I think you could also say that Mooch's play-calling sucked ass considering the personnel that the Lions had. With two or three talented recievers depending on how many bong hits Charles Rogers took the previous week, he should have taken more shots downfield. The West-coast style offense doesnt really work as well in today's nfl with 300 lb defensive lineman who run 4.7 40 yard dashes and 250lb linebackers who run like defensive backs.

Kawada is such a dick.

But, its Michigan State..... they have such an inferiority complex about Michigan that it wouldn't suprise me if they said bowl be damned and just got throttled like 78-3....or they could pull an MSU and win like 45-44 on some wacky play. If the team that should have beat Michigan and beat a really good Notre Dame team shows up, they should have a good chance of pulling the upset. They just havent been the same team since they fucked up the OSU game.....by the way Ohio State is going down in the big house 20-9

He talked about practice man, practice

I totally disagree. They have been curbstomping overrated Big 12 teams all season, and have one win over someone worth a damn, Ohio State. Alabama on the other hand, has to deal with reduced scholarships, injuries, and the fact that they play in the SEC, which even in a down year is still a much tougher conference than the Big XII is this season. If the Tide can come through the season unbeaten, is there anyway to decide who the best team is if you have three unbeaten teams. In all the other NCAA sports, they have this funny thing where you use the regular season to seed x amount of teams and let them play it out on the field. Who is to say Penn State, Miami, or Georgia wouldnt just destroy Texas in a neutral site playoff game. Until a playoff is instituted, we have no way of truly knowing who the best team is.

Detroit Free Press Article Civil rights leader Rosa Parks died today in Detroit at St. John's hospital on the east side of the City. She was 92 years old Discuss her life, her relevance to the civil rights movement, and any thing else, just don't turn this into an ignorant discussion before the first 4 posts
-
Yea, I was so pissed when the assholes who mugged Rosa Parks decided that they would pose as her captors until she called them out as suspects or something of that fact. Off all the old ladies walking around Detroit, they happened to pick the most important one, idiots

I'm certain if you don't like rap, just stay the fuck out of topics concerning it

You are kidding right, the Clippers as the three seed. I would love to see that happen. Also does anyone else think they need to get rid of automatic top seeds for the division winners. What if Detroit wins 60 games and Indiana wins 61, why should New Jersey have a higher seed with like 15 less victories, while Detroit has to play someone like Cleveland who could have more wins than the Nets.

I swear about 80 percent of the people on this board know nothing about rap music and disses. ICP is possibly the worst rap group in the history of metro Detroit. The guys are lame and they just can't rap. Eminem, Proof, Slum Village, Raw Collection, there are just so many people in Detroit that can flow that could have done wonders with the hype of ICP. The people who listen to ICP need to listen to real rap, meaning anything from Jay-Z to Outkast to A Tribe Called Quest, just anything semi-legitimate that is not garbage. Honeslty, I enjoyed the Macho Man cd more than anything that ICP has done.

I've seen the Red Wings win three championships, I've seen the Pistons win three championships, I've seen Michigan win national titles in field hockey, softball, hockey, and football. But the one thing that eats at me everytime I watch baseball, is that I was born 6 months after the Tigers won the World Series. I can't really even remember the 1987 run where the Twins somehow beat them. All Ive ever known about the Tigers for the last 15 years is that, they went from being an average team who struck out a ton and hit homeruns, to flat out bad, to worst team ever, and now hopefully they are in place to make a White Sox run next year with Jim Leyland. Still, I hear shit from my dad about the 68 and 84 teams and how awesome they were, and how the Tigers were always in the race for most of the 1980's. Maybe next year, we have a breakout year. But those White Sox, wow what a team, they were a joy to watch all year

Most people who go to NBA games, white or black, probably arent sitting there thinking well shit, Allen Iverson is wearing a 450 dollar throwback Oscar Robertson jersey. They are more pissed that they dropped damn near $200 dollars for tickets and expenses and the player they came to see is sitting on the bench with a groin injury. I really have never heard of one person who really cares what the players are wearing. Hell, we loved the little side deal Larry Brown and Rasheed had going in the 2004 finals with the dueling hockey sweaters. If the NBA is really concerned with image, then make the games more exciting to watch as far as showcasing the best basketball players in the world, instead of worrying about if Tracy McGrady is sitting on the team bus wearing a comped $400 dollar Addias track suit with a $10,000 chain. Let him wear it because the owner of the team is making more money off of him than the owner is paying him

Are you fucking retarded.....Leinart hands down, I mean granted Henne is a sophmore but Leinart was light years ahead of him when he torched Michigan in the Rose Bowl at the same age
-
Have you seen the hot pieces of white pussy running around Minnesota..... We all know brothas in Minnesota love the white chicks. Actually in all honestly the fact that the NFL didnt outright endorse the Saints doing something like this pisses me off
-
Are you fucking kidding me.... Renegade was possibly the best track on the entire album. Two MC's at the top of their games, amazing beat, I have never heard one person say it was a bad song and some folks dont know why it wasnt a single.

who the fuck is Johnny Rich....don't you mean Tommy Rich

Lloyd Carr finds ways to lose games, believe me. Once he retires and Michigan goes out and gets an innvoator (Petrino) instead of a "Michigan man", they'll win another national title. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Lloyd Carr serious while he underachieves people act like the guy is a total loser. 95% of coaches would kill for 5 conference titles and a national title in 10 seasons. Since 1997, only Carr,Coker,Carroll,Stoops,Bowden,Fulmer,Saban have titles, and you can argue only Carroll and Stoops have been more consistient as far as being good every year, and only in the last 3 or 4 years has SC been good to great before that they were fucking wretched. Michigan won't hire Bobby Petrino because they don't need him, they will promote someone within, it seems to be something thats worked for those last three coaches we've had in the last 35 or so years. I'm mean Michigan does find ways to lose at least a game or two a year they shouldnt, but they seem to always find a way to win some games they have no business winning, (MSU the last two years,Minnesota the last two years, Ohio State from 95-97). You have to consider also that this year, they have had about 6 or 7 starters injured and still are in the hunt for the Big Ten. If Hart, Long, and company are healthy right now I am pretty sure Michigan is up there with Va. Tech, and Texas as potential USC beaters

MSU is going to tear Michigan apart Saturday iggy, and I'll be on the 40 yard line - 20 rows up for the whole thing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wouldn't go that far now Crimson, Michigan will be up for this one and if they can get the offense going a little bit MSU won't stop them. State's defense isn't good at all this year and I'll take my money in a track meet with Breaston, Manningham, Avant, Ecker and the backs. This is all contingent on Chad Henne actually hitting the guys with passes and Terry Malone calling some aggresive plays. If Michigan sits on their hands and tries to turn this into a 1967-era game they will get blown out, they need to take a page out of State's book and spread some guys out maybe throw in Antonio Bass or some other athlete at QB for a snap and see what the Spartans do. As for Leinart, come on the guy has been amazing the last two and a quarter seasons. Sure he has tons of talent around himbut so does Michigan, Florida, Texas, Miami and none of those teams are working on three-straight titles. He is the best qb for that system and I think he will be a Tom Brady style pro qb....not all that great wiht the measureables but accurate and smart and thats more important that having a rifle arm or being able to run a 4.4 40 yd dash
-
If that is the case, then they won't have any problems against Michigan. Their quarterback has completed more passes to the other team than he has to Steve Breaston. Henne is just off right now, and Carr has to consider benching him in favor of Gutierrez who is more accurate and more mobile than Henne and that is something the offense needs right now. I still think State will beat Michigan in a competitive game but the possibility for a blow out for the Spartans is there, I just don't get the feeling of the typical MSU with this year's squad, this is the team they were supposed to have before Jeff Smoker snorted up half of East Lansing. Also, my respect for Michigan fans especially the students has gone down. People who know nothing about football around here are clamoring for Lloyd Carr to be fired. You know the guy with a national title and 5 conference championships.

Haha, we have the Jerome Jackson fan club here dedicated to the coaches actually playing him
-
My friend's going to that, too. He finds a way to bring it up at least once a day. Hey, I just noticed my city's mentioned in your sig! Hooray ghetto Saginaw. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are from the Sagnasty....what school did you go to I have tons of friends at U of M from Flint, Saginaw, and Bay City.....like Lamarr Woodley
-
yeah I scooped the tracks and while it sounds somewhat different than their last two albums, I'm loving it. My friends were over and I was playing some tracks and they were all like who are these guys " they are fucking awesome".....This seals it, I'm buckling down and going to the concert on 10/2

wait a minute, Chris Masters is 22 years old. THAT fucking guy is barely two years older than me. He looked 27-28 for sure. Damn, hes like Rene Dupree who is what 21 and just stacked. I really wish I had a tv to watch this match on
-
Notre Dame still doesn't look to me like a top 10 team. Sure, they beat Michigan at home, (with a ton of help from Chad Henne, Lloyd Carr and his team of trained monkeys masquerading as a coaching staff), and they beat a flat-out bad Pitt team. I don't think that beating a team that lost to Ohio University and then beating a team who dominated them in the second half and would have one had they could have even scored on 50% of their redzone chances constitutes them being a top 10 team. They are very good, probably right now a top 16-20 team but they can easily lose 2 or 3 of their next 4 games. As for Ohio State, they looked like a top 5 team last night even in losing. They are way better than Georgia Tech, Tennessee, and Georgia right now. Wisconsin hasnt shown they are going to be a top 15 team yet. Sure they have hung up a lot of points, but Bowling Green shredded their defense and if they play like that against Iowa(who didnt have Tate for most of the game),Michigan State, Ohio State, or Purdue they will get beat because those teams are just a little bit more talented on the defensive side. Also, Miami shouldnt be ranked ahead of Michigan simply based on the logic, they havent won a game yet, while Michigan has and they both lost to comparable teams based on your rankings

That guy used to write for the Detroit News and they always had a wrestling section on fridays. That is how i became a smart fan reading that sick bastards articles
