.
